Did you download stock ICS from asus? http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Eee+Pad+Transformer+Prime+TF201&p=20&s=16
There is no downgrade though. To do that you have to use the unlocker tool on that site to downgrade

[Q] How to return to Stock?

So for some apparent reason my Unlocked Bootloader 16gb wifi Tab keeps losing root. Flashed the touchwiz update in the development forums and i lost root,it happened before to randomly. I figured i would start from scratch. Was a odin file on here which was SUPPOSE to be a factory recovery. It worked set the tab back to 3.0 but with A LOT of force closing issues. Tried doing the update to 3.1 OTA and still the same issues. So any thoughts or advice. The tab has the fastboot bootloader from Mashi and that is about it. Just want to see A) How i can get back up and running & B) How can i stop from losing root.
i realize that touchwiz makes you lose root but I had lost root previously 2-3 times. Based off of that is why i ask how to get back to stock and if anybody has been having issues regarding root.
Galaxytabhacks.com has some new videos to easy root and unroot the gtab.

I panicked last night and didn't read everything properly. the stock image file for ODIN that is out there contains no kernel just the 3.0.0 Rom and everything. After flashing that you have to boot into recovery and factory reset. I had Mashi's fastboot bootloader installed so getting to recovery from VOL + & PWR wasn't an option. I had to then restore the factory bootloader and then get to Recovery to wipe. OTA'd the 3.1 update and i am back to the norm. Root came back to w/o me having to do anything for that matter.

Factory resetting doesn't cause a phone to bootloop or get softbricked, just saying.
Anyways, if you have a custom recovery installed, you could just simply wipe the device and reinstall whatever rom it was.
To go back to complete stock, look for the most recent GB stock ruu file in the dev forum, download it and place it on your sd card. Rename that file PH85IMG, reboot into bootloader, follow all on screen instructions to restore to stock. If the device is s-on, you will need to lock the bootloader before placing that PH85IMG on the sd card.
Or you can look for the most recent ICS leaked ruu zip file to go straight to ICS instead of GB, instructions to use this file remains the same as GB.

[Q] Stock rom can Vodafone tell if its been rooted?

Hi all
Ok Ive just had my phone repaired by vodafone as the motherboard was dead and it came back with stock rom so i straight away set about rooting it but ive had multiple problems.
No matter how many roms i put on it with stock different kernels, super wipe, mega wipe and now even back to vodafones stock rom it keeps crashing and rebooting
I didnt run it long enough when it came back from repair so i dont know if it did it before root, does anyone think this is a issue before i started to root or something i've done?
Also now ive put stock rom on it when i try to do anthing that requires root access it says its not rooted and there is no little orange ! in the corner when booting up, so if i send this back to vodafone can they tell from this that ive attempted rooting etc, is there anyway for them to tell?
Thanks for your helps
not if you se the triangle away app in the playstore to reset your binary counter
Its not so simple as just TA.
Your status is modified and requires run TA flash stock rom then factory reset then check status in download mode and about phone in settings .
jje
ok so i've flashed the stock romj then do a factory reset in options in android? when do i do TA? also doesnt TA need root privledges? As its showing as not rooted?
Thanks
So is the process re root, run ta then reflash stock rom and factory reset?

[Q] Remove Custom screen after formatting

So I sold my S4 but want to get them fully back to stock. I was under the impression that if I remove root then format it should remove the splash screen showing custom. It did not and now I need to figure out how to fix this. Any suggestions? Should I flash, via odin, a stock image?

You've got to revert any changes you made, unroot, then boot it and wait 10 minutes or so. The scanner will see that it's stock and reset the "Custom" flag.
It's far more reliable to just flash a stock ROM.

what is this supposed to mean ?
As I said...don't you worry about it.
And while not worrying it, you might as well just flash it with the stock...
(good site, somehow hard to remember for me)
how would i go about re-flashing the tablet?

1. Use SamFirm to get the Stock ROM for your phone
2. Use Odin to flash the Stock ROM found
