Hello
I have got one HTC Incredible 2 phone.
Recently I have installed the leaked Ice Cream Sandwich as discribed in the link below(I installed both rom and rom firmware):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846304
The rom looks to be working ok for me except for the fact that when I try to access the Google Play it is allways giving me the error "Server Error" so I can not access it to download new application. Can someone help me why this is happening?
Also another question is the official ICS 4 available for HTC Incredible 2?
Thanks for your help.

Try flashing a different Gapps package. There is a leaked RUU of ICS for that device.

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Actully the link that you proposed is were I have got the leaked ICS for my device and in general is working ok until now. One of the problems faces is the one mentioned above, not being able to access Google Play.
Do you have any links where I can get the Gapps package?
What about the offical OTA ICS do you have any updates when it will be available?

I have no idea when it will be released. Gapps are available here. Choose one which applies .

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
I tried installing the Gapps again as you proposes but still getting the same error "Server Error" and not able to access Google Play.
Also something else if it relevant, eventhough I have added my google account on the phone I am not able to see the device listed on Android Devices in Google from my computer.
Is there anything else that can be done to resolve this issue?

Hello everyone,
I got Ace for my wife and I know sh*t about Samsungs (I use HTC) I noticed it has old Android version. Now, what are the mothods of updating with Samsung? Are there OTA updates as with HTC or you have to download rom from somewhere and flash it with cable? Also, what is the latest version (is there Gingerbread?) and where to find it?
Thanx a lot
Cheers,

Hi fellows,
I have been looking and I think Motorola and Vivo have released an update for motorola RAZR. You can see at this site: http://direct.motorola.com/PRL/Soft...R&strCable=Micro USB Data Cable&strURL=No URL
Unfortunately, when I download the software and install it, it recognizes my device and starts to search for updates. After more than 40 minutes, it says that an update is available but, when I continue, it shows an error message and tells to reconnect / reboot my Motorola. I have done these procedures many times, but I can't update it.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Ronan
Did you ever get this working?
xxBrun0xx you like to experimenting
it is the truth? we can update this f...ing ROM?
As far as official updates, not yet. If you want to go unofficial, you can get ics, but the radios still suck.

I think it ll 2.3.6 update, with the new radio and kernal :\

Hello Guys,
I'm kind of a noob in Desire X, i got it from a online site 2 days ago.
Now the problems I'm facing is that -
1) The GPS isn't working at all and I can't find any satelites while my Galaxy Y can find.
So I want to flash the latest stock rom here which might lead to a fix for this issue.
Can anyone tell me how to flash stock rom here and where can I find it?
Thanks in Advance

A Jelly Bean update has started rolling out to Desire Xs today, if you keep checking for software updates on your phone, you might find that it will be available very soon. From there you could then make a nandroid backup, and then try solving the issues if the software update does not fix the gps issues.
Wait for at least 5 minutes an go outside to get a gps lock... always works for me...
Hey guys
I've just recently unlocked my bootloader for my evo3D so I'm kinda new to all this rom flashing business but seeing as how the custom roms here thrash the stock ICS OTA update, I figured I might as well have a go at getting a new rom.
I downloaded the Viper3D ROM from this link on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1991150
Supposedly it was the 1.6.3 version but when i installed using 4EXT aroma said it was 1.0.0? Looking at the software information, it also seemed that the version i was running was the 1.0.0 version of the ROM. Additionally, after installation, my mobile network was disconnected. I cant turn it on no matter what i do.
After searching around for the latest version of the ROM, i read some forum about the r284/r310/r330 versions, which was the updated versions of the ROM. However, I cant seem to find a download link for them? Also, doing a software check via the settings app does nothing. All it says is that my phone is up to date.
I'm pretty stuck here guys. The ROM is awesome and all, just that I cant seem to dl the latest version and my mobile network aint connected. Any way i can fix this?
Thanks!
anyone?
Hi, I've recently finished the porting of CM10.1 for XT885. A v1.1 has been roll out days ago.
The code was based on the branch for XT910, with modification for XT885.
All functions have been validated to be working up to now. Maybe some minor bugs there, i'm no so sure.
This is my first post, so, i don't have the right to post external link. Please remove all " from the following links and replace all "," with "."
The page for ROM publish is here: (sorry, it's in Chinese, i will translate the most important part later)

Download URL for v1.1
"http":"//"pan,baidu,com/share/link?shareid=3637467016&uk=587386395
How to flash it:
1. Make sure you're currently using the official 4.1.2. e.g. "fastboot-p0a_yangtze-umts_yangtze-user-4.1.2-6.7.2_GC-404-303-release-keys-ChinaRetail-CN_chn.tar.gz" in China market.
2. Make sure the device is rooted.
3. Install "BMM-v0.3.4.apk".
I've upload one to the net drive here:
"http":"//"pan,baidu,com/share/link?shareid=1896218284&uk=587386395
4. Install the boot menu by using BMM. You can google for some guide on this. Make sure you can boot into stock ROM after this.
5. Copy the ROM (cm-10.1-20130810-GOPISE-v1.1-umts_yangtze.zip) to the SDCARD.
6. Boot into BMM and jump to "Recovery".
7. Flash the ZIP in BMM.
8. Wipe the /userdata and /cache and reboot.
9. Enjoy!
Known issues:
1. USB seems not so stable.
The source code has also been published on GitHub. You can also find details from my blog: (both Chinese and English this time...)

Great ! Finally !!!
Trying this right now and I'll post my comments !
Update : tried anyway with the AU Release and it reboot in BMM at Booting ...
Will try with the China Firmware
update2 - seems like I can't flash the China Firmware due to the fact that I cannot downgrade from the AU & OTA Update to a lower firmware ...
Anybody got an Idea ?

Did you find any solution? I did the same thing, installed it over AU and cant flash the China firmware. Able to find a fix?
cdma_yangtze compatibility
What if I will flash this on my Motorola Electrify 2 (cdma_yangtze) (4.1.2) ?
Will it work ? And will it be possible to roll back my BMM backup in case of boot problem ?
Hmm, after months of having this it seems like something promising finally started... but it also seems like it's died down. Is there any news on this rom whatsoever? Kinda sad to see something like this just drift away... (Google Translate is a fail at translating the chinese site)

As for that I think it might mess up the radios since you have CDMA Phone while the rest of the world with XT885 has GSM Radios in the phone.
I agree. This thread ignited hope in me that is once again fading. Has anyone successfully installed this ROM that can explain how they went about it? (I'm on latest AU firmware)
Didn't work for me. Totally messed up my phone. Mostly my fault though. I installed it on slot one without a nandroid backup.
Please can you give us the firmware? The chinese 4.1.2 for Razr v xt885
