Hay Bro....
If U are like to use Jelly Sandwich v6.1
Then use Suave Kernel v6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708532
its really work good for this rom
Rename image to boot.img and use fastboot command
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
Click to collapse
Then Use your Rom.....

thanx, i used V5... like a butter

You didn't hotboot, you flashed that kernel
It was created just with CWM so that's why on each reboot you went to CWM

I think u r not flashin the device patch!
6.1 requires it!
Later updates don't!
Try v6.2.5

Did you flash proper kernel and make correct choices for your phone?
if your device is stuck on the boot screen, you probably forgot to format the system before doing the other wipes and install the ROM :x

I don't think you have to format the system. Generally All Roms are packed with updater-script which directs the cwm to format the system prior flashing.
hit thanks if I've helped!

Instead of choosing full wipe in Aroma, do factory reset + Wipe Cache + Wipe Dalvik Cache in CWM (recovery mod)and then install ROM.

if you already have a backup of your old ROM, format the system will not be a problem

Flash the recovery from the computer and try again. You don't have to reboot where you did, you have to continue with the steps.
Did you increase your system partition?
Or it wouldn't work

Sola stuck at Sony boot logo
Hi,
Placed the ROM.zip in sd card and did a full wipe. In my CWM, there is no option to go back, hence rebooted the system to install the ROM after full wipe. My phone got stuck at Sony logo and even unable to access CWM. Please help!
I did the following steps mentioned in the ROM page of XDA to install the custom ROM on my phone.
1. Flash boot.img from .zip via Fastboot ---- LEFT OUT THIS ONLY STEP BY MISTAKE and done the subsequent steps.
2. Enter CWM
3. Make a full wipe:
4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5. Wipe Cache
6. Wipe Dalvik Cache
7. format /data (advanced)
8. format /dache (advanced)
9. format /system (advanced)
-Flash ROM. --- YET TO FLASH THE ROM.
I'm unable to access CWM. I can't power off, I can only restart, but getting stuck at Sony logo everytime. It would be very kind if you could help me in getting the phone to work as normal.
Thanks,
Irfan

No problem, just remember to check out the thread of the rom and read the instructions to see if that's necessary or not, before you start installing. Otherwise you could get a status 7 error in cwm or some files could be missing

Download your xperia mini pro ginger bread ftf
Flash it using flashtool
And boot up to gingerbread os. The touch will work now
Now flash the kernel and then the rom of your choice.
When ever your touch stops working. Just chill and flash the official ginger bread firmware (ftf file) by sony

use the ics-ftf gb is outdated. also flashing stock.ics.ftf is a requirement for LX.
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239?tstart=0
after u flashed t just install LX like this (dont do more ; not less !)
- place ROM.zip & gapps ON SD
- power off device, flash KERNEL inside ROM zip
- in mounts & storage format: /system /data /cache
- install ROM & gapps
-boot that sh*t XD
good luck too u.
