I've tried both the AOKP ROM and SuperNexus ROM, and both times after flashing my phone no longer vibrates for incoming calls/messages/emails.
I've made sure all settings for vibrate are on, and the vibrate function itself works because I can feel the feedback for screen touches, etc, but it just won't vibrate for incoming calls/texts/emails, regardless of my settings.
I installed both ROMs using the exact instructions (flashed back to official Samsung 4.0.4 ROM first, wiped, etc, etc)
Custom always the answer is has vibrate been removed from that rom .

I installed this rom a few days ago.
and since some day, the phone randomly vibrates, when its not even on vibrate mode.
I check the phone, and nothing.
It just vibrates once, and thats it. This does very randomly, and sometimes very frequently.
Does anybody know whats going on?

Have you tried a full wipe and reflashing the rom. Also what rom where you using before flashing this build of MIUI
I've noticed that my phone vibrate for a short time while i write a message and stop to work (the same for games)... Fingerprint doesn't work all the time. (Bootloader unlocked + custom rom)
When i flash a Official SBF, the vibration and the fingerprint works fine!
Anybody know why?

Explain this permissions setting in CWR as I have flashed my phone to latest Olympus build and lost ability to use handset speaker, phone will go dark and unresponsive until I turn on a BT device if I place or take a call, or can use speaker function while answering and let everyone hear me on my call.
Has to be something simple, it worked prior to flash.
Vibrate mode on my phone doesn't work anymore. What I want is to just have sound on sound mode and just have vibrate on vibrate. Now however, if I enable vibration in sound mode it will work in vibrate mode too but if i disable it it doesn't and acts just like mute. Sound and vibration option is greyed out in all but sound modes. I tried all I could think of in the settings but cant figure it out.
I run a stock rom, 4.1.2 jb.
I don't really like bumping my topics but I have to since this is very annoying, I often have my phone on vibrate and need to be aware of incoming call/sms/email but it just doesn't work unless I change some settings every time.
I did wipe x x x from recovery but didn't help. (xxx= forgot names right now)

I've done factory reset and flashed with stock rom and service is my last option because I hate redoing all the settings, programs etc when phone is reset and just about finished after trying to fix this by doing before-mentioned things :|
I noticed when I have it on vibrate and get IM in skype it does vibrate, but still doesn't for SMS/call.
I seem to have encountered a bug with the data toggle in this rom, it can turn off data, but it can't turn it back on, clicking it to turn it on will grey the text out but data will never come back on, and the checkbox in the settings screen stays unticked.
Could be a bug in the AOKP version used in the ROM.

I'm using the traditional JB 4.2 tiles toggles.
I would have posted directly to the rom dev, but the 10 posts limit thing...

Did u flash after a full wipe? Have you tried doing a factory reset or re-flash of the ROM? Check these first, and then you can conclude its a bug of the ROM.
Ok, so here's the deal. Props to the whole cm team, i'm pleased with cm11 so far minus one thing - whenever i make or receive a call, my screen blacks out and is unresponsive until the call has ended. I ran into this issue when i was running a custom rom in ics, when i flashed the jb Leak as well, then after I flashed the Official jb update, no problem.The resolution was fairly simple, i got into the hidden programming menu by dialing ##7764726 and verified the password "000000" and disabled the proximity sensor...voila, all was good. But when i try to access this menu in the cm11 rom, it actually tries to call that number . Has the method to get to that specific menu been changed or removed? If there is a way to disable the phones proximity sensor in this rom can it please be shared?
