i was wondering if its possible to invert all gapps colours or at least gtalk on the s3, so it would save some battery cause iam using gtalk quite alot?

i have no idea why google earth doesn't work. hwa i'm assuming?
just click on each individual link and save it to sd card. then go into recovery and flash. no wiping necessary. it will do it for you. follow special instructions on the rootzwiki link for calendar and talk.

I recently flashed D-WiZ's ROM via safestrap3, and i found a Gapps package in "Update Me". It showed a warning - This is the official Gapps package! They are NOT inverted! If you flash this you'll lose D-WiZ's inverted Gapps!
I am a noob, what does this warning mean? What are inverted Gapps??
You dont need to install gapps. D-WiZ's rom already has it (gapps = google apps)

i know gapps is google apps, but the os is 4.1.2, still i dont see google now in D-WiZ gapps, so i thought if i flashed the original jelly bean gapps maybe i'll get GNow
It should be in your app drawer. It is just called "Google". I also think long pressing the search button activates it.

I cannot post to a developer's thread cause I'm a newbie and although I have read hundreds of posts I'm very confused
I have i9300 with the latest stock 4.3 and with Yank555 4.0a kernel as a fix for the lockscreen delay and the battery drain issues.
Still, I have a very laggy phone, so I decided to install Temasek's CM11 rom and I have the following questions:
1) What is the difference between the PA Gapps and the bank Gapps. Which should I install (I'm not gonna use ART)
2) Should I flash Tomasek's kernel BEFORE booting or I can do this afterwards (boot with Yank's ).
3) What is the right order (ROM->Gapps->Kernel) or it doesn't matter?
3) Which of the 2 kernels?
any other info that might save me from heart attack during flashing will be much appreciated

Your answers:
1. PA Gapps are the same google signed apps which can be found in play store, I didn't know much about BaNkS Gapps, never tried that. You can use PA Gapps.
2. Do you really want to use Temasek's, or just to make sure that the ROM runs properly? You can flash it afterwards too..
3. You can flash the Rom first than Gapps and then a Kernel else ROM will flash its own kernel. And what do you mean by "Which of the 2 kernels?", if you mean which one to use Yank's or Temasek's than for Temasek's ROM you can use Temasek's because he has made lots of improvements for his ROM and for others too, if later you find Yank's was better than you can flash that later..
I have other problems with the Banks Gapps.
When I flashed it, I lost the keyboard and now I can't write. Also the volume buttons on the side of the phone doesn't response to touch, so I can't manage the sounds with that buttons.
Maybe I need a clean install? Because I install that Gapps over the PA gapps.

I have no problem with this set up. Same rom same gapps and no keyboard problems and volume buttons work fine. Worked on stock kernel and devil2 1.8 kernel too. Reflash full wipe is recommended :thumbup:

From official thread: Lockscreen sound distorts music playing. Turn lockscreen sound as a workaround.

I have no influence on quality on neither the Google camera or cm's cameranext, this is a Google or CM kind of fix, sorry man, but haven't heard about a bad quality until now...

@OwnDroid can we extract the CameraNext and GaleryNext apk's and install them in our own rom without installing the full gapps package?
I'm not interested in having it disable/remove the default files on my rom but I would love to have this updated and your pack seems to do so....
Or, can you release a pack that installs them and don't delete the ones preinstalled with the rom we use it on?

why not? Android needs to be open sourced right? So OwnDroid and OwnROM are always open Sourced...
About the sepperate packs, i am planning to build those to, but first let me focus a bit on the ROM and G-apps...
I cant seem to get bbm on this rom&kernel any ideas why or ways round it? i have gone back to android ICS 4.0.3 atm untill i can get bbm on this kernel and rom as use it to talk too family and friends!

when restarting my phone it doesnt boot past the kernel boot image any reason why? or how to fix it?
