NEED FOR SPEED : MOST WANTED
Get full effect in Need for Speed : Most Wanted just like Galaxy s3/iOS devices. Road reflections, Real time car reflections, Motion blur, particles, Smoke, Chrome effects, additional lightings etc.
STEPS:
1.Install Chainfire
2.Check EGL and install plugin.
3.Done.
No need to use additional plugins/settings.
P.S Chainfire is not compatible with ICS. If installed on sense 3.6 , it will show black screen in games.
Use bootmanager and install a Gingerbread ROM as a SLOT ROM.. I am using SK.Beastmode ROM on my 3D and MOST WANTED works with full effects without any issues or blackscreen. NO lag at all, unlike tegra 3 devices. According to the reviews on play store, Nexus 7 ,transformer and HTC one x lagggg and there is a significant frame drop during gameplay......... But not on our devices!!!! Even though its not designed to have full effects on our phones!!!!! Adreno 220 kicks ass....

ASPHALT 7 : HEAT
OK, I have modified the "deviceconfig.xml" file for Asphalt 7 v1.0.1 which will boost the graphics to max.
You need to backup your current obb file then open the obb file with 7z or winRAR (do not extract , just double click ) navigate to data/device config and drag and drop the modified deviceconfig.xml attached below.
The game will ask you to download 1mb additional data (dont worry it wont change the deviceconfig.xml) . Let it download and start.
Please post back how it goes.
To boost FPS, you can turn Vsync OFF using Kernel Tuner provided you have supported Kernel.
This mod is for Asphalt 7 v1.0.1 and may not work with previous versions.
Have fun!

If you are talking about the same link to the sensation thread that I had posted in the OP , that lagged too much for me too on v1.0.1
I got only 3-4 fps with that mod. So I tried creating one myself and it doesnot lag in the menu atleast . Lags a bit in races though .

Yes.....game looks far better than before and is playable.
But the game lags at few places in some maps but it is acceptable.....
I need to find a way to fix the lag
I will try to mod the file again to have best of both worlds.
It would be nice if you would add some screens from yourself,with visible new effects.

reflection and environment / buildings are much.more detailed..
there are smoke effects too when you drift
p.s. sorry for the steering wheel and breaks..... I don't like playing with motion for some reason....

Did you follow the instructions correctly?
Its there in the obb file in the data/deviceconfig folder...

Strange why game devs reduce the graphics for our phones... Adreno 220 can handle them quite well.... Better than tegra 3.... Current version lags sometimes on nexus 7. Most of the time on htc one x, it's unplayable..... Maybe an update will fix that... But who cares enjoy it on the 3D

Thanks for that but i find it a but annoying that each time i want to play the game ,i have to dual boot. :/ hope there soon will be another method or chainfire will be supported for ics .

Asphalt 7 lags a bit with the additional effects .
And other 2 work without any lag.
You can compare your game with the images in the op and check the surroundings , roads , lights , reflections etc . It does improve the graphics ....

yes , u are right .. compared ur picture with my games .. i thought the effects doesn't matter very much . but after a few round of playing .. i started blame on the lack of effect

can i said that the most visible difference after applying the mod is the motion blur when using nitrous ?
i think chainfire 3D works on ICS .. when i open fruit ninja THD it shows tegra only . but after using NVIDIA plugin in chainfire 3D , i can play the game .

I recently downloaded some gameloft games which when I wanted to install them,it restarted my optimus one. For ex Order & Chaos etc
So I flashed it with CM7. Still don't the same thing.
Can this be fixed somehow by editing the build.prop file or doing any other modifications?

Our phone does not yet support these games because of the CPU (arm v6) so do not expect to run most recent games yet. Maybe after some months or decades o1 will support them lol.

Not true. Well officially it doesn't support those,but there is a russian Optimus One blog where the russians have modified a bunch of gameloft games to work on Optimus one. Here are a few examples which are fixed:
Asphalt 5
NOVA
Eternal Legacy
Modern Combat Sandstorm
Assassins Creed
HAWX
Gangster
Hero Of Sparta
and one of my fav games too: Guerilla Bob
I suppose there is some code in the installer apk file which isn't compatible with the system,that's why we get restarting,but those russians can fix this so there is some way around this.

You can try chainfire 3d app.
It isn't problem with the graphics. The games would run on Optimus One with reduced graphics with Chainfire.
The problem is that I can't even install the games.
When I try to install,it reboots my phone...
I know there is a way to fix this because those russian developers have already fixed some of those games so it IS possible.
Does any1 have the same prob?

ok.. here are the reasons why your phone reboots while installing those games.. .
the GAME you DOWNLOADED was not an ARMV6 compatible games.. .
but.. but.. but .. .
there's a lot of GAMELOFT GAMES now that was MODIFIED to RUN on ARMV6 Devices.. . and played a lot of em' like .. .
NOVA • GUERILLA BOB • ASPHALT 5 • i also have STUPID ZOMBIES • DEAD SPACE • ETERNAL LEGACY • BOTHERS IN ARMS • and other GAMES which is not really made for ARMV6 DEVICES.. .
here's a tip.. .
trynna look for an ARMV6 installer/apk.. .Google it.. just type "Order & Chaos for ARMV6"

JasataPein is right, the apk u dwnlded isnt compatible. just try dwnlding another APK..

I hope you guys could help me out here. I'm looking for a really good gaming ROM that can run high definition HVGA games and is fast, stable and even looks nice. And there's one thing, I really like the Torch app usually included with CM7 roms and it should be included. I am currently using Miracle V4 but i think its got kind of out dated. So I want to "move on." And yup, there's one thing that is necessary, There should not be any major bugs.
Please Suggest A Rom that would meet those requirements above. Thank You.

CM7 Apocalypse Final or the version before final. Works like a charm. And high definition HVGA games? You have the wrong phone.

Thanks. I had apocalypse first and i noticed that the status bar doesn't show info unless there is a notification recieved and that bug was really annoying so i switched back to Miracle V4 until i find another Rom. Will Apocalypse Final have this problem? And I know most of the games are not supported on Ace, but i'm gonna use warez.
The Democracy ROM by tamingsari2k is also a good gaming ROM and it has No major bugs.
Btw I used it a lot and The Democracy ROM also has the ics navigation softkeys in the statusbar mod which is made by nutella banane.
Try the Democracy ROM.

Look, I've actually tried several ROMS but in the end always stay with one based on CM7. The truth is that whenever I tried one based on Stock I had problems.
however, should recommend ROMS CM7 or CM9 based, and secondly to recommend based on STOCK ROM.
I am currently using CM7 APOCALYPSE, I had no problems, just not yet find the right LAUNCHER. Now if I find a good ROM based on STOCK, I stay with her.

Ram manager > select hard gaming option

Yes , now i'm using StockLite for modifications questions, but this rom is great to run games. With chainfire so ... I run Fifa 12 no lag !

there's a guy/girl who called ReaperXL2.
and he claiming his/her rom(Xperience.cyanogen) is fastest ROM, with awesome ram management.
I personally prefer untouched CM7 by vo-1 + firekernel OC. that was fast enough for gaming.

no. i didnt really like cyanmobile its too simple and no visual element.
i have an idea,
why don't you use your own rom droidace i've used it and its very stable, good performance and in benchmarks it even beat apocalypse rom. even its good for gaming i tried pes, and some other games and they ran with no lag even gta 3!!!!!
maybe u are using it because this thread looks old.

Any kernel can run above 3000 points?
Uh...the widgets(like FancyWidgets) loads little slow when booting...
Except this,the rom is operate smoothly.
And hope CM Settings will be added into next version successfully,need not flash by ourselves.

Hows the gaming performance on this phone. As this phone has 1080p screen do the games lag? because thats too much to take for the GPU. I thought 720p was perfect for adreno 320 but they put it on a 1080p device is kinda stressful on the GPU. Can all the games play at 30fps smooth? can we play 720p games on this phone from other phones or does it have to be only 1080p game. Can this phone work perfectly for atleast games launching 1 year from now. Do normal apps like whatsapp, viber, tapatalk and other 720p apps work fine with this phone?
My DNA can run Epic Castle (? I can't remember the name, but I know it starts with Epic lol) at almost 60fps. This game features the Unreal Engine. So yeah, the DNA is perfectly capable

I have yet to have a game lag on me. I have had more problems with game compatability rather than lag (need for speed most wanted). Even then you can side load most things apps that say they are incompatible and they end up working fine. Best phone I have ever owned

Considering how badly GTA IV runs on my crazy rig of a desktop, I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that GTA III doesn't run so great for me. Bike Race seems to lag now and then; might be the connection to the network though.

My gaming experience is a mixed bag as well. For example, Homerun Battle 2 lags like crazy on the DNA (whereas the SGS3 has no issues). Pitfall from time to time gets a bit laggy as does Temple Run 2. As pointed out, Epic Castle looks great as does Dead Trigger. It's more app specific with some games just not being optimized for our devices.

Yep, agree completely. I tried Epic Castle(Citadel I think it actually is, lol) myself and it runs beautifully.

I have the games as well and they run great for me. Rooted, s-off with stock rom and kernal on newest update.. set cpu running msm-dcvs & cfq

yes is very nice i got more fluid gameplay but.. i only activated the MSM-DCVS... and i dont know ehre to find the CFQ ??? how can i active this and when i active the MSM-DCVS it only gives ms 1.5GHz on each core and i have it 1.7Ghz ... OVerlock do you know why?

That governor is set at 1.5. You can't over or under clock it.
And cfq is an io scheduler. Most apps that let you overclock and set governors also let you change the schedular

our phone has graphic issue. Many games showing low graphics. In real racing3 there is a huge graphic issue and also in The amazing spiderman game sometime graphic lag arises/////

why don't u try Adrenaline™ Boost...its was very helpful for me......try and u will get the result....also nova 3 is very heavy games of 2.2gb which ran smoothly without any lag as compared to my friends lava q800 in which it takes ages to load.......

Games are not lagging in speed but lagging in graphics. I mean grahics quality is very low and sometimes doesnot display objects like in amazing spider man sometume it shoes red line instead of lamp posts and in real racing3 no object in the mirror..

Even in my previous micromax canvas 3d, these games were having lil lag in speed but graphic quality was better than quattro. May be cause of mtk chipset and powervr sgx gpu.

but at this amount Adreno 203 wtf ?
Sony have Adreno 305 at this range maybe at less yea

I bought it in 16k and micromax phones those are priced 10k are better in graphics than our quattro. By the way the only thing I found good is the after sale service. Samsung is the best company to provide the best after sale service and thats the reason I choose samsung over others. As a compare my canvas 3d got touch screen problem and I sent it to service and after a month passed, its still there. If it was samsung, hopefully it should get repaired within a week. Thats the difference where comes mind satisfaction.

Its quad core but the quality is not so good cause its cortex a5 which is a bit backdated and the modern dual core processors are as same as this quad core.

I figured out that der is a way to fix pink graphical issues in the amazing spiderman game !!!!
Just dowload the two files and put them in /sdcard0/gameloft/games/GloftAMHM/
And then u'll be free of graphical bug !!!
And u'll notice better graphics and greater light reflections !!!!!

Yes I tried it in TASM and it worked out flawlessly!!!!
And talking abt real racing 3.....I'll tell you in the evening coz first I've got to download it!!!!

There is a problem in mirror reflector. There are no images in mirror in real racing3. It will be great if u r able to make that mirror working.

Umm...did u tried using this app!!!! In my friend's cell I tried this app and it flashed out all the bugs coming in this game!!!!

It doesnt work. Pink graphical issue still there after copying those file. By the way what i found is u have used avg phones config as lowphone config which just increase graphic setting in game but our phone is not capable enough to process well graphics so the issue still remain and another file which is config of s3 is of no need for quattro as its onpy applicabale to s3. By the way some graphics effect increased but pink graphics issue still remain there.
