Best possible audio!!!!!! - HTC Rezound

Any audiophiles in here know how to squeeze the best sounding audio outta this phone? I am a sucker for sound quality and I would like to know the best setup, app, settings, Audi files (that actually play on this phone)(flac doesn't seem to work), ect......I honestly don't think the beats audio zip for ALL apps even does anything cause I can't tell a difference (hell, that may even be why i was having in-car call quality issues). Thanks in advance guys!!
Sent from my rezound powered by Neo, Snuzzo, Chad, and all the xda devs which I will not stop modding until it has the ability to make me sandwiches on call or becomes self aware and kills me.

We had a thread like this many months ago (obviously I wouldn't expect you to find it, but just letting you know)
FLAC does work on CM9.
According to a.mcdear, this phone has a TI dac. (forgot the model)
Unfortunately, we do not have a voodoo sound kernel because supercurio only develops for Samsung phones.

Not sure why you would want it, but the Beats installer from the Play Store works.

I don't use beats. Waste of resources since it sits standby until you plug headphones in.

Subtle changes and it works great. But equalizer settings can vary based on the type of music and even the way it was mixed. Tone knobs off.

Weird noise in headphones while scrolling homescreens?

Can anyone else recreate this? I have nothing else audio running, yet when I plug in my phones or scroll the screens, I get feedback. Really odd.
Edit: its very faint. You have to be in complete silence to hear it.

That could be a good thing as far as aosp goes though. May not mean anything but I remember reading a post from someone in a aosp thread who said he could hear noise while scrolling through his home screens and wearing head phones. And someone else made the comment that maybe there was sound but it was just so low you couldn't hear it. That while working on sound for another phone they plugged it into an amp and they actually had sound. Don't really know where I'm going with this but just kinda thinking out loud.

mine does this too. it is electrical interference due to poor components. it is not unusual.
the best thing you can do is just turn the music up.

[Request] Jelly Bean kernel

someone told me it is possible to create a jellybean kernel using some parts of ICS kernel to build JB kernel for sense 4.5(sense 4+) . Me I really dont know where to start. Anyone want to help contribute with this or at least know someone who can build one for us Rezound users?
Kernel development, as far as I can tell, is one of the most challenging aspects of android development.
Are you requesting a working kernel, or guide to get you started on building one yourself?
If the former, would you like a side of bacon and eggs, too? If the latter, I suggest searching the Web for resources. Not to sound like a jerk, but I don't think you understand the gravity of your request.
We only recently got 'sauce', so working ICS kernels other than stock are a treat.
If you want more kernel development, donate to your dev.

[MOD][12/22]Franken-Beats Audio for Note v.2

I made this originally for the international Note 2 N7100 but it seems like it works on the I717 also. (I only tested it with 1 phone so there may be bugs) But it is the only Beats Audio that I have ever seen to work system-wide, from Youtube to Pandora. So after trying countless different "Beats Audio" zips on this site and not one single one working for my N7100 I have finally put together what I call Franken-Beats Audio. It takes files from all kinds of different Beats Audio zips (from the S3, the note 1, to the nexus, and S2) and now works 100% for me on my stock rooted n7100 and now the i717.
It's pretty self explanatory but here's some instructions...
Remove any previous audio mods first. It most likely won't work right with a modified kernel or other audio mods
1. Download zip below
2. Copy to SD card
3. Flash with cwm
4. Reboot
5. Settings, Sound, Music Effects, select DSPManager, Press OK.
6. Open DSPManager App, edit settings to your liking.
7. Use new "Music" app to play songs and enjoy!
*BUGS*
So far the only bug I see is that enabling "Dynamic Range Compression" lowers effect of other settings or disables them completely. Solution? Don't turn it on.
Bluetooth settings don't seem to work.
-------------------------------------------
My personal settings I enjoy using with my own Beats headphones are as follows:
Bass Boost: Enabled - Moderate
EQ: Enabled - Flat
Everything else is off
If you find any bugs feel free to report them here. I'll try to work on it but it is working fine for me right now. This may or may not work on other roms, I haven't tested it on anything but stock rooted N7100.
Thanks to everyone who supplied me with the files around this forum used to create my Franken-Beats
sounds good thanks

Even the deaf can hear it.
I'll bite: howz com y'all no likey this?
I understand that it must be considered pointless, given the unanimous scorn but, as an unabashed noob, I would like to know why.
For instance; there is a definite boost to the volume I get when playing music through my car speakers, using Bluetooth, and an equalizer app (so long as I use particular settings). Given that, why does it appear that no previous respondents to this thread seem willing to entertain the idea that the pitched (intentional word choice) app could provide a similar result.
I have no vested interest in this app: I have a great interest in the nature of the responses to the OP, however.
Thank you.

I can't speak for all these jerks, but to get an actual audio boost, you just change a few numbers in a single system file. I do it every time I flash a new rom and never have to worry about keeping an app open.
