Can anyone else recreate this? I have nothing else audio running, yet when I plug in my phones or scroll the screens, I get feedback. Really odd.
Edit: its very faint. You have to be in complete silence to hear it.

That could be a good thing as far as aosp goes though. May not mean anything but I remember reading a post from someone in a aosp thread who said he could hear noise while scrolling through his home screens and wearing head phones. And someone else made the comment that maybe there was sound but it was just so low you couldn't hear it. That while working on sound for another phone they plugged it into an amp and they actually had sound. Don't really know where I'm going with this but just kinda thinking out loud.

mine does this too. it is electrical interference due to poor components. it is not unusual.
the best thing you can do is just turn the music up.

im sorry if its been mentioned before but I'm pretty sure we all agree our speaker sucks for playing music, ringtones whatever. But I just downloaded the app Crackle and was watching Bad Boys and wow the sound is amazing! I had it turned up all the way and it was way to loud I had to turn it down. Stupid question tho does that app or ones close to it have idk extra sound booter or something in it?

Crackle is just an app for downloading vids, it may have some sort of built in eq but it aint gonna fix the system wide sound issue. Its a crappy speaker with too much treble nd not enough volume.

Yes it is a crappy speaker but it can't be all the bad if watching movies with that app the speaker its great. So we are not getting the full sound with the ringtones and everything I mentioned before. Looks good. Worth $1.60 to see if it helps, and getting better stereo sound, etc. is a bonus.
Edit:
OK, just played around with it a bit. Since I am in the office, I can't tell about the speaker, but the headphones are amazing with the virtual room effect turned on.
I'm thinking this might be the best $1.60 I've spent in quite a while!
I cant find it in the market. Is it just called Volume plus or actually the + sign? I get a volume control plus but its free
Wouldnt DSP Manager make it louder also?

Subtle changes and it works great. But equalizer settings can vary based on the type of music and even the way it was mixed. Tone knobs off.

Even the deaf can hear it.
I'll bite: howz com y'all no likey this?
I understand that it must be considered pointless, given the unanimous scorn but, as an unabashed noob, I would like to know why.
For instance; there is a definite boost to the volume I get when playing music through my car speakers, using Bluetooth, and an equalizer app (so long as I use particular settings). Given that, why does it appear that no previous respondents to this thread seem willing to entertain the idea that the pitched (intentional word choice) app could provide a similar result.
I have no vested interest in this app: I have a great interest in the nature of the responses to the OP, however.

I can't speak for all these jerks, but to get an actual audio boost, you just change a few numbers in a single system file. I do it every time I flash a new rom and never have to worry about keeping an app open.
