Hi i have a strange problem with mi Xperia x10.Whe i connet the phone to charger,the phone switched off,and i can't start it again.After a fiew hours ago i disconnet the phone and i cant start it again.I remove the battery for 10min.And than the phone starts with empty battery.My friend told me that i have to root it.But i dont know how.Please help me!? Show me the steps to change the rom with other.

my problem
My X10 stucks at sonyericsson(white text) itself
1. first of all my X10 was showing wrong battery percentages jumping randomly between battery values.
1. thought of software prob so i entered in to xrecovery mode wiped user data,
2. and wiped dalwik cache and battery status
3. then restarted
4. but it was not restarted stucks at "SonyEricsson"(white text) boot screen itself
5.then i reflashed eith (Sony Ericsson X10i_2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897)with Flash tool
unfortunately no use it stucks at the same "Sonyericsson" boot screen
6. i even updated with SEUS again stucks at the same"Sonyericsson" boot screen
so friends and experts pls gime the solution... i badly need it...
pls pls... ur help will be very much appreciated...
I have the same problem with my x10i and i gave it to SE for service.I am waiting it from next week.
So you can't get into recovery anymore and update from zeus didm't help ?
There are complete ROM's to flash trough flashtool try this with a version and a BB different than the las one you had
I couldnt beleiv this.. I left it for one day without battery and Today I turned on..surprisingly its booted perfectly .. Dont know how it happened.... Strange....

But I dont know wy its jumping between random battery levels.... I just replaced the maim board just two weeks back due to charging failure.. Anyone knows wy its jumping to ramdom battery levels??
Download Battery Calibration and follow the instructions.Check this guide
This is worst.. Since most of the x10 facing charging problem.since its a hardware problem none of the software fix this problem. I heard changing the main board only fix the problem. This is so bad. I sold x10 and went to arc.

i think anything is not good with Hardware...

My samsung galaxy mini has got into dead mode,because I installed a custom rom NatureUX-tass-V3.zip
My phone is not turning ON. Even when I'm charging my phone,it is not showing the charging icon and also when I connected it to PC via USB,it is not showing the battery icon. My phone was totally got dead.So,now I jus want to go to download mode,How can I do this.Please help me.....I heard that we can do this by using JTAG blah blah, I couldnt understand ,So give me the clear (procedure)explanation and required files that how can i go to download mode.

so yesterday i upgraded my wiko cink king from 4.0.4 to 4.1.1. and installed cwm and rooted it ! today i tryed to make a factory reset from the settings menu so it reboted and showed the android logo with a loading shape on it and it keeps restarting again and again showing that logo! i tryed to enter to cwm but i can only access factory mode ! recovery mode wont respond ! i must fix it in 4hours before dad come home please help me people !

well i do speak french and the forum you gave e is talking about flashing my phone. and iknow how to ! but when i plug my phone to the pc it detects it and the phone shows that android logo again then shutdown ! and then it disconnects from pc and never reboot until i remove its battery then plug it again any more help ?

Do you have a custom recovery installed?
Not to be rude, because I understand that when you are in a panic, you don't always think straight, but wouldn't it make more sense to seek help on a site that actually has some development for your phone? I mean the forum I linked to is going to have more people who understand the peculiarities about the phone and since you speak French, kinda seems like it'd be more helpful.
my story well i have a problem i accidently when i was rooting my phone xperia x10 i do something wrong and my phinw wont turn on or turn off and when i try battery method it always turn on alone, i cant fix my phone but i bought it yday, i try to fix it with companion but problem is companion is asking to me to turn off the phone and press backward button etc etc but i cant do that phone automaticlly turn on when i put battery, what to do please help me ://
