Trebuchet crashing frequently. CM 10 nightly - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a solution to this error? I love the smoothness, but if i tap backbutton too often, trebuchet will crash and I have to reboot. It's very annoying. Is trebuchet posible to flash? Or do I have to flash another rom again?

Trebuchet is a launcher in development, and therefore not 100% stable!
Nova, Apex and Holo laucher HD are very good alternatives.

If you have enabled kill app by back button then it will crash by long pressing back button
I have faced the crash too but never had to reboot

anyone have this problem?

I'm running speed rom and holo locker as my lock screen, the only thing is when I'm texting or typing the multi touch bugs out. I think it's holo locker that causes it.

3rd party lockscreens cause multi touch issues. use widget locker and check "retain system keyguard" under advanced settings. problem solved :good:
yeah I remember there was an app that would cause that a long time ago, but I didn't know it was all third party launchers. thanks! ;D

Just hold you're finger over the icon then slide it up to the top to delete then to replace hold finger on an empty space on home screen and then select the app you want close it then drag the icon to the desktop bar

Thanks for the hint with Next Launcher is the best that I used (beta v4): smooth animation and fast and no lag.
I use wit cm-7-20121125-NIGHTLY official Defy+ and no crash in 2 days.

Did you only clear data or did you also clear defaults as the other user has stated?
If you do/have done so already, and it still does not show up. Download yourself a root file explorer(my favorite is still solid explorer)
Navigate to system/app directory, ensure you still have blurhome.apk under system apps. It might be accompanied by a .odex file, in which case both are needed for the app to function in an odex rom(stock )
Check permissions are all set properly. (I believe it is rw-r-r (read&write - read - read)

I know what you mean now you mean the original way the phone looked before installing go launcher if so you cant until you delete go launcher

ok both perm rw- r-- r--
dont want to delete Go Launcher, but need to get access to home launcher
An option for home launcher only pops up if you're using a custom rom so since youre stock no option for home launcher will appear. Only way you can get home launcher back is to delete go launcher
