I am from India and I have unlocked Galaxy S3. I have been hearing that Jelly Bean for S3 is out but when I check for Software Update it says the phone i already updated but its on ICS. When we will get JB ?

Four hours after idiots stop asking XDA when will they get JB update and not before .Twenty third repetitive Indian to ask this question today and not search .

Yes it is out. It will be available on kies and ota. If you're impatient check sammobile to download and flash it. Use CSC as INU.

I just got an s3. Its the i747 stock US S3. Here's what I want and need help with.
Looking to:
1. Upgrade to Stock Vanilla Jellybean. (None of the ATT poo)
2. Be able to restore as stock.
3. Not create a brick.
Can anyone point me to a guide? Im coming from the dark-side and don't know where to start.
For starters, wrong forum. Separate at&t s3 forum. This is i9300. Anything you follow here will go against point 3.

Edit - I highly recommend you do a lot of reading before you do anything to your phone or you'll break it.
Because I have accidentally locked my s4 by updating to 4.3, I now fear the s3 update! Is the bootloader still unlocked and custom roms can be flashed over the official ML2 update?
Are there any locking plans considering the s3?

Was that a typo, do you mean S3? If you do, an update wont lock the bootloader and every ROM is rootable.
Guys. He is meaning he updated his s4 to 4.3 and he thinks his boot loader is locked. Then he now fears the 4.3 update for s3 as he thinks it will lock his boot loader lol.

It sure was written kinda complicated I think...
Yes, the latest few 4.3 updates for the s4 have locked the bootloader to ensure their knox works right. So I didnt want my s3 locked too!
