I was recently replacing my Samsung Galaxy S3 charge port and the one of the pads got lifted. So does anyone have the Galaxy S3 Pin Layout for Verizon so I can just solder a wire to the other side of the board and get the phone to charge?
Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, wanted to know if it is possible to operate a Samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 tablet without battery, connecting a USB cable charger powered by a 2 amp. Thank you.

Sorry to say that I do not have a solution for you, although I do have the same question about my "old" Galaxy S5 I am converting it into a full time Kodi Media Player removing the battery would drastically reduce the heat, my device is rooted and In would be happy to crack it open and solder some connections up if that is what it takes! I will be sure to update you EK if I find a solution as I assume it would be very similar to yours.

Hello my friend. I think i have some inforamtion for you. A samsung battery usually has 3 pins. GND, BSI, V+. Generally the phone can detects if there is a battery or not, if the battery is full or empty. All these status can be determinated by the BSI pin of the battery. BSI stands for Battery Status Indicator or Battery System Indicator.
You can read more inforamtion here.
So in order to trick the phone so that it thinks there is a battery present, I think you have to bridge BSI - GND pins of your PHONE with a resistor. The problem is that you have to identify which value the resistor will have. I'm not quite sure how to do that. Maybe by measuring with a multimeter the battery's GND and BSI pins??
You can also trick your phone so that it thinks that the battery is full in order not to waste power from your usb cable to charge the battery
If you have a multimeter try to meassure GND and BSI resistance. Also give me the model of your battery, maybe i can find the battery pinout.
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920V. The phone does not turn on unless USB or wireless charger is connected. When any charger is connected, the phone charging meter displays 99% and charging. But when the charger is unplugged, the phone would just turn off. I bought it with the problem hoping that the battery was the problem. However, I already installed a new battery but the problem persists. Do you have any idea guys?
Any help guys??
Could anybody help please??
Any ideas?
Is there any magic word to have people replying to my posts?? I guess, I just can say: HELPPPPP!!!

Not possible.
By design, the S2 charges at 650mah. Anything above and you'll risk damaging your USB port or even the device.
Saber.
I changed my battery and USB port, because the battery was draining very fast and i couldnt connect to vr because of dirt inside the usb port.
now with the new battery and usb port, the phone wont charge because battery temperature is too low. i tried 3 different new batteries and 4 new different usb ports ( from local stores and amazon) but everytime the temperature was too low
Does somebody know what to do ?
I have sae problem. Have you figured it out yet, did you fix the problem?
I also have same problem on my Samsung J3 6 ... anybody know how to fix it ? Please help us .. #PRAYFORBATTERY
