The dude has 71 posts in a year. He obviously has the authority to throw these requests around.
Great. Another Stericson in training
Disclaimer: That was not a shot at Stericson.

Request? Nay, good sir. That has all the appearance of an order.

Well his count went up to 72 now so I think that qulaifies him to make orders! lol
Wait till you see what he can do when he hits a post count of 75
28 more posts makes him a senior member right?
It appears no good dead goes unpunished. The reason i posted this was to help people understand where they should be posting what. I have noticed a ton of post since the release of the EVO 3d that are in the wrong section. Thought the link might prove useful. Apparently its just troll food.

I know you meant well. Not picking on you. But believe me, you could sticky 10 of these things up top and it's still going to happen. Every section of every forum is like that. +1 for effort tho

I'd recommend posting in the rom thread since ics isn't official yet
And double posting won't help any more than a single post. Might even hurt us liking you.

Every so often when I'm doing different things i see lookout fc. Haven't been able to narrow it down yet. Anyone else seeing this? Trying to determine if its hardware or software conflict seeing as the Q just came out.

Don't know if you noticed but you're in the wrong device forum.. lol. Anyway it might be a software conflicting with something.

Pretty sure photon q doesn't have a dedicated forum yet so people are just backpacking on us for a while. We had to do this for a bit before they gave us photon users a dedicated forum.
But to respond to your question.. there was a recent study done of the reliability and effectiveness of android anti viruses. Lookout actually ranked pretty low. The one that came in first place out of the 20 tested was Kaspersky's mobile version. Perhaps try it out and see if it works better for you.
Acvice, I see your point but I think it would still make more sense to post in the right forum so that other members could benefit. Just sayin lol.. OP you don't have a tasker running do you?

What I mean was, there literally isn't a Photon Q forum at all.

Hi,
I need 10 posts to report a bug in dev section, this seems for me pretty sensless >_>?
Instead of complaining about the initial posts you need to post outside of general, you could always create a thread in general explaining the bug and somebody else could report it for you. Alternatively, you can also pm the dev of the software you have a bug on.

How exactly is it unfair? It helps to prevent trolling. Sorry if you don't like it. Nobody is forcing you to be an xda member.

Okay buddy don't get that much angry, and it is what I feel and I said that.
Everyone loves XDA and I too have been following it since 2011.

I'm not angry, I just think it's a stupid thing to complain about. I don't think the requirement is over the top.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Could be over the top for you but think if someone is stuck badly and needs to ask for help from a particular ROM's users then he will have to make 10 posts and that too after time intervals. In most cases his first ten posts would be useless just to bypass that restriction.

Why could this person not pm the dev directly?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Because developer alone cannot solve everyone's problems and pm are not liked by all the developers. A problem can be better solved by community together rather than a single developer who may or may not read the pm for days whereas atleast few members on thread will in some hours.
Sent from my LT26ii using xda app-developers app
I find most devs to be pretty responsive, and I doubt the rule will ever change because it does more good than bad. At least you must be quite a bit closer to your 10 posts thanks to this thread.
