I think this is a bug in my rom but there is no update for this rom give because I work at another moment.
More details in the next few days.
I have solved the problem. I install a lock software instead of the system's locker, so it can wake and unlock.
Its sure the problem came maybe from software or library but i dont give a time too look about it
if lock software work then we push it on newer release

The problem can also be fixed installing LoadMonitor (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.landak.loadmon) and enabling WakeLock from the preferences :good:
I have to ask something.. I've just installed on my Wave the Turko CFW V8, and now i'd like to put this android system on the phone. But when i connect it, PC tells me that i've only 410 Mb of free space. But the Android files are 625 Mb. Then, those are my questions:
1) Turko V8's fota and boot support android system or i've to use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901022
2) Before installing Turko V8 i didn't make an Hard Reset.. I've to do that?
3) The Osp folder does not exist on the phone, i've to create it? And expecially, how can i put files there if i haven't sufficient free space?
Thanks in advance for your help!!

1.Copy System.img and zimage to phone memory (410mb)
2.TurkoCFW supports latest fota and bootloader no more need to flash again
3.Not needed
4.You can see OSP folder while connecting your phone to PC with USB (Kies Mode)
Thank you very much hero355, i really appreciate your help!!
But i've found 2 bugs (i think) on this android ROM:
1) The system can't see my external SD card.
2) The folder "sdcard" in "/mnt" doesn't work as well. Here, there should be the "common" user's files, like picture, videos and music. But when i try to open it with file manager it says "The SD card is not currently mounted". I can't take picture or open gallery. The system can't see user memory.. How can i solve this problem?
EDIT: No answers?
Dont hit me but i cant get it run.
Flashed the Turko V8 and tried another boot + fota too.
Is there any more Step exept copy zImage, System.img to "phone" and data.img to "OSP". OSP is always called "Folder" but meant
is the "drive" on the "Hero355" Phone? No need to create Folders or rename files?
I just dont get it. I flashed the wave several times and also had the first Froyo-Version (badadriod) on it.
And now this easy stuff just wont work. Freaking out!
Would be very nice someone could help me with it. :good:

nand version is faster.
apps dont work because the phone id is set back to S8500 (wave 1)
and apps doesnt work with that id. (like mc3)
if its again galaxy s1 (I9000) then we can install more apps.
also, overclock doesnt work with the inbuild overclocker, haven't tried yet to use other overclock apps.

Details:This is a Stock SonyEricsson 2.1 2.0.2.A.0.24 Rom(rooted with JIT v2 Enabled) baseband 2.0.49,Xrecovery installed.it has been updated now,all the previous problems, for e.g old baseband, google account problems and others have been rectified and now it is with the latest JIT v2,all the previous download links have been updated to this new ROM.
How to install:
There are two steps to install,u can opt for any of them if one does not work
1.Copy the zip file[SK_007(Stock)Rom_final-JIT-v2.zip] to the root of your sd card, then reboot into xRecovery and click intall custom zip, then select SK_007(Stock)Rom_final-JIT-v2.zip ,it will start installing it,when finished reboot your device and Voila! its done,Enjoy.....
2.After downloading [SK_007(Stock)Rom_final-JIT-v2.zip] extract it,you will find a folder named "2010-12-29.18.53.53".Copy the following folder in xrecovery/backup folder in your sd card, after that reboot your X10 into xrecovery mod and restore "2010-12-29.18.53.53",and Voila.its done,Enjoy....
3.Go in xrecovery/backup folder(u can use root explorer or u can simply plug in your X10 to your pc with sd card mounted),there will be atleast one folder in it(if u have created a any backup(if not then first reboot into xrecovery and create a backup),replace all the 4 files,i.e cache, data, nandroid, system(img) with the 4 files u find in the extracted filer(2010-12-29.18.53.53),after that reboot your X10 in xrecovery and restore that folder, and yeah it will start restoring, enjoy.
Special Note:if u ant the latest baseband then after this u also have to flash sin files using flasher gui or non gui(prefered).
Note:Though the first step sounds a bit easy but i would presonally recommend second or third step, coz it always work and you will never see MD5 mismatch.
Whats included in this Rom:
1.It is based on the latest 2.0.2.A.0.24 Rom
(Firmware version 2.1-rooted-zdz)
(Baseband version 2.0.4.9)
(Kernel version 2.6.29
[email protected]#1)
2.Off course it is rooted
3.it is latest JIT v2 enabled(previously it was JIT v1 enabled)now you can get a score of upto 35 Mflops in linpack
4.latest market
4.What else can be in it as it is a stock ROM and i created it only coz some people asked me to do so....

2) can we get some screen shots please!?
3) what screen lock are you using?
So all you've done is mirror this thread - Generic 2.0.2.A.0.24 firmware (21/12/2010) | rooted | for xRecovery + X10flasher?

Uploaded by viperd using DL Desire Z v3.5, DL Data2SD/Ext4 v3.0
Since the DL Desire ARA v1.1 was disclosed in this thread, in order not to cause more confusion, have to release it before my plan.
v2.0 is based on Desire HD 1.72, and themed similar to Coredroid.
v1.0 is based on Desire HD 1.84, pure stock version, and actually, the base is much newer and advance than v2.0
Btw, my focus is still on desire z, if you want prompt support or have problem with this build, suggest you try rafpigna or markinus or imilka's, they are all excellent dhd builds.
If you have problem, please post to my test place or ask my testers, I may not be able to visit this thread frequently.
to my testers, I don't mind you disclose my test place to others as long as they are kind enough.

Features:
All my new builds have the following features:
1. All in one package, can be flashed to Nand or boot from SD or Load from Magldr.
2. All the build is squashed, once set the swap_mode=2, can delete the squashed.sqsh file from /system to release 160M space from system, but you must keep the swap_mode=2 untouched.
3. All the build can use Update_DL to update or change anything you want.
4. Equipped with DL Data2SD/Ext4 v3.0 developed by myself and freak, with following features:
-- auto detect and make use of your 2nd and 3rd partitions with high performance
-- auto convert the system.img to system.ext2 for SD/MAGLDR
-- auto partitioning your SD Card once set the format_ext4=9 (need test).
-- format 2nd partition with proper block size of ext4 with format_ext4=1, which is used for data partition
-- change ppp/rmnet with ppp_mode=0 or 1.
-- set you gps zone with gps_zone="your country code"
-- can use Update_DL to update system incrementally, all the Update_DL plugin I previous published(backup/restore, secue) is still applicable
-- the backup/restore can backup and then restore your whole system including: settings, sms, email, etc, you even can use this to migrate your data.img to ext4(set data_img=1 to use data.img and do the backup, and then set the data_img=0 to use the ext4 and do the restore.)
-- once you encounter the boot loop and FC, you can use the rescue plugin to rescue your system.
-- we are now testing the next version of our Data2SD/Ext4 which is more intelligent, can even detect where the system is loaded from(nand, magldr or sd), and your mobile type(EU modal or Tmous) to choose the best settings automatically.
Actually, many builds in this forum adopt part or full of our initrd to provide the high performance ext4 support.

How to install
For Nand:
just extract the Desire_DL and Update_DL(for upgrade) folder from the package to the root of your SDCard, flash.
change the config.txt.nand to config.txt and modify the config in it.
For SD/MAGLDR:
just extract the Desire_DL and Update_DL(for upgrade) folder from the package to the root of your SDCard, answer yes when ask for overwrite.
change the config.txt.sd to config.txt and modify the config in it. (Nand)
or change the config.txt.magldr to config.txt and modify the config in it. (Magldr)
If you encounter mobile data issue, please check here
The first boot will take a very long time, especially for SD/MAGLDR due to system will convert the system.img to system.ext2, need 10-20 mins depends on the speed of your SDCard.
After the install, please reboot your system at lease twice to let the system settle down.
Suggestion changing the kernel to gpc if you encounter any issue.

How to upgrade or change kernel or customize the system
1. more kernel can be found here,
--a. For Nand, just extract the Update_DL folder to the root of your sdcard, boot twice.
--b. For SD, extract the Update_DL folder to the root of your sdcard, and copy the zImage file from /Update_DL/update/kernel_files to Desire_DL, boot.
--c. You can also use the same kernel package, but replace the kernel file with your own under /Update_DL/update/kernel_files. (for SD/Magldr version, the zImage file should be put under Desire_DL)
2. for system upgrade or bugfix, extract the Update_DL folder from a update package to the root of your sdcard, reboot.
3. if you intend to replace any file from the system, use rootexplorer to delete the target file first, then put the file to /Update_DL/root/system..., e.g, if you want to change the framework.res, just delete the origin file from /system/framework, then, put your own file under /Update_DL/root/system/framework, boot.

Hallo, master!
firts of all many thanks for your big and amazing work!
sorry for the stupid question, but if I have installed your DL DesireZ v.3.4, now may just put into the sd root the DL DesireHD Update_DL folder?
and the other folder zipped in (called Desire_DL)??
I'v tested the 1.1 now, and there is stil no mobil-data by me
wifi and all other, I tested runs best.
I started from WinMob in the normal way
what is this??can anyone here tell me??..
Haha, I never think of ppl want so many builds, so unfortunately, you can only run one of my build at one time and rename the other.

oh... can't be that long, should not more than 15min, maybe you will have to check your SDCard.
or just remove the battery and reload it again.
If still have problem, delete the system.ext2 in the Desire_DL and let system regenerate it.
Are there any major differences between this and DesireZ? Obviously this won't rotate at the homescreen(which I like) but what about other things?
Forget it, I'm gonna try it anyways I'm also trying the new format_ext4=9. I'm using a 2GB SD card, I'm curious to see how well/bad it works. I'm gonna wait about 20 minutes for the boot, if it doesn't finish then I'm rebooting.
Good build but with MAGLDR it is giving me a very bad wake up lag of 5-10 second. Rest everything is fine.
I bring you an eclair rom on baseband .67. It has a couple of tweaks... more to come. it is edited and has some of my usual flavor in a rom. for those that care about quadrant it gets in the 800's... this is actually a base to work on a dual boot rom and has market and several gapps apks... small size and smooth. Use at your own risk as I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone.

data partition either eliminate completely i.e. edit the boot.img file init.rc
or create a simple 100 MB file 100 seems to be the idea value that worked for me
and system i am down to 175 MB and going down.... Will post my system.ext2 once i have some stable one.

I am plaining on removing everything and just use it for camera.
sort of a widget on my normal screen to boot to camera mode.
and camera mode being this custom rom.... that smallest image could be camera alternative for all till we get gingerbread.

you can use any thing I post up here if you want... I am working on a slimmer one and will have it done by the end of the weekend. just use any bb changer to add files for bb you want. I think this one will be stable has jit2 and has some tweaked libs from other roms in it.
posting rom in a few minutes
i am using it as a regular rom first to see how stable it is... And it is down to 153mb with some gaps installed
cheers
ps.. don't forget you can edit any image in any file to gain size also
@rdannar
looking at ur modified OP i am slightly confused...
u want to use the ROM u release here as a base rom? or as the one inside the .ext2 files?
also the boot.img provided by Z will not work on bb2.1.67... unless u strip out the ramdisk and use only that to boot...

also i my stripping is down to 160 MB right now hope i could go more down and then will post all updates as a new thread...

that way it will be lot easier to follow... and will keep all relevant info at one place...

@rdannar,

3) market
Rdannar, you could do with the ARC data/wifi icons etc.
Ill see if i can get these!

Since zdzihu wanted to encourage devs & users to switch to new xRecovery I am releasing this proof-of-concept as an Edify update.zip compatible with xRecovery v1.0.0… the concept being that we can convert ANY rom’s (nandroid/recovery) backup to dual boot image (yaffs to ext2 img) which actually boots!!!!
Also I am not saying that this is the only way but rather that this is the way I achieved it…
A BIG THANK YOU TO ZDZIHU FOR GIVING US THIS NEW TOOL TO PLAY WITH
all credits for the base 2.1.B.0.1 ROM goes to rdannar cause I have modded rdannar’s 2.1.B.0.1 ROM from this thread!!!!
THANK YOU rdannar for ur awesome work!!

Hi
It's a thread which collects Ubuntu stuff for SGS2 and includes some of my mods.
The content is from or based on fire314's, JDouce's and zacthespack's work. And their work is based on other people's work, so thanks everybody
Why is it better, than the sources I used?
-it's up to date
-works
-smallest download size
-less space required on sd/internal storage
-very detailed instructions
Why to use Ubuntu on an Android phone?
Why to overclock?! Just because we can do it To show off
And you can use Chromium browser to browse the web, you can edit documents in Open/Libre Office, etc.

I recommend this Lubuntu img, made by zacthespack, edited by me.
It's less than 500MB to download, 1800MB img file size on the phone, and sports LXDE (leightweight desktop):
Filehosting.org
Ubuntu One
Dropbox
Google docs
It is the necessery script to run Ununtu/Lubuntu, made by fire314:
ubi.sh
Ubuntu One
Dropbox
It is an Ubuntu img (Gnome desktop), made by JDouce, modded by me.
It's almost 1GB to download and 2,5 or 3GB (I don't remember) on the phone:
Depostie Files
Fileserve
Then, there is the one made by JDouce without any mod.
Almost 1,5GB to download in 2 parts, and 3,5GB (as I remember) on the phone:
Part 1
Part 2
The original from zacthespack:
Link to he's thread
He works on it, and uploads new versions, so no need to place a link for the file itself.
There are 2 versions now:
Ubuntu - 1,5GB to download and 3,5GB on phone
Lubuntu - 500MB to download and 2,5GB on phone
Instructions:
1. Choose one of the images (will add more later) and download it, and get the script aswell
2. Unzip ubuntu.img and copy it and ubi.sh to your sdcard or internal storage, both files to the same folder
3. Open a terminal emulator and type:
su
Accept root permission request if appears, then type:
cd (name of the place where the files are. Example: cd /sdcard)
You can check if the files are there by typing „ls”. If everything is fine, than type:
sh ubi.sh
like this:
and if everything is fine you get this:
4.Open a VNC client and fill out the following
password: ubuntu
address: localhost
port: 5900
set colors to 24bit
5. Hit Connect button
6. Now you should set the "mouse"
touch Menu button
Input mode
Touchpad
Turning it off:
In the VNC client:
touch Menu button
Disconnect
In the terminal emulator:
touch Menu button
Close window
accept it
You can add, delete programs in Synaptic.
If you want to start Lubuntu/Ubuntu anytime, just do the 3rd and 4th steps ; )
I didn't do much. I just made some small changes. All the credits go to zacthespack, JDouce and fire314.
I know, that JDouce has a thread, but he doesn't do much nowadays. He edited the OP more than 5 months ago. And I think it's such a fun, that it deserves some more attention.
Troubleshooting:
If it doesn't start after step 4, or your phone reboots after step 3:
change kernel!
Siyah 2.6.8 changelog:
-fixed the bug which prevented using ubuntu and was causing some random reboots...
so earlier versions doesn't work
If it starts, but the mouse pointer doesn't move:
check the step 6 in the OP
If you can't read or mount the sdcard/internal storeage after turning Ubuntu off:
reboot
Download links are up!
Let me know which one is the fastest and where would you like to see the next versions uploaded.
And if you have any question or suggestion, don't hold it back

I am looking for a way to get Asus Transformer Prime capable of developing Android Apps, so it might not just be funny, but also very useful
I did try to see if I could make my SGS2 dual boot, but it did not work for me so far. And I am not sure I would want this as the phones OS, although it is temping if it can also use one of those Android App players that seems to be in development. I am not sure if they are even trying to target Linux though.
But the possiblities of Linux on Android hardware is.... mindbogging

holly crap...already got system dump for Tab S? how did you get that?:good:
First of all, thank you for this little mod. It's a pretty one ;]
Second: I use Note 12.2, I know it's 10.1 thread, however i followed the link in 12.2's topic, also i think this might be important for other 2014 Note's users as well, as the devices hardware is almost equal. See below for details.
So... Flashable zip DOES NOT work out-of-the-box on my SM-P905 (Note Pro 12.2 LTE / Qualcomm cpu based) running stock (but: deodexed, rooted, heavily debloated...) 4.4.2 firmware.
Boot animation does not show up at all, there is only Tab S booting sound in background, but tablet keeps displaying bootloader screen all the time, until Android is booted (it does not cause bootloop, fortunately).
After running bootanimation binary thru terminal the animation does not show, too (and it showed up on a genuine config!), and the shell outputs some warnings about unoptimized libraries to stderr.
In my opinion, there might be some difference between exynos/mali and qualcomm/adreno libraries/binaries (there are A LOT of differences related to other system components and even system structure itself...), and the ones provided within a zip do not comply with qualcomm hardware/other system components, resulting in lack of graphics. I bet it's a library file, as it has different size (it is... 4 bytes smaller on stock rom), although I didn't compare the binaries size... Please note that it is possible that the issue MAY apply to P605 users too, as well as other LTE/qcom tabs (note thet this is only a guess, based on my own experiences...). It would be a good idea to provide some backup/restore solution or at least tutorial, until further tests on LTE devices are made; fortunately, I have backed up all the essential files, ie. media components, lib and binaries before flashing your zip, but if someone didn't, he may be forced to flash system image/restore whole system nand backup to revive the bootanim back to life...
And what's important, the fix for the lack of display is more than simple. I have restored /system/lib and /system/bin stuff back to my stock ones, leaving only provided Tab S stuff in /system/media dir. After rebooting... voila! It works!
Quick summary: at least on Note 12.2 LTE, swapping /system/media files only is enough to make Tab S bootanim work. Moreover, swapping /system/bin and lib files breaks the bootanimation visual output.
I have a question, also. I wonder if there are any differences in Tab S charging screen (the one that shows up when device is connected to charger but powered off) and if so, are you able to provide necessary files (AFAIR the charging "animation" is triggered by playlpm binary + some other /system/media files, but not sure here, too).
Thank you for your patience.

Hi
I dont have custom recovery for flashing. Do i just copy and paste the 3 system/media files (after backing up original files) and then reboot? If not, could you please post the necessary system files for copy and pasting? I am using P605 LTE.

At least on P905 (the same hardware as P605), overwriting /system/media files with the ones manually extracted from the (flashable) zip file is absolutely working fine and the old bootanim will be replaced by a new one. Just don't forget to check if the file permissions weren't messed up during the operation (644 are a good ones...).
Offtopic: Ofc you shall perform changes to system, so nand backup is still recommended. If you do not want to keep custom recovery during everyday use for any reason, but you have the possibility of flashing it when needeed, at least temporarily for a time needed to restore backup, you may want to check out Onandroid Backup solution (look for it @ xda/GPlay), which lets you creating both cwm and twrp compatibile nand backups directly from Android booted up and running.
Thanks!
