I havent had that problem at all.....but all messages come through fine.....try searching the thread itself to see if anyone is having that problem and if they were able to fix it.

Make sure that integration hasn't taken over completely, gvoice has the option to reroute all messages to just the gvoice app

Issues with Google voice

Hello, it seems that I've run into an issue that has got me stumped. I'm running flapjaxxs IMM76D build 5 rom and cannot get Google voice to become my voicemail provider. Every darn time I try I get an error about a forwarding issue. Here's a screen shot
I've tried reinstalling clearing caches to no avail. I Even cleared the data for call settings apk . Would anyone like go share insights on what it could be? I have never had this issue, I like this rom for its stock look so I dont want to try and switch.

It should still work. When you get to the part where it gives you the option to "Configure," hit skip. It will finish logging you in. It will still become your primary voicemail provider, it will just be done using a forwarding number. Every time a call goes to voicemail, it does a quick call forward to a number assigned to your account my Google. The voicemail is recorded here. This would also be the number you would use if you use Google Voice to make phone calls.
Your voicemails will still appear in the Google Voice App & Widget. Nothing will be different from your perspective. It will all be behind the scenes stuff that makes it happen. But, the lack on configuring with your device won't effect you ability to use Google Voice as your primary mailbox for voicemail.
It doesn't work. It still gets directed to my att voicemail and voicemails are still being recorded on my att voicemail.

I actually ran into this exact issue yesterday, and its an easy fix.
Just log into Google Voice on your PC, and under settings, unassociate your phone with Google Voice, then Re-Associate it.
Google will give you the string of characters to enter in and it will work. I can confirm using the Note's interface to do it will not stick.
Got it! Thanks .

And the part where it says use PC to sign in. I used the web browser on my phone and got the same results.

[Q] Google Voice Wrking for Anyone?

Google voice isn't give me voicemail notifications and app settings are fine. In voicemail settings, it says iconditional forwarding unsuccessful. I tried that manual way where it starts with **004 but that didn't make a difference. Any ideas? Thanks.
I still don't think this has been resolved, or really even addressed, yet.

It's funny how GV App has remain buggy and featureless. I wonder why the hell Google doesn't fix it and gives it a major overhaul like all their other apps. Like for instance I've always wondered why don't they include in-app purchasing capabilities for when you want to top off your account for international calling.... that's just messed up.
Google should really pay attention to that app, many people use this service and deserve something better.
GV works fine for me. You need to be post-paid. Pre-paid doesn't have call forwarding.
I have post paid
So do I, so that's certainly not the issue.

I got it to work by manually doing call forwarding to my GV number, only to see it switch back a couple days later. I believe it had to do with using T-mobile's WiFi calling, but I can't say for certain.

[Q] Viper DNA not getting picture messages (stock mms)

Has anyone else ever had troubles getting and sending picture messages on their DNA with the Viper rom running the stock message app? I dont like any other apps managing my messages so I try to use the stock HTC text messenger.
When I get a picture message is just says NULL Downloading 0kb of 0kb. And will never download. Sending a picture will always say sending but never send. I have had a time where it sent a picture a week later randomly. I am hoping it could be an easy fix that doesnt include using a 3rd party app that just takes up my needed space.
Any ideas?
Did u clean flash and wipe and factory restore before flashing viper? It shouldn't be doing that I flashed viper DNA many of times when going back when I didn't like the Rom that I just flashed and never had that issue! I'm always sending and receiving pics, and mms from family!
Viper DNA, s_off DLX
Yes I did but I might go home and back up TB and TWRP and then reinstall and see if that can fix it.
I used clock work Rom manager why don't you give that a try I had issues with tw

Has anyone found a fix for MMS on Viper for the droid DNA? I'm still not receiving and mms. I clean flashed twice, first time I only installed HTC messaging app and second time I didn't install either. I'm using go sms. Any ideas?

[Q] Help - MyUI v5 no SMS text inbound (vm cdma)

Can't figure out why I can't receive sms text messages when outbound text/call are OK. I disabled the firewall & added phone #'s to the whitelist for approved inbound calls/texts. Performed a format and full wipes on install of this ROM, no probs during install either. This is the Filename: MIUI_3.7.12_SHOOTERS_DH.zip universal version (gsm/cdma) found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2047911&highlight=mms+fix from digitalhigh.
I selected the virgin mobile and buttered toast options on install. No other probs found. Only oddity is no app drawer apparent.
Regards,
Marz
There is no app drawer in miui. Its very iphoneish. Try downloading chomp and sending sms through that. I know my phone does the same thing your talking about but on Cricket.

Thanks, I tried Chomp but still can only send outbound texts. I feel it may be related to either permissions or a firewall; but I've looked without success for any related apps. I've used the bt kernel before w/o problems so I'm stumped for the moment.

same problem here in orlando, mms on note3 and s3 will try to send wheel just keeps spinning and will say failed, but the person I sent mms to will get message 5 times, I am on boost, apn 32030
Just to update. I found out that Google voice was causing my problem. Don't know why though. On my old HTC evo 4G I never had this problem with Google voice.
Sent from my SM-N900P using xda app-developers app
Edit: Since disconnecting Google voice from my account I am now able to receive mms, but am still having the issue where when I send an MMS the message will send but my phone will show that it failed and repeatedly sends the message. Using stock messaging app.
