Question about super nexus rom - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sup people
I've loaded the nexus jellybean rom with the siyah kernel got A few questions
1. Does the motion sensors not work with this rom?
2. Is there no way to select a custom font installed?
3. If I was to go back to stock rom will the siyah kernel work with it?
Thanks

I really want to help but unfortunately i don't know what to help you on:
But:
1: Did you install the ROM/kernel properly?
2: Did you try re-installing?
3: Did you try flashing stock firmware than Wolfbreak's ROM.
4. Did it work on stock kernel?
5. DID YOU MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOADED THE RIGHT 3.60 KERNEL BECAUSE GORO PUT THE WRONG LINK? (oops caps)
Download the goro kernel again and flash it HERE
Hope this helps
Hello thank you for your reponse, indeed I tried some thing, and with the good kernel .
I have try:
- to make a fresh instalation of bb.67 and of the ROM tw008, then of the custom kernel 360 (by trying all the camera resolution, and play on frequence cpu, anything has to make its not working). I have not try to make a fresh installation of firmware via SEUS (I try it now!!)
-Camera is completely functional with the stock kernel , with z's custom kernel (22,23,05) and with custom kernel 3.47 when i was on tw7 bb52, but I prefere the ck 360 for the underclock and bb.67
- with and without the theme which I use
And camera make always her tantrums
Well I try the fraiche installation firmware and I informed
Works fine for me and everyone else using it...
Must be something you're doing
Just for information if it can help to resolve the problem, when I takes a photo the image gallery makes an black screen and when I want to pass in video mode the application makes a sudden closure
always similar after a full fresh installation of all.... i don't know what's the problem. i think i will wait a future kernel with underclocking and stay with z's kernel for the moment ,but if anyone got a idea or question about situation ...

you might be flashing the wrong version of the kernel for your rom....
it's strange because all working fine, just this problem with camera . i trying to reorganize my sd card she's in a mess... maybe it's the cause of my problem.
some opinion?
I don't think its related to the rom or custom kernel. I've had this problem on some of the custom roms I've tried. What ultimately fixed it for me is by formatting the sd card so make a backup of your entire sd card then format it.
Sent from my X10x using XDA App
Good news,
my problem is resolved. Yesterday evening I completely cleaned my card sd then I left the telephone have it reconfiguré. I remake fresh installation rom tw008 and of the custom kernel 360 and hop all work fine. I think that the problem came because I tested several applications camera, background which created several files for photos, images, because which never clean .i am finally going to be able to take advantage of quite its hey hey.
Thx all to be interested in you has my case and sorry for my bad english

Tried changing kernels? Each kernel usually has modified touch parameters.

Which one you suggest in following terms:
- Support android 4.1.1.1 RR Rom
- Keyword lagg in emails (got it now actually)
- Snappy (100% smoothness in UI/Apps explorer APEX)
- Touch accuracy without loosing touch / reg touch issues
- Rom that I can install via CWM and not ODIN
Please suggest mate,

1. Dream Kernel,Siyah are currently support JB.
2. No way till HW acc works u cant expect 100% smoothness,
3. It already has 3D performance
4. I never faced such touch issue.. Try Siyah u might get better.
5. ROM?? U already on RR rite?? U meant kernel flashable thru CWM??

2) There is no H/w ACC on 4.1.1, i thought it was added in JB?

[Q] Help me to clear up with CM

Hi all!
First of all I have bad english, and of course I'm a new guy here, in the world of customizing
Please give some info, to help to clear up my knowledge about the cyanogenmods out here. So I have an Xperia Active (2011 device). And my warranty is ended so I began to try out the custom roms and kernels. I tried some cyanogen mods and those were very good for me of course, but what I really need is to have the chance to record video files in HD. And the JB "based" CM roms not support this, I read about it why, it's clear.
But there are some ICS CM roms, the 9-serie I think. It has that function, to record in HD but only with 17-19 frames per second, so its useless. However my phone supports the 720p recording with 30 FPS. So my question is that, is there any ICS based CM rom that supports fully the camra recording out there? Or I have to live with this...
And of course theres a chance for that all the thing is my fault, so I write here how I install the ROMS:
-put ROM.zip and GAPPS.zip(compatible version ofc) on the sdcard
-flash the kernel (included in rom zip) with flashtool
-in CWM do my "full wipe":
1- In recovery go to "mount & format" and format system.
2- Format data.
3- Format cache.
4- Go to Main menu and do "Wipe data/ Restore"
5- Wipe cache partition.
6- Go to Advance and wipe calvik cache.-flash rom
-flash gapps
-reboot to system.
What roms I tried: CM 9, 9.1, and the FXP projects for these too.
Thank you in anticipation!

Hmmm...your mistaken my friends....Custom roms doesn't have anything to do with HD recording but HD recording are basically base on the kernel you use....if the kernel (custom) support HD recording, then you can record video on HD...if you kernel doesn't support it then you can't record HD with it...

So for example, I just need to find a kernel, that built for ICS and supports HD recording...Than if I would use it with a CM rom, there are good chances to it will work correct together?

bro you should be installing a ICS kernel to get it working for ICS ROMS only!! and if you want to use a CM ROM then you should use only the CM supported kernel....
in short: ICS kernels wont support CM(JB)ROMS and vice versa

Okay, thats clear, but this I mean a ICS CyanogenMod rom, like this [LwW/Mini/Mini Pro/Active] CM9.1 - FreeXperia Project [Unlocked BL] with a kernel that built for ICS (with HD recording of course  )
Or it is hardly recommended to use its own kernel?
Sorry for my weak-head

Look for Lupus Kernel (ICS), Kappa Kernel (ICS) and Mesa Hybrid ( ICS and JB ) on development section...those custom kernel will work on CM base Rom (ICS)....Some of those has HD recording enable...

[Q] Change screen colors on CM 10.2

Hey, first of all thanks alot for all the development and crazy amount of information going on in here
I have searched but unfortunately I couldn't find a solution to my problem so I'm asking here. I recently installed official Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable release on my i9300 international S3 (since CM11 gave me some bugs) and it's pretty great so far, but I've been searching a way to change the color settings of the screen. On CM there are some built in ones but I don't really like those. On the 4.3 Stock Samsung ROM there was "Professional Photo" or something like that that I did like. Does anyone know what I can do? If I understood correctly kernels can do that sort of stuff but I didn't find a kernel to suit my needs.
Thanks in advance

Yes you understood it correctly If your Planning to run a ROM based on CM Screen modes like Dynamic, Professional Photo etc Are available only through custom Kernel.
In Sammy as v all know you can change it under settings but for CM unfortunately you have to stick to Kernel Settings to do that.
Almost All popular Kernels Have that option under Screen>MDNIE mode
All you have to do is select the right kernel
Unfortunatly You asked a Question in this Thread and Also Gave an answer for the same.
Just remeber that for CM ul have to stick to some Externel Kernel as these options wont be available with stock CM 10.2 Kernel as well
Just as a recommendation give GoogyMax , Boeffla, Agni a try as these gave me really good results(Special Thx to Dev's of the same )

I've looked into GoogyMax and Boeffla but as far as I could tell they don't support color changing. If I do install them what can I do to change the colors?
And I have yet to install a kernel, does it come in a zip file that I can install in CWM?

Strange To hear that. Well ive never used Stock CM so cant Comment on that GPS issue.
As Far As Now the AOSP or AOKP Roms ive used have never Had this GPS issue. You Can Try Anyone From Below Thread (CM 10.2/1)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/10-04-index-roms-t2218825
For me i would have chosen between PACMAN PARANOID n SLIMBEAN . All are great for Daily use

Yes CM is definately Smoother than TouchWIz( Thx to Free RAM ). But Try out the ArchiDroid Stock Sammy ROM. You Might Like it for its smoothness

[Q] Which is the most simple custom rom based on stock 4.1.2

I have CyanogenMod 10.2.0, and I'm very happy whit it, but one of its little issues is it doesn't support HDMI output whit the adapter.
So, using the dual boot option in googy max kernel, I want to flash a rom (and has to be android 4.1.2), essencially just for that. Some time ago I flash the Omega rom, but couldn't make the camera work, despite of the app I used.
Which custom rom is the simpliest (is that a word?? ), smooth, stable and -camera fully functional- ?? I'm sure there's a lot, and don't want to start an eternal debate, just a short list, please
Thanks in advance.
Edit: just realiced this goes in Galaxy SIII Q&A forum, sorry for that, how can I move it?

Ok, I haven't tried those, I'll give them a try
Thanks!
But I am tempted to believe it's a kernel issue. anyone know if that could be the problem?
