I actually experienced both; and feel like 0.42 performs faster & more responsive than the 0.62. I wonder about other people's experiences & opinions... Which one would you prefer to use?

I believe this rather than being a specific question to a specific problem; it's more like a poll thread for observing people's opinion... who ever wants to participate.

I think 62 is better and smooth than 42.
Sent from my ST18i using XDA
.62 giving me great battery backup, and i dont think 42 is faster than 62.
for me .62 is smoother and better than .42... but recently i reflash .562ICS (CEurope) and i'm very happy withit... benchmarks are better than GB (3192 antutu) and all the features works like a charm... i stay on ICS
I was thinking about putting one of these on my SGS2.
Can anyone suggest either of these over the other? I know I like AOKP but what improvements has Foxhound made over AOKP?
Thanks.
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
Currently AOKP is my daily driver and I've found it to be wonderful. Haven't actually installed Foxhound yet but it is based off of Cyanogenmod and AOKP so it's bound to be good. As I understand it Foxhound's main feature is the customization options. There are several different pre-loaded themes, which skin the rest of the ROM.
Hope that helped!
Vs threads are no bueno around here

They are very different... one is a fox, the other is a unicorn
As stated, comparison threads aren't allowed here. Just read in both development threads and flash em both.

Everyone said the rule for me, but i will be nice and explain a bit more.
Really, there can never be one perfect rom for anyone. Only you can decide if you like a certain theme, and some people value certain features over others. What YOU need to do, is find out what you need the most, and then take a look at some of the ROMS out there, and find the one the fits the best.
Frankly, there are no really bad roms on this board; just some that may not be what you need.
Hi guys! I'm a fresh possessor of this awesome device. Before that I got a glorious N1.
Since few days I'm trying to decide which is the best ROM between these two.
Could u please write me a brief review and why should I choose one with the respect to the other!? Which are the pro and cont?
Thanks for your support!
... and sry 4 my bad english!
Personally if you want to stay on stock I think omega works best for me. It seems smoother and I like the themes and tweakes.
But my personal choice is XLiteRom. You can even run touchwiz if you like it gets update all the time uses the aroma launcher for tons of custimaarion and the support is top notch.

This is not part of the choices, but you should try winamlite

Closed, "Best" rom threads are prohibited on XDA as there is no such thing as a best rom, and they often lead to flaming.
Hi!
I would like to change stock ROM to anyone of these because as far as I know, they are the better ones for Neo.
Now the dilemma starts... which one? Could you post pros and cons about them?
Sent through Tapatalk
Try all of them and see for yourself, which one suits your needs best.
People have different opinions. For one can be a problem, other one can see it as a feature, if you get my idea.
For try them all properly I have to be with every one at least one week.. so it will be three weeks.
However if people who tried/use them already post their opinions, it would be easier for me choose one.

That's not how it works here mate
Normally these threads get closed
Well what's good for us maybe crap for you, is what I mean bro
neo is tiny little poo phone
Hm, I understand your point. But as I'm here long enough, I know how this kind of posts ends up. People post their opinions, in 90% they are contradictory, even for people who (as you said) used them all.
And OP(in this case you) end up confused with so many questions without answers.
Nothing personal, don't get me wrong, but my advice is try them(yes I know it takes time, it's what modding is after all, testing and trying) and find one which suits you best.
Btw 3'rd rom is totally different than 1'st and 2'nd.
Well... let me ask the question in other way...
What work and what doesn't in every one? For example I know that HDMI doesn't work in CM.
Sent through Tapatalk
In compiled roms (cm, aokp, soap) everything now works except hdmi (only jelly bean still has other issues).
Any stock based rom (spacious, Iscream, pureness, team xperia) should be able to have everything working although may not be installed by default.
As to performance that's subjective so just try them

This is a subjective question...For me,after i've tried all custom roms, stock rom (with GX homescreen and few Xperia S applications is the best).Try all of them, and see wich one suits best your needs.
you have to try some
and not all issues appear on all devices
so you have to try
for example
i have a some wifi issues on ics based roms (no hardware failure) but not all devices have it
give em a try

Why should I ask in general chat whether what I want to know is about Neo's perfomance?
If u like simply and beautiful, use Pureness...

elemenophee, I don't know why some of the experience peoples commending like ADMIN ??? !!! , If they don't want to answer this questions then be silent :-|, Let other's share there experience. They are wasting there time with useless commands. Also they don't know how to answer !!!.
My personal experience with these ROM. i would say Pureness by ThilinaC. It's stylish and faster. Also you should try MIUI which is my favorite and totally different from other ROM, but bit slow .
Just read that camera is working worse in CM or Pureness than stock.
Opinion about this? How it works in JJHybrid?

I used MIUI and with much app is not bit slow but very slow.
Pureness is very good but have more battery drain than MIUI
I prefer CM, then JJ's Hybrid and then Pureness.

First try these
If you are a bit hesitant then a) First root your phone b) Install a root uninstaller and delete the junks that keep your phone busy yet you have no use of them c) Flash some useful MODs like walkman, Xperia S lockscreen etc. and see the differences. If you are not satisfied then installing any Custom ROM is open for you.
Hi I want to know which is the best from for sola. Should be preferably bare bone and have a good battery life. I am currently on fxp 205 but the battery is not worth talking about. Rest minor things here and there are fine. I don't wanna revert to stock .110 or .154 coz even the basic functions like making a call or sending as SMS is a pain.
