I'm running the .214 leak and for some reason I can't seem to get safe strap to go into recovery? HELP!

is the splash screen coming up or does it just get skipped? Do you use gtalk? If so I can help you faster. Or you can go to the website in my signature and come in the chat I'll be there in case you show up

You can boot up though right? If you can then install recovery through the apk it sounds like its not installed

Ok, I install the apk. Then I install recovery and it says it did but it actually does not. When I reboot it does so as the normal Motorola reboot. No safe strap opportunity.

I did, not sure why its doing this, would an app keep it from doing this?

The only thing I can think of would be to sbf to .211 ics and see if you can get safe strap working there. If you can then get rid of it as well as root then install .215 in stock recovery and root/install again.

I just need a quick reply this isn't going to be an ongoing thread or anything like that. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned.

The auto update options are for apps. Not for the Market itself. So you might wanna keep your snide remarks to yourself. I'm just looking for a little help.
