Recovery? - Motorola Droid RAZR

Alright so i am on the 211 leak and I am rooted. So all I need now is a recovery so I can do some mods my phone. Can anyone post a link or give me instructions to install a custom recovery?

Safe strap issues?

I'm running the .214 leak and for some reason I can't seem to get safe strap to go into recovery? HELP!

is the splash screen coming up or does it just get skipped? Do you use gtalk? If so I can help you faster. Or you can go to the website in my signature and come in the chat I'll be there in case you show up

You can boot up though right? If you can then install recovery through the apk it sounds like its not installed

Ok, I install the apk. Then I install recovery and it says it did but it actually does not. When I reboot it does so as the normal Motorola reboot. No safe strap opportunity.

I did, not sure why its doing this, would an app keep it from doing this?

The only thing I can think of would be to sbf to .211 ics and see if you can get safe strap working there. If you can then get rid of it as well as root then install .215 in stock recovery and root/install again.

AW: Custom kernel for stock ROM??
You can't flash an Kernel with an unlockable Bootloader. Maybeeeee that's the reason why there's no really Kerneldevelopement goin on

Thanks..i was kinda wondering about that. Wasnt sure if you could or not.

Erasing the CID only allows you to flash original Moto signed Kernels (or complete Firmwares) that doesn't match with your Region (EU > CN)
This has nothing to do with the ability to flash an custom kernel.
