Need help!!!
Smashed my LCD and orded a replacement from HK. The part number they sent me was 60H00037-00M. After installing it, all I get is a white screen. Sent it back and recieved another one with the same number and again the same deal!!!
The part number Im chasing is 60H00056-00m or TX0704APAA1. I think it is a mfg by Hitachi.
I cant find anything with this part number on the net and was wondering if anyone knows if there is an equivalent that could be used insted.
Mal..
Are you sure that your connections are secure and lined up properly? I replaced the screen on my 8525 and the ribbon cable was not connected properly the first go round. It is the one with the tiny screws.

I am looking for a TX0704APAA1 for my HTC Tytn.
Apparantly this is the Hitachi model other models are also available on ebay (Samsung and Toppoly). As I understand Samsung and Toppoly are not compatible with one another apparently they use different controllers.
As for the Hitachi I have know idea whether it is compatible with Samsung or Toppoly, which is why I am on my quest after the Hitachi...
Anyone know where I can get one?
I think this one might work.

[Q] Something stuck in headphone jack?

Picked up my (new?) 32gb touchpad on the 20th and have noticed that something is broken off in the 3.5mm headphone jack. It appears to be some sort of black plastic, rendering the jack useless.
Anyone have any ideas how to go about fixing this? A co-worker of mine and I worked on it for a good 30 minutes and have had no luck. It's *very* stuck.
I'm wondering if taking off the rear cover will be helpful?
Thanks!

SM-T520 headphone jack repair

My SM-T520 seems to have a broken headphone jack. Headphones are not recognized anymore on any ROM. Did someone succesfully repaired or replaced his headphone jack connector himself or knows good spare parts for this?
Nope...mine has been broken for a while.
I looked at parts, which you can easily find, but gave up once I realized the speaker needed to be replaced with the jack, involving a lot more than I expected.
So I decided to buy Bluetooth headphones!

This guy list it on Ebay but overpriced, you can try looking somewhere for cheaper. It should not cost more than $10.

Replace it quite easy, remove 2 screws from the headphone jack, gently pry up the power and volume flex which sticks to the frame by double sided tape.
Pry up the speaker at the positions which have the arrow symbol. Reverse action for new left speaker assembly.

Back Cover Question for LG G5

Hi,
I have been reading about how to fix the GPS hardware problem which seems to be a cmmon problem with the LG G5. My first approach is to try a new back cover. I have found a "new" one for sale on popular auction site, but the case doesn't have the small wire gauze/mesh piece in the top right hand corner. Is it correct to say that this piece should be part of the rear cover?
Thanks in advance!
