Notif to work on AOSP ICS???? - HTC Rezound

Anyone think this would work on AOSP ICS? Or would it have to be ported over? The app says its JB only, but that's never stopped anyone haha!

I doubt it, since it creates the rich notifications that are new in JB.

No. It works off of the new JB notification system.

[Q] Dialer / Incoming Call Screen

Is it possible to add the CM9 Incall screen and the Incoming call screen's to a non CM9 build? I love CM9 for these 2 things alone, but can they alone be ported to run on a "stock" build?
I know there are playstore apps that "mimic" this to a degree, but they all fail in some way or another. Like when call waiting clicks in etc...
It's probably possible to do this, but not likely at all that anyone would take the time to get it to work.
There are theme options that can mimic it to a degree, but as you have experienced, they can only go but so far.
If you like the CM9 experience, why not just flash CM9?
If ur on ics rom then no its not possible..ics is no where near cm9 any mods u try from ics to cm9 will bootloop or just not work!

[Q] LED not working properly on Jelly Bean

Disclaimer: yes I'm a noob, so please be nice
I know Jelly Bean is new and everything, but honestly, the CM10 ROM that is being worked on by Emerson is really amazing, and the only main bug I have found is the lack of ability for third party apps to consistently control the notification LED.
I have Go SMS Pro, and it has the option to set different LED colors for different people (works fine on Gingerbread). Unfortunately, it doesn't work so great on Jelly Bean. I have heard a few people have had some success with LightFlow, but I can't honestly get LightFlow to work consistently either––plus it seems to drain the battery somewhat. I'd prefer just to use the stock Go SMS Pro options than another app, but if someone can get me set up properly with LightFlow that'd be cool too.
Or, could someone just PM me when the JB notification LED option gets fixed?

[Q] What is the name of the split screen mod/rom?

I had a rom installed on my Tab which allowed it to run multiple apps at the same time in a kind of split screen mode. (up to 3 apps if i remember correctly). I want to install this rom but totally forgot its name and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know the name of this rom/mod?
I don't want to hear answers like "Use overskreen"... It was true multitasking with every app supported.

Are you talking about running multiple apps side by side? There aren't any ROMs for ICS or JB that I am aware of that permit this function. I know the new Galaxy Tab Note 10.1 has this functionality and it looks wicked cool!
On the factory-based ROMs for ICS you can use widgets from the Navigation Bar that will overlay email, calendar and notes widgets on top of the app that you are in, but I'm guessing you are talking about something else.

Yes, there really was a ROM which allowes running 3 apps side by side but I don't rember if it was Gingerbread or ICS. I think it was a AOKP based ROM. I had it installed on my tablet and it worked.
Found it. It's name is Onskreen Cornerstone. And the ROM I tested was AOKP based. I think it was a build by Roman the AOKP guy.(http://onskreen.com/cornerstone/index.php)
But I sill haven't found the ROM again.

[Q] What is the most basic ROM out there?

I'm currently using SuperNexus and love it. No bloat, pretty much a raw jelly bean OS. Everything works fine. The only thing I'm missing that I really wish I had, was the notification toggles. The app store has some apps that mimic the feature but none of them work the way I like,
So, can anyone tell me which ROM is as basic as SuperNexus, but with the notification toggles integrated?
Temasek's build
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797109
I will check it out.
I'm sort of confused. A lot of ROMs say they are based off CM10. So is CM10 pretty much the pure Android OS with no extras? I can't find a feature list for CM10.
Yeah its based off AOSP, a lot roms use CM10 as a base depending on what hardware the cm10 was built for
Thanks. I will check out Temaseks in a second.
I am glad I found omega ROM v34, it's a nice try for me & I think I'm gonna stick with it..
Use CM10 for pure android experience. You can install notification toggle mod in your rom too if you only want that feature.
I'm also using SuperNexus too and is a great ROM for a pure stock android experience, I missed the notification toggles too but found this app and it does everything i want and even more check it out is called Notification Toggles

I would suggest SlimBean! It's truly Basic AOSP with the main features needed! I am loving this ROM and no bugs with it at all. Check out their thread. It is one of my favourite ROMs ever, also they update it frequently.

[Q] I want to go back to a GB ROM, but need some ICS/JB features - please advise

Hi all,
I only now use my X10 as my secondary phone - I use it when I go running to track my running stats with the GPS etc, so that if I drop it and break it, it's not a big deal!
For the last few months I've been using this AOSP 4.2.2 ROM on there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2197387
I think this ROM is amazing, but it does have a tendency to slow down to a crawl when I am out and running my Endomondo running app.
So I have decided I want a Gingerbread ROM again, probably Feralabs, but there are some features in ICS/JB that I was wondering if had been ported across?
Specifically, I want to be able to add the custom message to the home screen. I like this feature, as I can put my name and phone number in there in case I do lose the phone and anyone finds it (obviously relying on the fact that they wish to return it to me!!)
Also, I want the WiFi icon in the toolbar to have the activity arrows. In GB ROMs I've used, it's always just a static icon.
Is there any Gingerbread ROM which has a launcher which supports these two functions?
Many thanks for any advice.
Alex
Bump....nothing??
Have both those features on my XPERIA S, but don't know of any XPERIA X10i GB ROM that has those features.... and I've tried a few.
Thanks for the reply
Likewise, I also have those features on the Xperia S, but in JellyBean.
The wifi one sounds silly, but I actually rely on the activity arrows a lot as my wifi plays up so often. Whereas in Gingerbread is just sits there with the icon and you have no idea if data is being sent or received.
The message on the homescreen feature I always use in ICS/JB, it's a shame it appears it cannot be done in GB ROMs.

Not that is can't be done, just that I don't know of any GB ROM that has it.
Check X10 themes and Apps posts, you never know your luck.
