Symptom manifests after a variable period of time after initial successful WiFi connection.
Wireless AP in question is set-up with WPA2-Enterprise, PEAP/MSCHAPv2.
Does any other Xperia Go user experience the same problem? Is this confirmed by Sony? Is there a current workaround?

Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my Xperia X10i running R2BA026 build number and I wanted to know if any of you found a solution for Wi-Fi problem
I live in low signal area for T-mobile network. I connect my phone to Wi-Fi and it connect fine and I can use internet no problem. When I lose my signal to T-mobile network my Wi-Fi drops and then it reconnects when I have no signal but when my signal comes back then it disconnects again.
I tried couple of things such as changing Wi-Fi sleep policy to never, also I changed my network mode to GSM only, and also I entered static IP address for my phone and also changed settings on my ADSL router to remember my Xperia's mac address.
Is there any other way to resolve this issue without going back to older firmware?
Yes - it's a bug in the 026 build.. hopefully will be fixed in a couple of weeks when 2.1 lands..
Thanks. I really hope it does. Its such a hard bug for users, I mean you can be in middle of chat session and it disconnects then you have to restart the application.
I hope that comes out when they told us it would.End of September is close.
Apart from that phone is pretty good.
I have a problem with the Wi-Fi but it might be related to my particular device and not ROM (especially CM) related. I have the latest nightly Cm 10.1 installed.
Whenever I connect to wireless networks, whether at home, work or the coffee shop, the signal bar goes gray and then blue as it is supposed to, to indicate that it is connected to the Google services. However, after a short while, it disconnects from the Google servers (signal bar turns gray) and loses the connection to send/receive data. I have to turn the Wi-Fi off and on again in order to establish a connection. This happens every time. Does anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?
Note: I keep the Wi-Fi on during sleep setting at "Always" and I did not check the "Avoid poor connections" checkbox.
Thanks!
Hi all, I'm learning the Wifi P2P (aka Wifi Direct) android API.
I'm using an Xperia Sola as development device, but I have a problem: when I turn on Wifi Direct from system settings, it happens very often that Wifi Direct automatically turns off!
I'm on ICS stock ROM. Is this a known bug? Does exists other ROMs in which Wifi Direct is stable and fully working?
I'm not sure about this, but now I have disabled "classic" Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct seems ok (no more disconnections).
Can anyone confirm this behavior?
Hello,
since around nov. 7, when Change 117894 was merged, I have unstable connections to 802.1X Networks (WPA Enterprise, PEAP, university network, you log in with username and password). The connection is established, icons shows no traffic problems (especially no exlamaction mark), but connection is interrupted after around 7 sec, wifi symbol disappears completely.
Connection to WPA2 Personal wifi networks (password only ) is rock solid.
I don' t have an idea to provide helpful logs. Please advise. I suppose this problem also exists in the 13 release, but I admit 802.1X is not used often.
I am currently on 12.1-20151205-NIGHTLY-condor .
Best, kralo
I have been experiencing problems with my MI A3, I have had inconsistencies in the connection of the Wi-Fi, to any Wi-Fi that I connect, the connection may be bad due to latency, I will attach screenshots with the results. This did not happen to me before, and I checked with other phones the connection with the router and it is normal, it is giving me problems with my phone.
I am in the global stock rom, with the September security patch, to be more precise version V11.0.21.0.QFQMIXM. I used the MIUI 12 port and I have the same problems, why is this?
This greatly affects gaming on the phone, as well as downloads and video calls
After having switched between roms and roms doing more tests regarding the wifi, between roms with stock vendor and oss vendor, I discovered that it is about interference related to the use of the gps while the wifi is active.
The speed of the link with the Wi-Fi is greatly affected by the use of the GPS, while the GPS is completely disabled, the connection to the Wi-Fi is completely normal, the link speed does not vary and the latency or ping is correct
The strange thing is that this did not happen before, about a month ago, I could use the phone normally with the wifi network and the gps activated at the same time and the connection was normal
