What's New
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.

Hi
Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. I don't think this is an issue specific to my phone model.
I have this really annoying issue. When I go into the Android Market (or Play Store) and I look at my apps it previously showed purchased apps but now it shows all the apps I've ever installed. If I want to install an app I purchased previously I have to search through all the hundreds of apps I have ever installed!
I've tried to find a resolution via Google but I keep getting results showing how to clear market search history.
Does anyone know what I'm referring to and know how to fix this? Like I said, previously before I upgraded to ICS the market only showed installed apps and purchased apps that I haven't installed, now it shows every app I have ever installed and it seems to include apps I installed on my android tablet!
Thanks
Lee

Welcome to the new play store. This is intentional and functions the same as the iOS app store.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Its an annoying idea. We should at least have the option to turn it off. If I try an app and don't like it I uninstall it, why would I want to constantly see an app that I don't want! Haha.
I like Android because, among other things, it isn't iOS.
Thanks
Lee

Is there any way where I can see all the purchased apps in playstore?
I don't want to see any other free apps but only the purchased apps. I don't know if it is possible?

That also shows free apps that I have downloaded. Like I said I want to see only PAID apps.

Go to wallet.google.com and check your transactions. It's the only way for now until Google decides to put this functionality back in the play store.

Works great
I downloaded it and flashed, works great. i was just saying the other day it would be great to be able to remove unwanted apps from the my apps section. Also, multi select works for me. the first time i did it it gave me an error saying conection timed out then i did a single delete and the others disapeared that i tried before as well. After that i was able to select as many as i wanted to delete at once, i think at one point i had atleast 50 selected and all were removed no problem. It doesnt jump back to the begining of the list when i press back from previewing and application anymore either :good:

General UI
This has even chnged some of the general UI. When i download an application and it finishes it looks different, could be the upgrade i did to my rom but im not sure.
They fixed that bug where hitting the back button after clicking on an app from the search results list always took you to the top of the list.

Thank god, that pissed me off when I was browsing, to the fact that I RARELY browsed using the Play app, more often Appbrain.

How do you multi-select to remove several unwanted apps at once? I can only delete them 1 by 1 and the annoying thing after you remove an unwanted app it goes back to the top of the list. Thanks.
Edit: Figured it out
When i did it i just held down on the app i wanted to start with then selected others after, its like multi selecting in the gallery. the delete button is the circle with the line through it at the top right.

Why is Google allowing these applications into the play store?
On the Top New Apps section I've already found:
R**tube (Pornography)
Grooveshark (Removed from the play store already a long time ago as far as I know?)
Blackmart (Free paid apps)
Aptoide (Alternative market/free paid apps)
Facebook Hacker
YouTube Downloader (against YT TOS)

Not to mention this crap: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shinms0315.byp
Why would they ever allow something like that to be posted?

I imagine they'll get removed eventually, but would get removed sooner if people reported them. Shame you can't report apps from your browser - you have to use the app. I did report the bricking app though. That's just plain dumb, and unfortunately some people need protecting from themselves!
I see no point why we can't report apps like that from our browser. It's obviously malicious.

Obviously to destroy someone else's phone.
Well we can't do much and neither can Google as there are tons of new apps coming every day and many such malicious apps are bound to get past restrictions and be available for download.

Which is better? LG's launcher or Google Now? What features do we gain / lose from making the switch?
Well the obvious things are you loose smart card and lg health by switching to google now as well as the lg home weather widget.
