Dear all,
I am using samsung galaxy s3 , recently i observed that my wifi is not been able to operate and shows dim wifi logo ( not as bright as other GPS SOUND or SCREEN ROTATION ) and does not get activate or ON on my phone. It just shows turning ON and just remains as it is ????????
Please some one help me to find the solution for the same ..
Thanks
Backup data and factory reset first .

What ROM are you using.
If you are using Jelly Bean, try an alternative kernel. Siyah kernel latest version has the updated WiFi driver which solved all Wifi problems for me.
If all else fails, flash back to stock ICS (LG8)

i have a problem with my 3g connection in the galaxy sl i9003 ..it automatically switches off when going to deep sleep and i have to go to airplane mod or restart the phone to get it running again...its the same problem with stock rom (ddkp3) as well as in cm9 ics .. i tried many methods to solve it but in vain .......can anyone help me ?
Dear all,
I noticed that my P7510 running on ICS 4.0.4 (XWLP5) has an unstable WiFi connection when the received WiFi signal strength is not maximum (2 or 3 out of 4 bars). Connection often disappears and when trying to reconnect to the WiFi network manually, the there is no response. Turning off / on Wifi on my Tab is no solution to the problem either. Even a full reboot does not always help. I updated from HC 3.2 to ICS 4.0.4. after full flasing HC 3.2 first.
Is this a known issue? I cannot find any decent info on this. Or is there a ROM that fixes this? Please help. Thanks in advance.
I had no problem with the WiFi what so ever not with 4.04 and not with cm 10 jelly bean
Did you have that problem on 3.2?
Try and flash the official ICS from sammobile with odin
Thankfor replying. I did not have this issue HC 3.2. I went back to stock HC3.2 and updated via WiFi to official ICS v4.0.4. No official releases for my country for P7510 are available for my Tab, but other official ICS v4.0.4 versions I tried from Sammobile have same issue.
I'm thinking to go to CM 10 release, but since wiping is required and my P7510 has brick bug, I'm hesitating to do this operation.
Try the sammobile UK version that's what iam running and it had no problems
Cm10 is faster than official ics and gives u much more options It's a better experience at least for me except for a bug or tow but some people don't even notice them
About the brick bug I don't know what that is cause I had no problems wiping data so i can't help u their sorry

I already tried UK version from Sammobile, same WiFi issue when signal strength is not maximum. Regarding the brick bug: check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879941

I don't know what it's not working for you every thing oky with me
About the brick bug....... I just checked and as it turned out I too have the brick bug and I have actually ran EXPERIMENTAL-p4.zip
I have wiped the data and installed custom roms more than I can count......i don't know maybe it's over-rated or iam just lucky!!
Iam afraid to do it again now but he says here "Avoiding brick:
The only danger now seems to bi if you are on stock ICS ROM and you execute factory/data reset in Samsung recovery.
If you are using custom ROMs and CWM you should be safe because all custom ROMs/krenels have now removed mmc_cap_erase() from list of capabilities."
Iam running a custom rom so I don't know.....
My Galaxy S3 I9300 stutters when connected to Wifi and sometimes LAG the whole device. The only time the lag was removes is after a few minutes. I am using stock Android 4.1.2 Jellybean Rooted running Siyah Kernel (overclocked and undervolted) i also try the stock values in Stweaks but it doesnt solve the problem. I also flash back the stock rom again but it was no use. I tried also to turn off wifi PSM it kinda helped a bit but still lags . Im using Chrome as my browser. Pls help!!! Thanks in Advance
Hi all
Currently I am using slimkat custom rom.i have rooted my phone and flashed this rom as per the instructions..everything is working fine except my phone is not responding when I turned on wifi...I hve tried cm11 carbon slimkat and ressurection roms as well...
One thing I didnt understand is some times wifi will work but suddenly phone will stop responding after some time..and some times on turning on wifi itself phone will stop responding..
I guess this is not a hardware problem.and I have unrooted bck to official stock rom in which my wifi is working...but with custom roms am facing this issue.
Is this is a kernel issue? Can you please help me on how to reslove this??
can some one please suggest me what i can do to fix this??
