I flashed/enabled voice call "kit"and there's no other problem than the 10-30sec mute bug, which is well known.

You can flash the "enable voice call kit“. There will be no other issues than the known bugs. Anyway, you may read carefully the posts/thread to familiarize with the bugs/procedure.

i have tried many time of installing p7500xxlq8 baseband version and install modem as well, but the problem is not the modem. the problem is enable the voice call enable. I have installed stock ics 4.0.4 rom build 1 or aokp one, and it actually installed it and enable to use it but the problem is now that once i installed either one, the service of my sim card said no service. the signal bar becaome and circle with forward slash inside the circle. once i got them off by formatting again, it become the signal bar again. i think there is conflict issue between voice call software and the signal bar thing. please help me out here. thanks. i want to use it for as a phone and enable to go online.
is it normal to have ciicle icon with forward slash inside it after installing the voice call enable icon? will i enable to make call and go online?

A while back I've posted a working solution. Its an apk called "awesome on off". Even the free version of the app solves the bug.
After that, other few users had posted similar solutions that solves the bug. I'm using the abovementioned apk since then and never had that bug again.

Black Screen
Hi team, first thanks for the hard work coding .
I have an issue, I follow the steps, clean cache, wipe dev, and after the reboot I only get a black screen, ODIN is not recognizing the device and if I hook it to windows, shows me to format (F: ) the one that assigns to the device .
Seems like a brick.
Any guides here ?

I have testet all two Post on my new rootet DFP-231.
I have installed it with CWM and have test with Auto Recorder and Total Recorder.
No chance, i only hear my voice, but not the other...
Put that issue at the helpforum of Killermobile. They are quick and I think they have a solution for your Defy+
I have seen, when i install the files on CWM, then comes this error:
Installing: /sdcard/Download/auto_recorder_fix.zip
Finding update package...
Verifying update package...
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
So, can i change the libs manually?
EDIT: ITS OK!!!
I have switch the signature verfication off, then copy the file and the call recorder is good!

My Xperia S can't install Apk except from market.
When I try to install one apk from Internal memory or after I receveid it by Bluetooth if I push the install button on screen it doesn't work like if is not a touch screen.Naturally in that area touch always work in any other situation and during install actions if I touch the cancell button all work and I cancell the operation,as expected.Someone have a idea that can help me?

P.s. Naturally I flagged the "ok to install non market applications" in the setting menu of mobile phone.
Whenever mobile gets heated up some parts of the touch wont work i too had same experience.Install when your mobile is in stable temperature

anadarco7 did make a valid point actually. You have a touch screen issue when it comes to installing apks, which can be caused by being over-heated.
When I says to Install or Cancel the apk, cancel it and find the apk manually through a file manager like AndroZip. Try installing it from in there instead. It might work

Thanks,but what you write is what I do,with astro,oi file manager and other 3-4 file manger.I found this problem only with xperia s not for exsample with x10,my last phone.For the heat problem is not possible,because only in the moment of click "install" doesn't work,but if I cancel the touch screen is perfect in that area,this at 25°-30°-35°-44° Celsius (my phone never go over 44°)so is not an "heat trouble".

Problem solved: the screen filter app blocked the installation. After I have switched it off I was bale to install any 3rd party apk file.

ahaq is this your guide as I notice your name appears to bear some relationship to the writer's ?
The moboot is outdated , the rom and gapps should be renamed to begin update- then they won't need to be installed after boot.
Not sure about using a Rom that the developer has said will not be regularly updated and doesn't actually include camera and gallery .
I hope the writer of the article got oats permission to use his Rom and links.
Otherwise a well written piece .

Ok I found 3.8 Moboot out there so I'm good there. I have several different files and believe I'm going to go forward with 12/22 Build but would like to known what to rename them too so everything is autoamated.

If your installing via your recovery cwm or TWRP you don't need to rename anything it's only necessary when using acme and a cminstall folder.

I am not saying it's a bad rom, just oats has said it won't be updated unless there are major changes. There are several different Roms in the developer's section . You should try them for yourself but I would suggest that unless you put links to the developer's thread that you are best of using ones that updates can easily be checked for with something like Goo Manager .
One question from me when I right click on my Palm ,Inc folder I do not see an option for command prompt ,how do I enable it running Windows 8?(Solved )

Hey Guys,
I soft bricked my phone before but had my EFS backed up, restored it and now it works again. (I wiped everything off my phone I think)
I installed liquidsmooths 4.2.2 rom and when I uninstall apps now, this error message always pops up although the app still gets uninstalled.
cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist
What does it mean?
Also now some of the codes such as *#1234# to see the phones details do not work as well as the code *#7284# to access PhoneUtil to name a few.
The code to view my IMEI no. works though.
Another question I have is that my phone use to register I think 13.6GB or 14.9GB (something like this, but it was 100% more than 11GB) before I soft bricked it. But now it says I only have 11GB to use. Is there a problem with my PIT file or something?
Do I need to install the stock jellybean firmware (I believe it came from Hong Kong, 4.1.1) first or something? Not too sure why these changes occurred.

The bigger issue is that the message should not flash onto the screen and disappear so quickly you can barely read it and also should indicate how to cure it.

canvas HD is a product from a indian company Micromax. samHD is custom rom based on samsung galaxy s4. after installing this rom i was facing this whitelist error. i googled it and found this forum. pl do something...pl

To fix the : <b>cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist </b> problem as indicated in the title, it means that you have a rom that utilizes the Xposed DPI application. the error means that the application is residing on your phone but is not installed. That is why you have to go to your phone Settings, Interface, Install Xposed DPI Installer and click on install.
That will remove your cannot read /data/xposed/modules.whitelist error when removing apps from your phone.

i can't find Install Xposed DPI Installer in Settings > Interface.
i'm using CM 10.2 (Android 4.3)
I9100 LineageOS 11Everyone who play close attention to CyanogenMod would know the sad news that it is gone,The new Os is LineageOS,so i switch to LineageOS.But they are same with each other.Though KitKat was no longer support by any organization and no one build it with latest code.I think KitKat is the best Android version for our old i9100.Besides,i have cm/LineageOs code,so i build Rom by myself and share it.It will be based on latest LineageOs code,but the old is built with CyanogenMod,i will always repo source code before i build it.It is pure official code.By the way,i am even not a developer,i just repo source code then build it.I am a Chinese,with poor English,may not express my opinion correctly.you can post bugs and advise, maybe i can consider or solve it,but the probability is very low,i think?

How Long Should I Update The ROM?
as you know,cyanogenmod don't support cm11 officially anymore,many developers turn to cm14,it won't have new features just patches to the rom,such as security patch and so on.so just update it when you are all right.
What Is It Mean By "No Change Log,Monthly Build"
normally,i will check some main packages(such as framework_base,but not all) to see anything different,if it is same,i will say"No Change Log,Monthly Build"

it's ok.and doesn't matter.you are right,because it may be unsafe.but if you are using netdisk,it is a good choice to use baiduyun,it offer 2T space for free,all things you want to know should be found in Google.just wait,i will upload it after class

i don't know how,and in fact,if i want to use xda smooth,i need vpn too.360 netdisk is fine,nothing but i can't share folder.

You need to convert this thread to a devDB thread here:

Once converted, you will be given a download tab, where you can upload zips and other files for users.

I am just downloading your cm11 20160624 .
How it works:
- choosed from the op link "360yun (you must enter fc58 in the blank box)"
- then i wrote "fc58" in the box and confirmed it by pressing blue square button on the right
- then i got the cm11 file and pressed the download button with the the blue arrow pointing down.
download started
I did not have to make any login or baidu account (which i did not want to do)
Used my notebook with W-lan and yandex browser.

i forgot to multiqoute you with my post 19 in which i reported sucsessfull download of this cm11 20160624
(just looked at my download which got stuck for now (downloaded 191/205 MB rather slow an i will continue waiting for the rest)
well! download complete now!

360yun limk is:360yun,then follow the step,i am so happy that finally someone downloaded it successfully.by the way,i think you can test it and upload it to other place if you are willing to do it.
