i was wondering if homam is also developing for note2. he patched the contacts for s2, note, and s3 so that multiple contacts can be joined. was hoping he'd do the same for note2 as well. i know it was out of topic but i posted the required files in the s3 forum.

All right guys, i have searched for this topic with zero to absolutely ridiculous results. Money wise im not so up for it. but is it worth the update knowing that a new iphone is coming out, pushing Samsung for a SGS4 perhaps? i want to know what you guys think. share your thoughts with me.
Thanks in advance
Your search came back with zero because we dont allow vs. threads. If you want the phone, go but it. If you dont, then dont. If you want to talk about the GSIII then post in the GSIII forum.

Hi I have recently got a s3 and I love it, but I have just seen the functuanilty of how you can make notes and edit your calendar on the note2 can this fuctionalitly be added to the s3?
I think I may have posted the same question in the galaxy 3 section as i dident realise it was different sorry mods
Hi
it's been a week I'm looking for what is this device.
Not an SIII, I'm sure
Not a Feiteng I9300
It's certainly not an SIII i9300, nor made by Samsung. Suggest you search Google for clone images, we can't help you.

Exactly. We only know about GT-i9300's. We do not know about Xperias, HTC Ones, or Clones.
About phone may give you a clue but you need to use Google for information .
Its not an S3
Damned
I have not found anything with google and Chinese sites. This is not Feiteng, HDC ...
I'll put it in the trash
I faced three clones. One with such dual sim and two "closer to original", even with proper proportions, SIM slot etc.
This is the first one. http://www.chinaecarts.com/samsung-...nch-mtk6577-android-41-16gb-phone-p-3095.html

However I'm not sure if it's exactly this one because you know... It's China. However it looks like I found it.
There is a Chinese s3 with dual sim that isn't a clone too. Rare we see it though

I have done a lot of searching on this and everything i have found suggests this is not possible but those posts are dated I just want to be sure nothing has changed recently.
I like the stock feel of the i717 with the samsung mms app and the samsung calendar app, touchwiz, etc. There are no official samsung updates after 4.1.2, but is it possible to get the samsung apps/framework working on cm11/cm10.2/AOSP somehow? It doesn't appear that anyone is too interested in doing this, maybe because the level of difficulty, but I would just like to know if it's possible. Maybe port a rom from a newer samsung phone? If its possible but not been done yet, i'm willing to do the work if someone will just point me in the right direction. Thanks.
P.S. This is a Q&A help section and I have done proper research before asking my question. No insults about my lack of knowledge please. I'm not asking anyone to do work for me, I just want advice. Thanks.
i think the problem is that you're one of the few people who like the samsung apps. a lot of people root their phones or install custom ROMs to have the ability to remove those apps.
good luck, though.

I'm always a minority lol. And I don't like all of them, just a few. Mainly the messaging app, samsung keyboard, and the gallery. And touchwiz with landscape mod is nice too. I just like the feel of a touchwiz rom but with samsung's 18 month support policy, the i717 is left hung out to dry...I wonder how hard it would be to just back-port a i747 rom? Thanks for the reply
Hi,
I apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place and even if it's not a valid question for this site.
I need to have access to the Blackberry 10 OS to test some apps but only have the Galaxy S5 and an S3.
The S3 is rooted and so I was wondering how I would go about installing Blackberry on a Samsung Galaxy S3?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Furorian

There's no way to do that. But i think as long as your apps support android 2.3 and above. It will be good on them.
