[Q] Blackberry OS on Samsung Galaxy S3? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place and even if it's not a valid question for this site.
I need to have access to the Blackberry 10 OS to test some apps but only have the Galaxy S5 and an S3.
The S3 is rooted and so I was wondering how I would go about installing Blackberry on a Samsung Galaxy S3?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Furorian

There's no way to do that. But i think as long as your apps support android 2.3 and above. It will be good on them.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S II Vs. Samsung Galaxy S III

All right guys, i have searched for this topic with zero to absolutely ridiculous results. Money wise im not so up for it. but is it worth the update knowing that a new iphone is coming out, pushing Samsung for a SGS4 perhaps? i want to know what you guys think. share your thoughts with me.
Thanks in advance
Your search came back with zero because we dont allow vs. threads. If you want the phone, go but it. If you dont, then dont. If you want to talk about the GSIII then post in the GSIII forum.

[Q] Advice on ROM

Hi Guys, just seeking advice and possible quick answer to my question...
I have a UK Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Variant (2Gb Ram) and I am looking for a KitKat Rom with MHL Support.
I understand I could find this information by looking through the forums but I am quite busy at the moment and any help would be appreciated.
I was a keen user of stock 4.1.2, and then moved to Omni Rom... but due to lack of MHL Support I require for my AppRadio I had to switch back to 4.1.2... and luckily not to soon later 4.3 came out for the SG3 from Samsung... but the battery drain is a lot worse than Omni Rom...
So yeh any advice guys?

[Q] Root SSamsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket i727 without using PC

Hello xda-Developers FAM...Im a newbie to this, very excited to learn though. However here is my issue I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket i727, however the mini usb charging port is slightly giving some trouble when connected to a PC, and so unfortunate for me is I would really want to root my phone without the use of a PC. Please is there any way of accomplishing this?
This is the sgh-i777 forum (AT&T Galaxy SII), you may get more valid responses from the sgh-i727 skyrocket forum:

[Q] Could it be possible? Gear S to Android 2.2xxx

Hi!
Here is a webpage I found for Galaxy Gear S
They talk to upgrade from Tizen to Android 2.2? Is it possible? Am I miss reading something? Could we upgrade this to JellyBean one day?

Im sorry you fell for that. Those are scam websites that replace key words with whatever you searched for. As of right now, it is not possible to install android on anything other than an original Galaxy Gear v700.

Can it be rooted?

Hi, I'm looking into the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 via T-Mobile and would like to know if it can be rooted before purchase. I have not seen much information on it. Thank you.

I suspect that it won't be much different that the problems developers ran into with the S7 series. We will probably get a stock root but unless someone figures out the kernel issue and the unlocked bootloader we will be in the same boat.

As of right now, no. But the S8+ has root and the Note 8 is very similar.
