Just search the xda forums for the edited youtube app, it has a button that lets you download any youtube video and is right here on xda
Edit: I think it is this one you need.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529715 just install and you can use it to download.

Hey how do I download with this, I got it installed but I don't know how to download stuff:/

If its the right one (I think it is but there are two on xda) the icon for the app will have "rolle" written on it.
There is a "more" button top right of app for every video you watch and clicking it shows the download button.
Just click it when watching a video and that video will download for you.

Using the phone's browser, when I try to download from sites like Filesonic or Wupload I end up getting the file as a tiny .htm file instead of it's original intended file type. I have the app "download all" but it doesn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I have download all. Still downloads files as .htm.
And I like using the standard browser, so I would like another way of doing this without having to have Opera installed just purely for downloading from those sites.

This. It's what I use for downloading from such sites, more often than not Filesonic.
What's the easiest way to do a search of the entire phone for file names like music, apps, etc...?
Download the old apk and replace are you stock or rooted?

You must be rooted to stick if not it will stop working after each reboot, which gs3 do you have?

Hello, I have a little problem on my Samsung Galaxy S2: when I try to download any app from some pages, I am often redirected to ad.fly pages, but then everything ends: the browser says that it can not open the page. Is there a way to make ad.fly pagea to work on android?

you know, where you don't have that problem? when you download apps from the play store instead of warez sites.

Yeah, but I don't have a credit card... And I don't want to pay so much money for every app
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
As Chef_Tony suggested, discussions related to warez is not allowed. Thread closed.
When I long press an MP3 link and select "Save Link" the download is always unsuccessful. It tries for about a second then fails. This is easily accomplished using the regular browser but I'd love to use Chrome.
Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? Stock device. Not rooted.
Thank you
Try to download the mp3 by using your native stock brower

Facebook app was updated some time ago to autoplay videos. You could disable it in the app settings whereas you only have this option "disable and only play on wifi"

So you are talking about videos you need to tab and open in an app? Check you app settings and change the standard app to open.
