Hi guys, before I start talking I apologize if this is not the right section to write in ...However as my gmail app has saved my google mail password , the ebay app has saved my ebay password etc...I mean when I start the google mail app there is no need to write the password because the password is already saved by the app so the app will connect automatically to my gmail account, my question is: if someone steal my phone He would be able to recover my password and my accounts? And how I can protect my information?? I wish that this is not a stupid question but I am not pretty much experienced in this matter..Thank u and I apologize for my bad english
Put a screen lock onto your phone, and if you realize your phone got stolen change all passwords immediately

Hi There,
I have been running two gmail accounts on my HD2 for around 4 months now, and for some reason one of them isn't working. I have the passwords saved for each, and I need to retrieve the password from one but whenever I go to the settings the saved password is all in asterisks.
Obviously this is for security, and i'm assuming there is no way to reveal the password on the phone (or is there?). I was wondering if it is smart enough to recognise that it is connected to my homebase computer, and if that will allow me to access the saved passwords?
I've been looking for things like keychains etc, but I can't find anything.
Your help is very much appreciated,

just rest the password through the emai account if it is youre account !!
Hi again,
Demon Man, while i'm greatful for your help, it doesn't answer my question. I should have mentioned that I am trying to avoid resetting my password. I think the issue is with my phone, not with my email account.
Is it at all possible to reveal the password or find the password stored in my phone through my PC?

No. If you know the password, you can just retype it in and resave it. If you are fishing for a way to break into someone else's email through their phone, you won't get any help here.

Change Password
First change your Google account password from somewhere else
if you know your imei no call your carrier and inform them
You can try an app like Android Lost or Plan B. They can be installed after you lose your phone & will help you to try to recover it.

There is setting, you can restore your device to factory setting remotely. You need to activate thorough android device manager. It will help you to format your device remotely, may this help you.
So I haven't changed my password or anything this morning I was getting an error when trying to check my e-mail on the stock e-mail app that came on the phone (I do not like the Gmail app). It is not a password issue as I can still check my email on the Gmail app on the phone as well as if I go into the web browser it still accepts my old password.
Errors.
Server password has changed
Incorrect Username and Password
I have removed the account and tried recreating the account, I have also tried putting in the "Temp password" inside my Google account settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.
is your two step Google verification on ?
if so then you can't use your Google password directly

Yes it is, and I also did that before posting I created a temporary password for it with the 2step verification. Everything has worked fine on the app for getting my gmail until this morning. with no changes made to my passwords.
I try both my actual password and my "temp password"
Thanks for the help!
Weird, now its working didn't do anything different.
i logged into a device, which is now stolen, but today when i used Play Store, ,the device was visible there...
can it be somehow that i can logout my account from that device??
Only way is by changing your password.... And by doing that, when they try to see your emails or download something from Google play, they will get an error asking to put the new password...which that would be impossible because they don't know the new password...
