i logged into a device, which is now stolen, but today when i used Play Store, ,the device was visible there...
can it be somehow that i can logout my account from that device??
Only way is by changing your password.... And by doing that, when they try to see your emails or download something from Google play, they will get an error asking to put the new password...which that would be impossible because they don't know the new password...

Got my phone stolen..
Google doesn't give any help on removing google account.
Is there a way to remotely remove the google account from the stolen phone?
Says it's used market using my account so kinda in a hurry..
any methods will be fine.. no longer in my possession so ANYTHING!
please help..
What about changing your google password?
If you change your password, as mentioned, the account will no longer work on the phone without the new password. All of the data that has already synced will still be visible to whoever has your phone, but they will no longer be able to use your account.
Unfortunately there's probably not much else you can do. You can log into the Market on your computer and install some kind of phone tracking software, but it will have to be able to remotely enable GPS. You'll probably have to install the software before changing the password.

thanks for the advise..
as expected, google said change password as well, which I did, and they still somehow managed to access the account just yesterday.. lol..
just guess i'll have to delete it or something..
It might be worth giving this a try if you know the phone's still in use and you want to track it down!

Hi experts!
I used to have two Google accounts, one private and one for work. Unfortunately, I have been fired a month ago and I have no more access to the latter. I believe it is still active but they changed the password and I just can't login.
The problem is that all the apps registered in my Google Play under this account are not available for uninstall or update. Each time I try, I get the message "Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account."
The apps work well on the Android phone but I can't manage them. Moreover, I can't reinstall apps that I uninstalled using the disabled account. All the apps that have been installed with my private account are managed just fine.
I am using a Samsung S2 (GT-I9100) with Android 2.3.3. Google Play Store v 3.7.15.
Any clue how I can get the control back on those apps?
Thanks in advance!

This might be a dumb suggestion but if you know the username but not password then why not try the "forgot password" system most sites have.
Never needed to with play but they must on the website version have a way to recover or reset password.
Although if work paid for those apps they could in theory seek compensation if you try re accessing them.

Thanks for your suggestion. It's not dumb but since my former work Gmail account is managed by the administrator, it would be too easy if I could just reset the password myself. Anyway, my intention is not to hack the account but rather get back access to my apps.
BTW, these are not work related apps, just that when I installed them from the phone somehow, Android chose that account by default (I don't even know how). I am now stuck with no possibility to manage them.
I wonder if by deleting this account on the phone, the apps will stay installed or will be uninstalled as well.

my suggestions does not belong to hacking and software and so on but in your situation i would think about which apps u installed/owned by the corporation id on google play
cus if there are any apps wich needed any additional privat information or even have to deal wich such privacy things u might go to the administrator and say him well after the laws in this state ure not allowed to keep this information and he might will give u acces again.
its like getting a notebook by from your work and getting some private stuff on it like photos from your children..afterwards u loose ure job and they retake the notebook.
they have to give u the possibility to change or delete this information.
thats what i would do
why can't you download those same apps on your device with your private gmail account? just delete your corporate acct after you register your private acct. i' ve done multiple accts so many times.

I was just wondering if the apps will be uninstalled automatically if I delete the corporate account or if they will be stuck with the then unexisting account (on my device) with no possibility to update or uninstall them.
Any clue?
Hi guys, before I start talking I apologize if this is not the right section to write in ...However as my gmail app has saved my google mail password , the ebay app has saved my ebay password etc...I mean when I start the google mail app there is no need to write the password because the password is already saved by the app so the app will connect automatically to my gmail account, my question is: if someone steal my phone He would be able to recover my password and my accounts? And how I can protect my information?? I wish that this is not a stupid question but I am not pretty much experienced in this matter..Thank u and I apologize for my bad english
Put a screen lock onto your phone, and if you realize your phone got stolen change all passwords immediately

Hello, so okay I haven't used this phone (Sprint Samsung epic 4g touch) ever since I bought an iPhone 5. (yes I know, don't judge) and I lent it to a cousin and it got stolen. Now I want to know if there's a way to know if someone else is using the phone with my google account. I went into the play store online and downloaded some apps and apparently they installed but when I check my devices it says last activity over a few weeks ago.
So I really don't care that it's stolen, I just don't want anyone accessing my google account and email. Is a password change enough to block anyone using the phone with my google account?
Yes, just change your gmail password so they cant access your google account but if you have other sensitive data which dont connect to google account then its still can be accessed

Change Password
First change your Google account password from somewhere else
if you know your imei no call your carrier and inform them
You can try an app like Android Lost or Plan B. They can be installed after you lose your phone & will help you to try to recover it.

There is setting, you can restore your device to factory setting remotely. You need to activate thorough android device manager. It will help you to format your device remotely, may this help you.
