Hi Guys, im using an Xperia mini pro (SK17i) and i wanted to ask whick Rom and which Kernel you are using with this phone?
You can just write down Rom and Kernelname or you can explain yourself or add a positive/negative list for the rom/kernel.
I will start with this:
ROM: real ICS 6
Kernel: KRSH 3.0
real ICS:
+ nice Xperia Launcher & Widgets
+ Walkman player with Clearbass and Beats Audio
+ almost bugfree (for me. maybe you have other experiences)
- not as snappy as other Roms (example: Hyperbeancream)
- i dont really like the icons
- i dont like the background in settings menu
- it does not happen very often but sometimes i get random reebots (1x week or 1x 2weeks)
- fast battery drain with music player running
Kernel:
there isn't much i can say about it but i didnt have any problems with it!
This thread is just a thread to share youre experiences with the ROM you're using. It's also a thread where devs can see how many people are using their ROMs and what people like or don't like about their ROMs.
This thread is not a discussion about how to solve problems with the ROMs you're using!
Rom: DelliciuosSandwich v1.0
Kernel: Panic Kernel v1.25
What I love about the rom is the AOSP interface and is extremely fast, the only bad thing is that my mobile data aint working, idk if im the only one having that problem, but everything else is perfect for me

m currently using boof kernel with hybrom v16 on my sk17i firmware v .62
The new nerodroid v8 looks to be a great one in respect of looks with almost the same features (i guess)
i want to know if my battery backup n speed will be affected if i flash my sk17i with nerodroid v8?
M currently getting almost 1.5-2 day n even more at times with a use for just a few calls n game(templerun or ninjafruit) for around 30mins before sleeping...with absolutely no lags anywhere...n i seriously don't want to loose this performance for the sake of new looks of nerodroid v8
also please let me know if its possible that i just change a few files..because what more i want from nerodroid rom is only i-candy like that unlock screen thing, themes n wallpapers n rest i want ma current rom...cz its simply awsummmm....
why not just pm neroyoung & ask him buddy, i believe yhu can move some files to tha nerodroid v8 rom dem flash it with CWM...

those rom which has a kernel included in the zip means u have to use that kernel. roms that do not have kernel in zip can be used with compatible kernel depending on the base of the rom

It dose increase the Performances..
But it dose damage the Hardware.....
i Play without any OC NFSMW, Heat, Dark Knight(lags a bit)
Yes over clocking the device will improve performance..
If you want 4.1-try super jelly bean(use fusion kernel)
If 4.0 try ultimate HD 3(use night elf )
They are very good ROMs...

if u want to use the rom on your xperia mini pro !
replace his updater-script with cm10's updater script
and edit the build prop with your device name an device code where ever necessary
im using quick bean v1 on my phone.. !
and i should say the rom is very fast
