Hi, here's, yet another MEID/ESN problem:
I'm currently flashed to boost mobile, but I guess my flash wore off, because I can't call (says something cannot be verified) or text.
But, here's the weird part: I can still get perfect (but still slow) data...
If a flash wears off, doesn't data go bye bye as well?
Any advice?

Yes: Fully wipe and use another ROM. DisarmedToaster for example (see my signature). Lean back and ENJOY!

This occured suddenly or you did something?
This happened to me when I S-OFFed my EVO.
Data worked on 1X but calls/text didnt work. My carrier settings reverted to Sprint's.
Check your prl and other settings in "about phone". Are they still same , as they were when everything worked?
If you have a QPST/CDMA workshop backup, try restoring that.
This seems more of a "A-key" problem.
I resolved my issues by reflashing to my carrier using my backups and restoring A-KEY which I got from the person who flashed my EVO to another carrier.

My phone was flashed by cell bros, so I don't have any of those backups.

I flashed the UCLA radio via CMW while on ICS and it works fine. Only thing is it says unknown baseband in about phone, not that it bothers me or anything.

Where can I find this radio?
In my area, yes. Modem performance is area dependent. On ICS modem, I would constantly have no signal every 5 min or so which would kill my battery life.. On GB UCLA modem, I am constantly connected to a signal and it makes a huge difference.

Too lazy to find it on my phone, so I'll upload it when I get home. Should be an hour or two.

Enable Airplane mode until it disconnects, then disable Airplane mode. Let the phone sit and you should have data again.

Ok I got it. I had to do a complete wipe of the ics then install CLA1 by Diablo.
Hey, so I bought EVO 3D couple of days ago and when I installed silver-needle kernel, my phone crashed. When I try to turn it on, after three secs I see a title htc, after 10 more seconds it dissappears and then I see title htc again. And a phone doesnt turn on at all. Can u help me please ??!!
Sounds like a bad flash or some incompatibility with the kernel. What hboot and Rom ate you using?

Silver needle is a CDMA kernel? Never heard of it. Anyway, I did not know what type of phone since I am on Tapatalk and do not see the left sidebar or signatures.
If it is the wrong type of kernel, then a flash of the right type of kernel should fix it.

I was running Blazer Rom 1.4 and decided to check out CM9 latest nightly. I did a Nandroid, Wiped and then flashed. It seemed ok. Then I noticed I had no voice/data services at all. So I figured CM9 wasn't ready for primetime and flashed back to my nandroided backup of Blazer Rom. I still have no voice/data services. I really don't know what to do next. I have confirmed that Sprint is working in my area. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Is it finding sprint signal? You may have to call them and do a hand-free activation. I can't remember the dialpad # but what it does is reset the phone's profile data and reactivates it on your sprint number. You'll need your MSL, too.
Im seconding this and I am freaking out right now!!

You should try to ODIN back to stock.
This should also not be in DEV section, but in General. You will be blazed.
Also - I am using the CM9 and besides a FC on boot - it works great!
This happened to me before, I wasn't on CM9 but I ended up restoring the stock firmware and updated profile and PRL, then rebooted and it worked fine

Try going into the Mobile networks settings menu and just change the Network mode. Switch the setting and let it reboot, see if it helps.
I had an issue like this. If you get an error when you try to call someone let it play through and it should call sprint and they'll fix it for you. No questions asked.

Not sure what to do next. I used ODIN to load the stock Samsung ROM (KIES_HOME_L710VPALEN_L710SPRALEN_618049_REV03_user_low_ship.tar) and I still no mobile services. Is the firmware a not included in the ROM. Is it a separate flash?
Try the below, it just reset and activated my device (again, lol). No MSL# required.

In my case I believe I inadvertently installed the LG2 OTA as I was getting ready to flash a new ROM. So when the new ROM loaded it was a different firmware. It was a freakin nightmare to get things back in order and yes, the ##72786# was a huge help. I had to flash all the way back to stock recovery just to set things straight. But now at least I know to make sure the basecode matches the ROM.

Hello again. I'm here with another question from 3d land.
My EVO 3D CDMA is flashed to Boost Mobile (meid/esn was changed). I see that the new ota is available.
Is it safe to flash this firmware? Will it reset my esn/meid to the original?

did you flash yourself (have donor) or not?

Hey do u have radio disconnect like alot of us are having. Can't seem to figure this out. I have 2 EVO 3ds one is s on and has no root even on stock gingerbread. The other one is s off with cool Rom v7 with latest firmware and I still random straight to voicemail problems. When I call out it returns to normal. I'm going to try something else tomorrow I'm going to turn this phone off and turn my diner back on for the day and see if it is happening on the doner.

you can check your "accloc"...(something like that)...settings in qpst.....the lower the number, the higher priority your phone has on the tower. (2) is a good number to be set at....i think boost default is (5)

do i need to be s-off to flash the new firmware? -.- cause im s-on does this mean i cant install ics?
I have tried this on multiple ROMs and have done several complete wipes to try and fix this issue. The issue is during a phone call i sound as though I am very far away. Since this issue occurs on different ROMs, (Paranoid, CM10, MeanBean) i feel as though it may be a hardware issue with the phone itself is probably not fixable by me. Has anyone else experienced this before?
I am experiencing the same thing, every person I talk to on phone says the same thing.
Called sprint, but no help??
I wonder if flashing stock rom, updating radios, and flashing back to custom rom would help.
Anyone?

I had this problem too when I ran JellyBam 4.1.0 . So one day I cleared internal storage(which I regret), factory reset and system. I installed JellyBam 4.1.0 again and the call quality was much better than before. Word of caution:be very, very careful before you delete your internal storage. The nandroid backups for me didn't back that up...

Have you tried activating the HAC call option in the dialer settings ?? Also you can try to raise the volume threw qpst as well. Don't know if it will solve your issue but its something to give a shot.
