im pretty love the audio effect of the DSP,but the very liquid ics ROM has no such apk,
how could i add it by myself?
and what i need?
I have a flashable zip of it but there is still.more that needs to be done to the Rom in order for it to work properly. The version I have only works with the stock.music player and google play. Streaming services still do not work. I was going to mention this issue to twisted after he fixes the camcorder.

It;s suppose to work with any 4.0 rom, try and see, the worst that can happen is that it wont work, but it should.

nope, not wrking with the epsy version 12/05/29 it sounded good... seems that at the momment the only launcher working it´s trebuchet (wich it´s actually really cool) but thank you for the info... Hope it´ll woork soon.

When I used it on white rabbit it just seemed all messed up and I kept getting purple squares so I use launcher pro still for gb roms

Since no one has answered, I'll give my uneducated opinion .
I would say it won't work, but when I want to try something, I do a nandroid backup, flash it, and see what happens. If it does not work, I restore the backup.

You're right in thinking it might not work. It depends if the framework is the same between the versions so don't be surprised if it doesn't work

It will not. Different bases and versions. It would most likely force close, or if it loads force close when you try to open multitasking

This worked for our Defy. Root required for this installation, so please let superuser access granted follow with reboot once. Beats Audio icon will be always show in notification bar on top with status "ON".
Not sure about rom compatibility though.. I'm using Spear's 2.3.6 ver2.3 Razr themed rom with my own framework and settings UI modded.
Kernel used: 4.5.2-109 DHT-22.
Warning: Do backup first. This installer will installing/altering some of your system files.
Player - Power Amp 2.0.5 build488.
Headset - Sennheiser CX500 and Sony
To do - To buy Beats Audio Studio Headphone HD ..huhuhu!
Conclusion: Try it and feel it yourself and come back here with your findings.

Hello everyone. Well ICS/CM9 has got many compatible sound MODs with enhanced ALSA drivers ported from Sony. But, GB based ROMs were missing it! And since GB is stable and used by many; here it is a MOD which contains:
ALSA sound drivers ported from AC!D sound MOD
Beats Audio by RockoDev.
AudioFx Widget . Since DSP Manager FC on flashing Beats Audio, I included this equalizer.
Do a nandroid backup of the system partition before flashing this. Though it is specifically for GB based ROMs it should work with ICS too; not sure about JB! But ICS already got other awesome MODs like Awesome Beats,Ac!d.
Tips: AudioFx Widget as the name suggests is a widget! The widget settings can be done in the app. Try out this settings:
Change "Select mode" to Dialog
Change the transparency settings
I have tested this MOD with Maniac's CM7 build. So let me know if it works in other builds.. Hope you like the MOD!

Just decided to test this out of the many GB based audio mods.
Works, doesn't crash music player or anything. Dunno if there is a difference though as I never listened to music before on my cell But what I'm listening to, sounds quite good enough.
CM7.2 P500 GB works
Doesnt work on maniacs latest build. Boot loop
Good. Working in wiui gb. But i dont feel any difference when switching dolby. But equalizer is working and audio output is superb.

This mod didn't work in my Galaxy Young Duos TV (S6313T). All playing, recording and phone calls got broken.
Went back to my ROM backup.
I've heard of everything from xloud to Alva to beats bit for the longest time I've used volume + but I'm wondering how many users use which one more or maybe which one is the best for our device....I was looking for loudness and clarity

Yeah I flashed the acid engine 5.0 and now all I'm hearing is a static TV sound as if you've changed a station....even when I'm trying to change a ringtone

No build prop modifying, the result after following the installation is every sound sounds like a static TV station..no sounds work just a static sound..I've done it twice, the first time I didn't make a BU but thab I did after a clean install of hephappy final cm9

For me it was worse, I modified build.prop, installed the universall and the modified dsp manager, clean install, removed dsp before,etc and all I had was a very noise sound like when switching radio stations , If I remember correctly, I tried it on hephappy's genetics 9.1.3

I tried many mods. Im on This mod for sometime now.. and its really good.
I use it with powerAmp.
I see 90% of the people have issues with acid audio.. i wonder if it really works!!
