I've tried to port CM7 for Galaxy Pocket but it always fails with the following guidelines. Maybe you can give it a try, who knows you're going to make it. Good Luck! :good:

It requires very much knowledge of programming and the android system, so ask by a private message to a rom developer. He might be able to help you. But please dont ask him/her to make a rom for you. Have fun .
Hope i helped .

[Q] Galaxy Ace S5830 cyanogenmod 7 port

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knows anything about porting cm7 to galaxy ace. I also sent a message to admins to create a separate section for galaxy ace
totally with you!

Also interested!!!

Same here,
I would be great to have a decent ROM for galaxy ace.

nothing yet. there is also a thread in the official forum go to forum*cyanogenmod*com/topic/17550-samsung-galaxy-ace-s5830/, request it there too cause everyone seems to ignore this phone. XDA admins haven't even made a separate section for it

Its sad.i joined xda cos i just bought an ACE and we dont even have a section.Sucks!!!!
I MAY (seriously - *MAY*) get an Ace soon - if I do I'm definitely going to try and port CM7.
...
nhnt11 i hope u will make it , and u will recive big thanks from all SGA owners
+1000000000.... for u
indeed hope you will make it nhnt11 anyway every SGA owner should send about 982034584 requests to xda admins to create a separate section everyday to see what happens
First things first - the Ace doesn't have clockworkmod/similar yet, so I tried to get it working today on my friend's phone. I just need to find out how to extract the kernel from the boot partition (it doesn't use mtd :/) and then we should be able to have clockworkmod.
Well nhnt11 has already started the development of the clockworkmod recovery with my mobile. Wish him good luck. And am helping to do it with him.
# nhnt11:
Really cool, you try to port CM for our Ace. I wish you good luck and hope to get some good news soon.
I'm moderator of the Galaxy Ace-section in the biggest german Android Forum and they all want to have a ROM for the Ace, so I hope you'll have great success.
good luck man i hope i can help you during the summer cause now i'm studying and i havent got any time. cheers mate

I've looked into this. I think the best possible way to get clockworkmod is to do it the same way as they do on the Galaxy S. By packing recovery in update.zip
Haven't looked further though.

No, you can't because it designed to run bada and you need to make android rom yourself for your phone, which is not possible as it requires high technical knowledge like compiling a rom, compiling kernel for your device using source of another device! You should have good knowledge of soldering pins or wires to flash boot loader on main board by opening the phone! The results may not be guaranteed, you might also brick your cellphone.

I have no idea. You could look at other forums. This is a developers forum.
After looking at your device you will be hard pressed to find anything here for that device. Most users here dont mess with those kinds of devices.
You will have to track down the stock kernel source if it was even made public and then dig in and spend a few weeks learning to make any changes that you need and then compile the kernel with any changes you want.
Just a fair warning. Swearing in this forum is an easy way to be banned.

[Q] How to port Lollipop TouchWiz rom

Hi there everyone
I'm actually willing to create a custom rom which is based on GT-I9500 lollipop and ported SM-N910C lollipop.
I searched and tried to learn my self but didn't succeed, then I decided to try to get some help from you here, hopefully I get the required help to create my custom rom and also be able to understand any issue coming over and solve it.
I found guides to port kitkat rom and cyanogenmod based rom which are unfortunately don't match my request.
It would be much appreciated if anyone would spend some of his time to teach me, and I have the full desire to learn :good:
Thanks in advance, and thank you XDA for this great site
Reserved for in case ..
Anyone..!
Pls any help??
