Hello!!!
I did some Photoshop work and want to share it with you. Thought some "iPhone Killer" Wallpapers would be funny on Galaxy Note II.
How do you like it? Feel free to tell me some advices or wishes...
Have fun with it.

There are threads for this, no need to make a new one. I recommend reading the sticky's before posting next time.

Hi,
I have had my HD2 now for 5 months and I am loving it - but CHT 2.0 brought it to a whole new level. I have been using XDA now since I have gotten my HD2 and now I would like to give back by making widgets. I am a graphic designer and know photoshop like the back of my hand - but I have no idea how to implement images into widgets. I have searched over XDA and yes, there are threads that explain how to do it but it's written for people who sorta know what they're doing already.
Is there any chance that someone can help me and jump start my learning to create widgets either here or by pm. I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks!
I may help you, if you need me.
I have the knowledge of CHT / CHT 2.0 becuz I did some themes for myself.

Actually, XDA is not a support forum. If someone offers to help, it's because they want to; not because they have to.

You don't have to delete your post. You can ask for help, but will have better results if you don't demand it. Just some friendly advice.
The other person wasn't being rude, he was just telling you the correct section to post your question.

I understand. If a search on XDA provides no results, use Google. XDA's search engine is good, if you know how to use it. I've been using google since 2000 and almost always found what I was looking for. The key to using a search engine, is in the way you ask your questions. When you perform a search, search engines look for results matching the words in your search term. The more information you provide in your question, the more accurate the results willl be. For example:
I noticed in your OP [original post), that the information you provided was too vague. "I have a Galaxy S II"...There are several variants of this phone, so be specific. Include as much detailed information as possible in your question or search query. For example; if you're searching for a froyo style lockscreen, try this:
"froyo style lockscreen app, mod, addon, apk for the Galaxy S II i777 (or which ever variant of the SGS II you have). Google will now search indexes with those specific words. This will greatly improve your chances of finding what you are looking for.
Although XDA is not a support forum, there are a lot of people willing to help you, IF...
1. You are polite.
2. If you've demonstrated that you have tried to help yourself BEFORE asking your question, by including what steps you took to find a resolution. People are more willing to help you, if they know you have first tried helping yourself.
3. You don't come across with an attitude of entitlement.
4. That your question is well thought out; including accurate detailed information.
5. Use the thanks button for those who have helped, even if their answer wasn't the one you were looking for. Afterall, they were kind enough to help the first place.
The thanks button is there as a way to show your appreciation. If soneone took the time to help you; thank them for it.

You're welcome friend. If you ever need help, just ask. Nobody should ever be treated with disrespect for asking questions or making mistakes. Just take time to read and research before asking for help. And if anybody flames you, or insults you, report that person, because that is against the rules.
Best of wishes.

Hi everybody, as you will probably know itasoulas dropped the support to his ROM because of noobs mobbing him.
This thread is only meant to thank him for all he has done.
Personally I hope he will think about it and come back but it's all up to him.
Please, do not insult noobs or be vulgar in this thread, just show itasoulas that we enjoyed his work as well as his enthusiasm for modding our Ace.
Thank you man...

I agree with you, Itasoula's work is awesome! Im not a noob in android, but yes in this forum, and i have read both post of both Roms from Itasoulas, and his work its awesome!!!.
Thanks a lot itasoulas for your magnific work.
itasoulas Puts way to much of his time in to a free open development for people to enjoy the bullying.
Far as iv seen and used, his work is amazing, don't see why he has left it like this.
I have been using the ROMs of itasoulas for a while now.. Miracle v4 and now Apocalypse.. Both are stunning and and excellent blend of Speed, Visual Clarity and Good Battery.. Never used a ROm before which had all 3 in one ROm.. Hats of to you itasoulas.. I hope you come back.. No other ROM is as good as the one's you have made.. Wishing you all the best in all your endeavors..
He stopped his work because of noobs .

Yeah, even if the OP says don't be vulgar to noobs it can't be evaded anyway
Apocalypse is the best CM7 ROM at the moment in my POV! So fast, very good design and the touch is reacting so good.
Most of the other ROMs a just themed CM7 ROMs. There are so much people who are adding a theme or a patch(which everyone could apply via recovery...) and then they think that they are sooo great devs. And these people are spamming the real devs out of XDA.
itasoulas has modded CM7 too, but this ROM is just GREAT!
but these **** noobs who cant search or experiment a bit are destroying good dev work! Everyone who flashes his mobile, has to experiment sometimes to get everything working.
edit: Maybe I'm not a dev, too. But I read every post and so I won't need to post every ***t.

Well you could start by searching and then by reading. That's what the majority of us had to do. It's the only way you'll learn as opposed to someone holding your hand every step of the way which wouldn't be fair on everybody else now would it?

I'd check your model number printed on the label under your battery before doing anything suggested by people.
If it is NOT GT-i9100, then do NOT follow any instructions in this forum (for i9100, specifically) unless it is noted to work for your model.
read around
do some research on your phone model first.
after that it is fairly easier to do, if its just root you're after then it is simple, if you are after a custom rom then it could be potentially difficult.
however there are step by step guides everywhere so it should be simple enough to do for you.
and with regards to jailbreaking your iphone/ipod, rooting your phone is about the same difficulty maybe slightly harder but nothing you shouldn't be able to do.
Read the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1442549stickies here
Should explain everything that you require.
