Samsung Keyboard on Stock ICS - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I like everything about the Samsung Keyboard, except for one thing. The XT9 autocorrect bar.
Is there any way to permanently make that thing stay up? It goes up and down everytime I hit space to get to the next word and it's driving me nuts.

Samsung keyboard. Bug?

hi,
i recently got my SGS II, and i really like the samsung keyboard, it is very responsive.
However i think there is a bug, im not sure, but it is very annoying
when prediction is enabled, the prediction bar keeps hiding everytime a word is selected and then re-appears when you start typing again. i didnt have the problem on any other keyboard on my nexus one.
so is this a bug, is there any way to keep the prediction bar always there as the stock android keyboard does?
The Nexus One comes with a stock Android keyboard, whilst Samsung provides SGS2 with a modified one. I've always switched to Gingerbread Keyboard from the Market when taking on a new Android phone. All issues, with prediction and haptic feedback, are non-existent.
yeah i tried smart keyboard, all is working well
i guess its a bug.
such a shame, the samsung keyboard is very nice!

Swype keyboard language switcher to left of space bar

The little language switcher button on Photons stock Swype keyboard drives me insane i bump it all the time(clumsy fingers) and it takes a while to get my keyboard back to English, is there another Swype keyboard that i can use that wont have this?! It is honestly the biggest flaw i see with this device. Or is there perhaps a few files i can edit within the phone so the button doesn't do anything? I do like the capabilities of Swype, just hate this language button, guess its what happens when i get a global phone.. Thanks!
Seconded!
I have this problem, too. And what's with the "post too short" error?

My keyboard keeps dissapearing...

Off the screen as I'm typing, not going completely.
Have swiftkey as my usual keyboard but have since tried google keyboard and lollipop123 keyboard but it does the same with those as well.
Basically, I'll be in the middle of typing something mid word/end of word/deleting... doesnt matter, and the keyboard 'closes' down and dissapears. Then re-pressing whichever text box I was in, or pressing an already typed word or anywhere does nothing and I'm waiting upto 20 seconds for the keyboard to pop back back up to carry on typing. Sometimes it doesnt do it at all and sometimes can be 3 times in one twitter comment, to use an example.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Have tried with my keyboards as normal install, a system app AND onto the SD card and nothing makes a difference.

Lollipop - suddenly fullscreen text input (white box)?!

Whenever I tap a text input field it morhps into a fullscreen white text box. This just started happening like a week ago. Historically it's always been just the keyboard popping up, with everything else looking the same.
I didn't change any settings so I'm really confused. And really, really annoyed. I can get it to work "normally" if I set Swiftkey to undocked mode, but I'd prefer not too because it makes the keyboard look ugly.
I'm running "pm disable android.com.ui" and always have (i.e before the fullscreen box started appearing), so it shouldn't be the crux, but it's worth mentioning for troubleshooting's sake I guess.
I'm rooted.
Thanks guys
EIDIT: this is swiftkey. Other keyboards aren't doing this

Is the samsung keyboard autocorrect the most annoying feature ever in a keyboard?

I just typed "dill" in my shopping list, and when I hit space, it magically changed to "fill"
Fortunately I was able to find the settings icon on the keyboard and figure out how to turn it off. This was about the umpteenth time something like this happened to me, but I wasn't absolutely sure it was the keyboard doing it till now. Hopefully it will stop now. If not, I guess I'll switch to the google keyboard.
Are there more annoying features I haven't run into yet?
If you want your keyboard to recognize the word dill, you have to click on dill when it shows at the top of keyboard then it should recognize it.
