Even though my phone is an android phone I am in love with the Windows User Interface on their mobile devices. There is a WP7 launcher called launcher 7 that I consider is the best in the market. I will confess that I have never done an android app but I would love any type of help from you guys to help me create a WP8 launcher. thank you.

No one here is going to build an app for you. Along your way, if you have an issue ask.

You can create an interface utilizing this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1386987
It will be time consuming but its perfect for your needs.
As a matter of fact I believe that someone may have already started one!

Just to be sure this is a rotation something similar to the iphone.

I feel slow by asking if this was similar to the iphone rotation, you even showed what you meant by smooth progress. But would anyone know if there was a mod of some sort to make the rotation of the screen orientation solid and smooth rather than a snap to the landscape or vice versus

Hi there,
Is it possible to install windows 8 on Samsung galaxy II?
After trying Android for the past 3 months I can surly say that it is not such good OS.
It’s full of bugs and keeps crashes all the time.
If it is not possible to install windows 8 on it will it be possible to install Symbian instead…
Regards,
Sep
Epic first post, looking forward to more from you.
No.
You have got to be joking.

At least it`s not possible now. If you want Windows 8, sell your device and buy a Windows Phone.
For me it`s the other way around, I think that Windows 8 is pretty ugly compared to Android. And Android doesn`t crash all the time, at least not on my device.

Even if it could happen, OP, it wouldn't work nearly as well as the Android OS you're trying to get rid of.

Former iOS user here mostly because of the jailbreaking abilities, since that scene is dead I've decided to give this thunderbolt a try.
Is there a cydia type app for android? I've heard of blackmarket, but I can't find a good mirror anywhere.
Thanks

No, there isn't a Cydia, but here's how you "Jailbreak" an Android:

That's standard to all of Android. Unlike iOS, stock functionality includes the ability to install applications from any source. The checkbox next to "Allow non-market apps" is usually unchecked by default, but still available to check

His problem isn't installing aftermarket apps it is getting them in a manner similar to Cydia. I answered him in pm already.

Your school allows for students to use an ipad but not an Android tablet? Hmmmmm sounds like discrimination to me. lol
