What kind of issue?
AOSP has graphics issues with a lot of games right now, so you are just going to have to go to a sense ROM or deal with it.
Provide some more info on what you mean by doesn't work.

It's a game. When you open it, it shows the splash screen and then exits.
So, this seems more like a rom issue. That sucks. I'll wait it out. I don't want to leave Neo's rage rom. To much good to outweigh playing a game. Battery life is the best on it.

I had the same problem yesterday so I just uninstalled the game. Other games work fine, including the graphically-intensive Shadowgun, so I have plenty to entertain myself with. I figure one less game on my phone isn't always a bad thing.

OK so the reason why its not working is because the billing services they off times out and closes the app. Going to look at it now.
Edit: i cant get the phone to allow billing to connect and thats why its falling out. above my pay grade.

Your issue is because the rom your on is linaro built. Run a non-linaro built AOSP rom and your issues will go away. I try to stay away from linaro because it causes some issues.
If you need I can compile my project "rachel" cm9 kang using stock compiler. If you would like me to do so just ask. It has a ton of features and good battery life. The rom I speak of was given to shrike. Its now called counter shrike

Well, will you? I'd appreciate it more than anything. I don't want you to go to any extra trouble just cause I'm asking though. I'm using a sense rom for now and the battery life is awful. I was using Neo's Rage rom and everything about it was great. The battery life with Snuzzo's kernel was excellent and everything was so fast. I hope I'm not asking too much.

This isn't entirely true. I've been playing Plague now for some time. The rom I am using is AOKP based with linaro. I'm not having any issues anywhere.
Plague's working for me. Running Snuzzo's 10/16 build and latest Funky Kernel

You mean what ROM we are running?
I'm using (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ at the moment, it's been working pretty solid for me.
You really can't go wrong trying out the various latest builds, Gray's is pure CM9 with no tweaks added, the rest have various things added/modified/removed.
Best way is to try them out, as everyone is going to have different opinions.
The builds are all pretty much the same, just small tweaks here and there, but Snuzzo's kernel is a beast, so Rage is the winner for me at the moment.
Rage all the way

Neo's Rage is awesome the inverted gapps are sick.
I prefer plain CM9, so I'm using Gray's ROM. Replaced the kernel with the Super Charge kernel though
Maybe this is a good place to ask: I'm running Gray's 9/21 CM9 build, does Snuzzo's kernel work with it? I'd like to give that Wheatley governor a try.
Which phone are we talking about here? Cm9 and kernels aren't universal right? Still learning.

I just rooted my phone and I'm anxious to put a good solid ROM on here.
Since upgrading to stock ICS from gingerbread (pre root), I've had nothing but problems, so I'm hoping a custom ROM cam solve this. My gps and notification sounds don't work, and the battery life has gone down the tubes.
I basically looking for a great stock gingerbread rom, or a stable ICS ROM that can provide me with the original stability and functionality this phone once provided. Suggestions? I am currently using the 3.0.35-siyah v3.4.2 nomswap+ktoonsez kernel.

I hear AOKP 7.1 is really good with battery and GPS, but I alo hear the kernel is what determines battery. Truth on both fronts?

I could say the same thing for PhoneBricker even though it is no longer supported. Point is, as you know ninja, ROMS and kernels play differently on each phone. Also, each gives a unique user experience.
OP, flashing correctly takes about 10-15 minutes not including download time. So, not having time doesn't work as a reason. Not being rude. It's easy to do while you're:
Taking shower
Using the restroom
Washing the dishes
While you're surfing FB on your laptop/PC

Once you start flashing stuff with CWM the deepest trouble I have been in is needing a factory reset. But if you are really scared then go ahead and download all the return to stock + root files and mobile odin and stuff. I just did that in case of emergencies.

Takes that long for the ROM to flash. Then add kernel cleaner and Gapps. Then reboot + re-optimization... Taking closer to 10 minutes. Add a few more minutes and you've got a great estimate of 10-15. EVERYONE has 10-15 minutes in their day to flash a ROM considering it's hands off once you press "go". See my examples.
The post above this has a great tip for anyone who wants to be prepared for the worst.

Whats the best CM10 JB ROM for the Rezound that is stable, fast and smooth and has very good batter life? Also, what would be a good Kernel to go with that ROM? Right now I'm on a CM9 ROM
Sent from my Rezound using xda app-developers app
They're all roughly equal in most areas. The instability with AOKP is gone in JB, so it's more about what you want out of the ROM. PAC has the most options, vanilla CM10 has the least (though still more than CM9), and AOKP is in the middle. Neo also has his customized versions of CM9 and AOKP if you like his stuff.
Stability wise, JB is overall a tick behind ICS AOSP, but not much (not enough to worry about in my book). I recommend pmem over ION if you are faced with the choice, and if you want to get the smoothest performance, check out one of the custom kernels (I hear Ermahgerd is good ).
I can vouch for Neo's AOSP jb Rom as far as speed and smoothness. Very few bugs at least for me (never use bluetooth) and I personally like snuzzos funky kernel (haven't tried the newer kernels like ermergerd or the oc kernel I have seen in the development section) but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the jb builds out there now because even a completely clean cm10 build without Linaro is pretty quick and definitely a very usable dd.

There's no noise cancelling in our AOSP device code, so what come in the mic goes out of the earpiece. I don't hear it as a echo though. Someone had to point it out to me for me to even notice it, because to me, it sounds just like an old analog landline.

All JB roms are going to have some bugs. The code for the note has not been officially released from Samsung. Just something you have to deal with and probably why no one has answered your question.
If you want my opinion try Jamie's latest and greatest CM 10.1 build. It's under the Android development thread. For me it has been the most stable.

You may want to try different governor and schedulers. Some are more stable then others and different ones work best for different phones. For my phone ondemand/sio is the best setup.
JamieD's UNOFFICIAL CM 10.1 preview 4 is very stable is based on the latest 4.2.2 and can be tweaked in many wonderful ways to work how u want it... I would trust ANY of his ROMs ... If u want 4.1.2 get his PA ROM from official development. If u want all of the latest features and also like updates then go for 10.1

Just to be the Devil's Advocate here, I actually had quite the opposite results. When I first started flashing and learning more and more, I got super into running different scripts and experimenting with different governors and schedulers...i think just based on the intrigue of having the capability itself, as well as seeing all of these posters on here saying how smooth and solid their phones were after running ________ governor at these super high over clocked speeds.
But no matter what combo i tried, I would always either LOSE UI speed, start overheating at the first sign of additional processing, drain battery like it's going out of style, or a combination of all three.
So I finally just gave up and started being patient every time I flashed a new ROM, just sticking it out for a few days on the stock setup...and sure enough, I've never been happier - UI smoothness, processing speed, battery temp, and battery life in general have never been better and more consistent for me since I "wizened up". Now keep in mind, this (like every ROM, kernel, etc) is rarely ever going to be exactly the same for anyone else - I have no doubt that your setups are working great for you - so take it with a grain of salt of course. Just wanted to provide my two cents!

i dont think that protable hotspot works on any CM10.1 rom. i also have P5 and and also P1, P2,etc....usb tethering is the only way that it works.
i also tried apps like FoxFi and WiTether and they dont work on this.
but i read in this thread, ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2082057 ), that running it without a password lets it work. i have not confirmed this yet.

Been using Jellybeer for a few days now with no problems. Loving this rom for sure.
Ive been a day one Note user and loved the work of all the devs here. I absolutely hate that the stock jb (specifically the debloated stock) is so Damn sluggish. I love the aokp/cm/aosp roms for speed but the random reboots and in some cases lack of stability are problematic. As are the battery life issues.
I've tried the other stock based roms and not sure if it's my device or what but they all get significantly more sluggish with time/usage. If anyone has a stable aosp/aokp /pure Android ROM to suggest I'd be happy to give it a spin. I still love the device just wish it was more smooth.
In any event I greatly appreciate the work of the devs that are still around. Please keep up the good work.

Well black jelly and fuze kernel may help or what I run is rootbox4/20 build and 4aces kernel build 4/21...I had sluggish issues as well with 4.1.2 .....but I have been more drawn to certain 4.2.2 builds as well as ICS builds due to then fact that 4.1.2 just doesn't like to work properly with my i717....

So you understand what I'm saying. I'll check out and pay more attention to the 4.2.2 roms and give those another spin. I'll try that combo you mentioned. Thanks much for the suggestion.

Also try the CyanogenMod April M3 or "snapshot" from the get.cm download site. This is one of the last 4.2.2 builds that were stable before the random reboots plague came.
Thanks very much for the suggestions I'll give those a try.

Try the CM 9 ROM in the development section. It's smooth and battery life is good

+1. For what you seem to want. Definitely try that CM9 rom. Its a good mix of jellybean + ICS like its title says.
However the other ROMS mentioned are definitely the most stable builds of non-touchwiz jellybean that you could get

So far the 8/28 Unofficial AOKP from BlownFuze has been very good. Looks like it may work out. I tried an earlier version of this and got the SOD and hand't been back in a while. If I have any issues in the future, i'll try the other recommendations.
Thanks!
Man I have went from the note 2 to this which is a long story but damn. Jb is almost non bearable to use. Laggy and even using cm10.1 stable and rc3 it would not even play angry birds friends correctly.
So went to stock 4.04 and removed all that att stuff since I am in Germany on o2 and I have to say its been pretty good to me.
I run nova launcher and so far battery has been good, angry birds friends play great and not an issue.
I really think Samsung just gave us jb to shut us up about it and forgot to check to see how it ran.
My next phone will be the nexus 5 or whatever it will be called.
Tired of this flashing 50 Roms to get my device to run the way it was meant to be
