Hi,
I just found something by mistake, While I was backing up my stock Boot Animation, I renamed it to bootanimation.stock.zip, but I forgot to transfer it to the phone's Internal Storage , And when I booted with that file I got something interesting.
Basically its the same as the stock boot animation, But instead of XPERIA you get ANDROID, with a different font and a slightly different color scheme. Just something I thought worth sharing
give me photo or screenshoot
It's AOSP bootanimation. Everyone know that. :what:

Thats general android behaviour
When there is no bootanimation.zip the animation is taken from the framework
That's default android animation.
Open the framework and you'll see.
Sent from my Xperia neo V
Thanks for the info

Hi every1.
Can anyone mod default Xperia lockscreen?
Xperia's that get ICS got their lockscreen changed.
There is Unlock on the left and Camera on the right slider.
I found that very usefull.
I can't found any app in /system/app that is lockscreen, so I think that it's part of Home.apk
Help please.

i thing you can found it in framework-res.apk
I have tried to modify it, but couldn't find correct files for the lockscreen. Looked through SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and some other files.
My idea was to check the .jar files in /system/framework, but since ICS is around the corner, I better wait for the update.

I have ICS firmwares myself also, but I am too busy to deal with it.
Also, ICS is around the corner, just wait for the update.
If you can't wait, search from Market for other lockscreen apps, like GoLocker, Widgetlocker and some others.
Had them, but they got on my nerves.
Oh well, gonna stick to default until ICS gets released and ported (prerooted and etc...)

Ok, I found out that the lockscreen is part of framework-res.apk
Now I just need to realize what to change inside it. Havin some clues, but can't test it cuz I don't know how to compile it after decompileing.
Typed via Xperia Active + XDA app
While all the other companies have been making awesome boot animations for their phones (such as Samsung and HTC), Sony has been lacking this. I know they make boot screens with the Xperia and Android logo, but they look too simple.
It'll be interesting if someone can make a cool-looking boot animation with the new Sony Make. Believe. logo or something like that!
Kind regards
Personally I like the Xperia boot animation.I find it elegant comparing top tacky overworked boot animations from the companies you mentioned :-D
Anyway there are nice boot animation collections I've seen in both neo and arc section, check 'em ;-)

I made a Sony make.believe boot animation for myself. Couldn't get the sound in though. Let me look for it and I'll put it up probably tomorrow.

Looking and forward to it.
and hey that's easy! Just add a mp3 file with the name "bootanim" to the bootanimation.zip and it'll play when the phone turns on
Hey guys.
So, I installed a Jelly Bean font (Roboto Light). It worked at half, as half of the system still uses the Sony font... For example: Tapatalk titles, Settings app, and some other apps... So, anything we can do to change this?
How did you install it?

I found it somewhere here in XDA. i can reupload it for you if you want to.
Was more thinking about if you were using an app to install it or manually changing system/fonts/. If you were doing it manually be sure you replaced all necessary fonts.

CWM flashable zip. I THINK I found it on Arc forums...
System UI use SoMabold font! So u'd better replace that fonts with SoMaBold!

[MOD][ZipThemer]IConSony β Complete NXT THEME PACK FOR ICS/JB MDPI!
Here I am again...
This mod uses the ZipThemer app, which means there will be NO compability issues.
ZipThemer works by patching images or XMLs inside your apk.
This mod is for those who HATE HATE HATE ICS blue coloured stuffs AS ME.
In this mod, all old Sony Ericsson styles or AOSP GingerBread styled elements are changed to NXT style (image source: XPERIA GO System Dump). Most holo (ICS Styled elements) are changed to NXT style (image source: XPERIA GO System Dump) as follows:
List highlights, Menu icons, holo progress horizontal, all holo buttons (check button, default button, radio button, ...) ICS App title bar, and more.
1.
Download the All In One Package
r1
http://db.tt/vUFGedb8
r2
http://db.tt/txtxFgkF
2.
Extract the 'ZipThemer'folder to the root of your SDCard. Install ZipThemer. Set up ZipThemer: uncheck 'Allow New Entries', choose Edify-WT19i in update script format, always create backup files.
3.
+Theme inside ZipThemer
--USE SemcHoloButtonXML.zip only if you are using stock SONY ICS ROM.
--USE SemcButtonHoloIMG.zip in non-stock ROM. or you will get soft reboots or odd button images.
--SmoothSpinners.zip make the old styled spinner rotates more smoothly. But do not use this in JellyBean or you will make lots of FCs in apps.
--JellyBeanAnimation.zip takes no effect in SEMC stock ROMs because SEMC hooked the animation sources.
--SystemUIXtremeModForSonyICS.zip add a lock button on the right hand corner of StatusBar and shrink the QuickPanel and DateView and change to XPERIA GO ICONS. SonyICS ROM only
--SystemUIXtremeModForNonSonyICS is the same as the above mod except it will not add a lock button. Compatible to CyanogenMod 9 ROMs.
--SystemUIXtremeModIconOnly -- as its name, only change icons and compatible to GB and JB ROMs.
Add the Theme zips you want to use.
Click 'Build it!' to start patching your framework-res.apk or other apk with the new images.
Reboot to ClockWorkMod. Install the update zip just created by ZipThemer.
Reboot and all done.
ChangeLog
r2
NXT THEME added SemcTextFieldHolo.
Added SpinnnerMods
Added StaturBarLayoutMods
Yeah!!!...you are back with awesome theme...:thumbup:

I already wrote it in TK's Walkman thread, but the texfields not changed, they are still default holo, with blue underline. Asking one more time: These resources (texfields, activity title bars, and other common parts of ui - that, as i think, should be related to framework-res) can be changed for whole system (in conversations, phonebook, and every other app)?? Or it needs "per-app" modding? I hope that you understand me, my english is not very well
Well, you hate AOSP blue, but I hate Xperia white highlight can I change that with this app to be all AOSP?
Sorry sorry, i forgot to upload the new file...

Sorry for mistake, updated with SemcTextField.
Depending on whether the app rely on framework-res. If the app rely on framework , the ap style will be changed on ZipThemer patches. Or else we have to mod the app sepratedly.

Oh ok so I try it one more time I think that most of SEMC apps rely on framework, because i flashed TK's apps and in my phone they look different, so TK probably have some framework mods.

While trying to replace my stock lock screen with a custom one.
I deleted the UxpNxtLockScreen.apk file placed in the /system/app folder.
This should make my lock screen go away. But instead what happened is that now there is a new lock screen (see the attachment) instead of that.
Im confused as to how this is happening.
Anyone who has also experienced this?

I doubt it
but if you try make a nandroid backup first (and back hope.apk incase you can still use device)
I doubt if there is a way to take Nandroid backups on Sola.
So wont touch the home.apk
Thank you for answering my questions.
