Nxt lockscreen - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

while searching on neo v thread i found that xperia s lock screen is for deodexed or odexed rom.My neo v is running stock ics 4.0.4 .587 plz provide the link and also what is odexed and deodexed rom tell in simple way.

de-odexed app uses less ram, is easier to tweak but needs more space.
odexed app uses less space but needs more ram. Also you can't use custom themes on an odexed rom.
Read the spacious, smooth and light ics thread for some more infos

Weird Behavior of Facebook app on ODEXED roms

Hey xda-ians...
Ever since i unlocked my BL (Sony Method)....I have been testing a hell lotta of ICS based roms on my Neo V including odexed and deodexed....and have come to a conclusion that on odexed rom the FB app acts weirdly like no timeline, missing posts and news feed and moreover if i open FB on the stock browser it is same as in the app unless i switch to the desktop version of FB...
While all this works fine on deodexed roms...:good:
Can anyone sort out y is it so????

[Q] Adreno Libs+Icecream pureness[14]+Alliance kernel(night elf)-Should I go for it?

I really like the above combination and think my phone will work smooth and zippy, also no problem with moderate gaming and battery life, but i'm not too sure cause this is my first time reverting from stock rom....Few questions---->
1.Will the adreno libs work with the rom, cause in the thread it was written they work only with stock rom, maybe it should have been stock based rom.....
2.Should i first flash the kernel and then the rom or the order dosen't matter.....
I would like all of your opinions of personal use of the rom, over time,if anyone has this combination please let me know how this works for you, should I or should i not go for this...,
Anything and everything you have in your thoughts about this please let me know and please answer my questions...{on a Neo V not a Neo}
always thankful:good:
Icecream pureness already have the new adreno libs. You dont need to flash it.And the combination is good.

Thanks dude!
i am using pureness build 14.
smooth and good battery life. adreno libs is included in the rom. no need to flash it.
the only way to know how good a custom rom is to try it .
you can always revert back to stock fimware or whatever rom you were using before it.
xperia ultimate hd rom - suave v 6 kernel .
I was using Ice Cream Pureness build 14 with adreno libs ( have in the build ), it's very smooth and very good battery life, but when changed my kernel for Lupus Kernel, rom stopped work. :crying:
Only was bootlooping.
PS: My english is bad, sorry for that.
Ofcourse.. because as far as i know lupus kernel is jb based.. how will it work on ics?? U cannot have a jb kernel and ics rom
Hope this fulfilled your need.. hit thanks if i did..

Do you also want us to install it on your phone instead of you?
Welcome to android world and welcome to XDA, take your time and learn something, that's what this is for, not for spoonfeeding people.

Jelly Sandwich is pretty good, you can find it under Neo V android development, I have been using it since some time, and it has got some very good features, moreover its built on stock firmware, so there wont be many features from sony which you are gonna miss. Actually that rom contains all of them.

i ain't gonna give you links of anything but i will tell you that as far as i have tested (nearly all roms) the neo v flies on GB ROMS... ics and jb is a bit too much for this litte fella, the hardware just won't cope with it in the long run... my advice> stay on GB if you want the best of this phone. ICS and JB was for dual core and more

[Q]Camera

Is there any cybershot mod for jelly bean?
Currently no cybershot for jb
Sent from my MT15i using xda app-developers app
then whats the use of having jelly bean...better ics
more free ram, google now, project butter, kernel 3.0.8 & 3.4 wip ... many more advantages except camera

This may work..
But stock keyboards are exclusively made for particular android versions.
I feel custom keyboards on play store are way better than stock
