Hello guys,
I have been looking for a music player that can go thru folders and able to add a particular song to a playlist that doesn't require opening the file.
Or as an alternative, an app like astro but with a music option to add an mp3 to a playlist.
Ny suggestions guys? Thanks a lot guys.

PowerAmp reads folders (or your library) and can add songs to a playlist by long pressing on the song.
If you want an app that builds playlists on the phone try Playlist Builder.
Mortplayer i think is what your looking fkr

Thank you guys for the replies.
PowerAmp sounds really good. I will try that as soon as I get a 2.2 update..

Thanks for the app recommendation but I can't add playlist with a long press. I will be keeping it though because atleast I can play a song inside a full folder. I am currently organizing all my MP3s and make main folders by genre and inside will be sub-folders of artists, and inside those sub-folders will be the songs. I am also editing the MP3 tags.
Thank you guys a lot.. These 2 players makes me a happy man. =)
If you use Windows I recommend Mp3Tag and if you want to create some playlists with your PC try Playlist Creator.
Thanks for the recommendation but mp3tag has no way to import tags but it can export tags in excel file though. I found a windows based program that is pretty powerful and can import and export, just can't think of the name right now.
Thanks again guys. I have been using mortmusic player for the last 5 days and I love this app even without making a playlist. The way I am organizing my mp3s I probably wouldn't need playlist anyway..
Have you tried Mixzing? I got it recently looking for something that would play by folder, since all my music is meticulously organized by folder even though many don't have artist or album tags of any kind. Most music players split up all my organizing to try to re-organize by album or artist, which doesn't work for me.
Mixzing works great for me, so far. And it goes out and downloads album and artist info if I want it to.
I downloaded MortPlayer to try, too, but I just haven't gotten around to playing with it much.
My mp3 music is organized the same as yours and I want to play music by folders and sub-folders. Mp3 tags just doesnt work for me. I played with mixzing before with my HTC evo but never really satisfied with it hence why I was still looking. Atleast for now, mortplayer is keeping me happy.
hi guys,
This might be a quick one to answer, i hope
When using the music player, i have many folders of mp3 music from apps which i cant seem to get rid of and it makes shuffeling music awful. Is there a way to stop those files from showing in my music libary? I have 3 albums in the music folder located at root and i have 1000+ sound effects somewhere else...
Thanks in advance!
I thought i give it a try. I downloaded something from Zippyshare and it said downloading.
Last time i tried, it went streaming instantly and i was not sure how to save it on the harddisk and i thought it was some limitation put by windows.
So now i downloaded and i could listen to the track , but here is the thing. I could only open it through the webbrowser. When i go to Nokia Music, there are no songs to be found.
Which brings me to one essenstial question..Where the heck is the file explorer? On the HD2 i had one and i could make maps and copy/paste or delete. Where can i find such thing? And how do i get my downloaded mp3 to work on the music player?
Thanks
anyone? i want to know where i can find my downloaded files through the phone and how to play my downloaded mp3 files on the music player .
There is no file browser and will never be. You cant download mp3s trough the browser, only just stream it.
Hey guys, I have a couple of audio books that I've converted from mp4's to mp3's. I've tried 3 different music players including google music, power amp and one other I forget and none of them will find these files for their library. I can use a file browser to open them with power amp but it treats it as a sound clip and won't save the progress or remember the file is there after I close it. Is there a file size limit that these programs look for? The audiobook mp3's are broken up into 4 hour segments so could that be it? Any advice on how to fix the problem? Im not an expert with audio programs and don't know how to brake things up into smaller files.
Oh and I'm on Resurrection Remix AKOP rom ... but this has happened with every Rom I'm been on since I got my phone.
I answered my own questioned and downloaded akimbo audiobook player from the play store.
I Got two songs in my phone and I woundered how I can combine the two songs together (copy song and paste to another song).
I checked the web for an app that does that but with no luck I didn't find. Does anyone know of such an app?
Thanks for the helpers
