[Devs help me] Smemo from SGS3 - Galaxy Note II Themes and Apps

Hi to all,
i have extracted Smemo.apk and and SmemoProvider.apk from a S3 JB deodexed rom and pushed to my Note2 app folder changing permissions; the app start but when i try to open a new note it force close.
Can somebody help me? Is it a lib issue? Which libs are related to SMemo.apk?
I need SMemo.apk working because i love his possibility to add a note widget in home screen.

There isn't in Samsung app store. Post me a link if you can.

ICS or GB? Either way download the flashable ROMs from the DEV section and open them up. They are in /system/app. They only work if using the TW launcher.

How to preconfig settings in a custom rom?

Hey guys i am making a rom so i want that after flashing my rom i get apps and widgets on my homescreen as i want... i want to preconfig settings as i want so that those apps and widgets are there already....

Still no info on how to do this? I want to create a custom ROM using your guide and after I am done, I want to have widgets on my home screen and some setting like I want them.
I have not tried it but i think you need to coppy data files from data folder...

Hi!
I don`t know if you got the answer by now, or already knew this, but I found how you can change some of the settings and have some things as you like, right from the start when you first flash a ROM.
Using apktool you have to decompile SettingsProvider.apk and edit the \res\values\bools.xml file. And maybe the other files in the values folder.
Still trying to find out how you can change more values.
If you gain some knowledge about this, please do tell.

I think it can be done by copying data from phone to rom.. like data of launcher or something...
Just a guess so not sure if it will work... can't try it till jan(busy in exams) but when i try it i will report it here...

I accidentaly deleted my stock music apk. Ive downloaded the link you gave, and tried to install it but it say 'app not installed'. what should I do?

They are Stock Samsung widgets..scroll on to the widget section in App Drawer..
However if you are on AOSP based ROMS you will have to install Samsung based firmware/custom ROM..
Sorry i meant that i want to extract the widgets from the rom and mod them to make them transparent.

All these widgets are in /system/app folder..

S5 Photo Editor without S5 mod

Hello mates,
Presenting the way to have the Latest Photo Editor (S5) on 4.4.2
KK Rom.
here are the steps:
First through any root file browser go to /data/app
Rename the com.sec.android.mimage.photoretouching.apk to com.sec.android.mimage.photoretouching.apk.bak
(This was your existing common photo editor)
Now flash this

Reboot.
Now from gallery if you open an image and want to edit, you will find the new photo editor with lots of options.
This is tasted on DN3 RC2(NOT FOR DN3V5) but should work on other 4.4.2 roms also.
Again WHOLE CREDIT GOES TO THE GREAT E-team for giving us the S5 mod and apps.

Here is the update mates, for ported android 4.4.4 users
First rename the 'photoretouching apk' as '.....apk.bak' in /data/app and rename the Gallery apk as same in /system/priv-app.
Now flash the zip, check, if everything is okay you can delete those renamed apks.

Then you don't have the common photo editor, no problem, push the file (1st link) to data/app, change permission and reboot, then check.

Just checked, working fine,
install Mega from play store, sign in with your google account and download from your device through mega app.

You need full S5 mod for video editing options. That is studio option from gallery menu and you can't use 'shot and more' because it needs S5 camera.

You need full wipe, flash the rom, then flash S5 mod, then reboot, but even after do so it didn't work for so many users. You can try.
