I recently was able to downgrade my bootloader and achieve s-off...but I am unable to flash to the latest radio...under both scenarios recovery and bootloader installs, the file flashes successively, but the radio version does not change. It there something special that has to be done to flash radios?

I flashed the full firmware found here http://themikmik.com/showthread.php...dio-Collection&p=220556&viewfull=1#post220556
I put it on my ext sdcard and renamed it PJ75IMG.zip booted to bootloader and it saw the file and flashed it. Did you use the lazypanda fastboot flash enabled HBOOT found here
http://unlimited.io/lazypanda.htm in the downloads section at the upper right? If not try to flash that first
It flashed when I loaded the entire firmware in bootloader...thanks

So to update firmware first fastboot oem lock and then flash the newest RUU then unlock again. Is this correct?
Exactly

Or you can flash a stock recovery without relocking/flashing RUU and take the update if you are on stock ROM.
Why does everyone think you have to rearm your bootloader for updates?
Remember we have an unlocked bootloader which is signed by HTC you don't need to relock for anything, the signatures contained in it are valid
The only thing you have to make sure to receive the ota is to be fully stock, doesn't matter if rooted or not, and that you have stock recovery and all the bloatware that came with the phone, otherwise the update will fail.
Note : if your rooted you will loose root after the update.

IF you are 1.5 S-OFF then its business as usual. Flash the ROM from custom recovery like traditionally you would and you should be good.
Most of us have Hboot 1.5 S-ON, this method involves flashing the Kernel first (however you want to flash: fastboot or Flash GUI) and then flashing the ROM via custom recovery.
im sorry i mistyped, im s-on, and i do know how to flash roms i was wondering the proper steps to update to the newest firmware. i have read many instructions about it but im a moron and got confused along the way
again thanks

Extract the recovery.img file from a RUU/ROM.zip file.
And then fastboot flash recovery recovery.img or rename it to PG86IMG.ZIP and run it like an ruu?
If that's the case, can you just run the last Sprint ruu then do update? Or will the ruu not overwrite recovery and kernel? Trying to figure this out to without messing up the phone. I am also running with 1.5 s-on.

I down graded to hboot 1.4 and The got s-off using revolutionary
I am now trying to install some roms and Not sure about some things. Will Roms that are based off of software version 2.17.... work after downgrading hboot because we had to downgrade software version too?

Do you want to from 2.17 to lower version or from lower version to 2.17?
If you want to go from 1.13/2.08 to 2.17 the follow this :
To use 2.17 ROM with hboot 1.4 and S-OFF first flash this PG86IMG.zip -----> http://db.tt/57Mycsoj by putting it on root of sdcard (1st rename the file to PG86IMG.zip) then booting into bootloader. It will detect it and then let it update.
It will update your radios and firmware. It will not touch the hboot and Secureflag.
After the update you can flash any 2.17 ROM or restore any update if you had.
NOTE: I dont know exactly if you can still flash a 2.08 ROM after the radio and firmware update.
Also, After you have installed the above PG86IMG.zip file, delete it from your SD card. Otherwise when you try getting into recovery using the power/down volume method, it will search for the update and ask to install it again.
thanks

1.13 refers to the ROM version. You will now need to DL a 2.17 based ROM and install it. The above file was only to get you ready for the install of a 2.17 based ROM.
Will someone point out which is the file has the most current radios please?
I currently have hboot 2.27 and am s-on.
I have 2.22.10.0001r/2.22.10.0003r radios.

Whatever rom you were using. Go back and flash that boot.img to that rom
Wifi is working again. But the radios didn't update.
Can I use fastboot to boot the radio.img file? Or will that mess up my phone?

HTC One AT&T RUU 3.17.502.3 - Decrypted RUU zip:
RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_Cingular_US_3.17.502.3-decrypted.zip
Firmware only: firmware_3.17.502.3.zip
This is the 'rom.zip' that is normally packaged in the RUU.exe. It can be flashed with s-off only, since it's unsigned. Mainly for those that want system image, radio, firmware, etc. for ???
CID: CWS__001
To flash (s-off only):
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip [I]rom.zip[/I]
Replace rom.zip with the actual zip file name.

Thank you for sharing. Is the full RUU.exe file available to download as well? If so, are you able to share the location or does the general public have to wait?

It's taking for ever to download the decrypted zip. Is it anyway you can remove the largest file and allow me to download so I can make a firmware package. Don't really need the system img.

Alright this is what I've done, I've flashed old touch drivers and then used the 1.26.502.15 rom to flash in recovery. My phone is downloading the 4.3 ota now. How can I copy the ota from my phone?

You have one or two options. You can go to my thread and flash the firmware package and then the new radio, then flash a stock 4.3 rom in the ATT thread. Or you can go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474782 download the 1.26.502.15 rom and flash, take the ota, reboot and flash your custom recovery and if it's twrp allow it to root and done. Also if you could do fastboot getvar all in boot loader so we could know what firmware, etc. your on would be helpful.

The RUU contains radio: 4A.19.3263.13_10.38j.1157.04
The OTA contains radio: 4T.20.3218.13_10.12.1718.01L
I was able to flash the ruu.zip file and return to stock without issues. Currently rooted and using CID CWS__01 -- All after I flashed the ruu, and entered the bootloader, it reported my CID as 1111111 (this was before I changed it).
I've done a ton with firmware zips but haven't flashed an RUU yet. Will an RUU zip clear storage as well? Kind of want to play around with the stock experience for a couple days before ViperOne 4.3 makes an appearance.

We don't flash radios by themselves in recovery. They get flashed along with the other corresponding firmware through HBOOT.
