The newest radios are from the global ota update 4.05.605.14_710RD
2.23.10.0123r/2.23.10.0124r
here is a link to the radio files

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I've ran the ph98img file with it unlocked and all it shows is parsing. I locked it and ran the ph98img, and it showed checking. But now, I've lost my Wifi radio and I've gotten a lot more random reboots and sleep of deaths.

Whatever rom you were using. Go back and flash that boot.img to that rom
Wifi is working again. But the radios didn't update.
Can I use fastboot to boot the radio.img file? Or will that mess up my phone?

This is for old firmware folks only! IF ARE RUNNING THE ICS LEAK FIRMWARE, DON'T FLASH THIS!
If you S-ON your device with this installed, IT WILL BRICK.
What is this and why is it better than the ENG Hboot?
This is a patched version of the 2.11 Hboot. This is for GB firmware users. This was patched by the Juopunutbear team. It is very similar to their 2.21 patched hboot. It allows for fastboot commands without HTCDev.com unlock, but not the full engineering set. This is safer for users. This is also not a leaked HBoot like the ENG one was, so this should cause fewer issues with devices like the ENG hboot may have. If you are on the ENG hboot and do not need the extended subset of commands and/or are having issues with the ENG hboot, I recommend flashing this one.
Please thank the Juopunutbear team for developing this as a better alternative to the engineering hboot.
Installation:
-1.S-OFF the device
0. Make sure you aren't on ICS firmware
1. CHECK MD5!!!!
2. Rename file to PH98IMG.zip and place on SD card
3. Reboot to HBOOT
4. Flash bootloader when prompted with volume up.
Download: HERE
MD5: cf20a2a731b4415fa11a60920730747a
If any issues arise from the use of this hboot, please bring it to my attention so I can contact the Juopunutbear team. I am just the messenger with this one.
Again, flashing this or anything you find on the internet is your responsibility. Myself or the Juopunutbear team can't be held responsible.

Thanks for this, I wont be using as im on the ics leak but im sure those on 2.11 will find this useful
Just to make sure, I was on the ics leak before getting s-off then flashed the eng hboot GB firmware PH98IMG that suprchilpil posted. This would still be relevant for me if I didn't need the eng hboot right?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I guess better to ask and confirm.
Con, would you recommend downgrading if on the ICS leak and getting back to Hboot 2.11 ?
Con, you're a great man for what you do, but could you PLEASE make a wtf to do with s-off for dummies, (from incredible where everything was easy, only one hboot) Most of this confuses the hell out of me. If anyone could make a "what is all this" or whatever thread it would be of much thanks.
Edit: so in other words, i have no idea what any of this means lol.
I will stay on the 2.11 eng hboot for the time being as I have had no issues since downgrading from 2.21.
I will however download this and keep it handy just in case.
Thanks
I can write more notes tomorrow. I will have time in the next couple days to hopefully do a big info dump.
Thanks for putting this out there....

Had the ENG version
Downloaded via phone

Renamed PH98IMG.zip
Booted phone into bootloader
Flashed
Rebooted
Fine.... Worked great..

Inside the firmware.zip it's the only file thats not an img
"hboot_8x60-lte_2.27.0000_120803_MR2.signedbyaa.nb0"
I flashed the firmware and still remained S-OFF just needed to dev-unlock again.... Either way just remove that file and you can flash without risking S-OFF /unlock
also becareful with the boot.img (kernel) unless you are running the stock OTA

Well if you install the newest hboot and need to run fastboot commands, you do need to unlock.
The Jbear 2.25 hboot works fine on this update if you need extended capabilities. I have flashed the jb2.25 and back to the stock 2.27, I made flashable zips for both stock 2.25 and the 2.27 hboots have flashed between them all on this Patch OTA.

Go to the bootloader screen and tell us what hboot and radio versions you have.
Hboot 2.21 is gingerbread.
2.25 is the first ICS OTA.
2.27 is the global update.

Need to lock the boot loader before running the ruu if you're s-on.

This is the process I've used from what I've read here many times.
Place the PH98 file of the RUU on your ext SD card.
Relocking the bootloader always has started the flash process for me but if it doesn't.
Pull the battery.
Boot into bootloader.
Let the RUU flash.
Let the phone boot but don't set anything up.
Shut down the phone and pull the battery.
Reboot into bootloader again.
Flash the RUU a second time.
Boot the phone.
Delete the PH98 file off your ext SD card.
Power down and pull the battery.
Boot back into the bootloader and do a factory reset.
Reboot again and enjoy.

THANK YOU!!!! Thanks all around! I am proficient in adb and rooting and unlocking bootloaders but what ive come to realize about htc is the whole s-off/s-on crap. as soon as i relocked the bootlooader and flashed the ruu already on my sd card i was able to get booted back up. im running a s3 as my my driver and dont really have to deal with radios and hboot, but when i had my thunderbolt it really started to bring back memories. thanks for the help guys!
So I have the virgin mobile 3d and I am rooted with s-on. I've been trying to get it off tho. So I was following the quick and dirty thread. And so I relocked the boot loader and then I started up the RUU like the guide. And about halfway through the installation it gave me boot loader version error 140. So I looked it up and I think it means that I was trying to downgrade. And that's why it didn't work. I was supposedly going from 1.14 down to 1.13. These are the version The ruu gave. I'm not sure what the numbers were about but can someone help? That ruu was supposed to be the most updated one. And i have been searching like crazy. Any help would be appreciated. I understand these things, so don't be afraid to talk techy to me lmfao. Thanks

See the note for S-ON users in this post, which is also linked in the informational posts after Step3 of the guide. The reason you are having this problem is because you have already installed the OTA, which has a higher main version (mainver) than the VM RUU.

The PG86DIAG.zip file is an advanced diagnostic that is very tightly controlled by HTC, but the bootloader always looks for it anyway.
The filename for the zip doesn't matter when you use the fastboot flashing method. Can you paste the messages you are getting here starting with the "fastboot erase cache" command? Make sure you delete the PG86IMG.zip file from the root of the SD card before trying the fastboot method.

So you're saying I should extract the PG86IMG.zip from an older VM ruu? And then place in the root of my sdcard? That would give me the stock boot loader :-/. I already got s-off with jbear hboot 1.7
I'm trying to dual boot eventually so I want to be on hboot 1.5
Edit: one thing I haven't tried is leaving it named PG86IMG.zip and placing it on the SD card. But using 1.5 is that safe to try?. I'm thinking it will work because it is a sprint phone. It has sprint branding. It is just on VM. Let me know what you think

HTC One AT&T RUU 3.17.502.3 - Decrypted RUU zip:
RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_Cingular_US_3.17.502.3-decrypted.zip
This is the 'rom.zip' that is normally packaged in the RUU.exe. It can be flashed with s-off only, since it's unsigned. Mainly for those that want system image, radio, firmware, etc. for ???
CID: CWS__001
To flash (s-off only):
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip [I]rom.zip[/I]
Replace rom.zip with the actual zip file name.

It's taking for ever to download the decrypted zip. Is it anyway you can remove the largest file and allow me to download so I can make a firmware package. Don't really need the system img.

It was taking me forever to try and get the ruu I have decrypted between my mac and pc, lol. I noticed to that ATT has a different listed radio compared to the RUU downloaded from HTC.

Alright this is what I've done, I've flashed old touch drivers and then used the 1.26.502.15 rom to flash in recovery. My phone is downloading the 4.3 ota now. How can I copy the ota from my phone?
Edit: Done!
This is the easiest way to return to stock correct?

I have s-off. My goal is to get to stock 4.3, but have root. Just no custom rom.

You have one or two options. You can go to my thread and flash the firmware package and then the new radio, then flash a stock 4.3 rom in the ATT thread. Or you can go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474782 download the 1.26.502.15 rom and flash, take the ota, reboot and flash your custom recovery and if it's twrp allow it to root and done. Also if you could do fastboot getvar all in boot loader so we could know what firmware, etc. your on would be helpful.
I'm on mobile atm and won't be near a computer for a while, can someone tell me what radio version is included? Is it the 4T radio from the prior AT&T leak?

The RUU contains radio: 4A.19.3263.13_10.38j.1157.04
The OTA contains radio: 4T.20.3218.13_10.12.1718.01L
I was able to flash the ruu.zip file and return to stock without issues. Currently rooted and using CID CWS__01 -- All after I flashed the ruu, and entered the bootloader, it reported my CID as 1111111 (this was before I changed it).
I've done a ton with firmware zips but haven't flashed an RUU yet. Will an RUU zip clear storage as well? Kind of want to play around with the stock experience for a couple days before ViperOne 4.3 makes an appearance.

Thanks, I'll be sure to make backups before I begin. I'm s-off with supercid and currently running a custom 3.22 firmware by sneakyghost. Anything I need to be aware of aside from the storage wipe before I leap?

No that's about it. I was actually on the 3.22 firmware and was able to revert to stock older rom and take the ota.
