Hi all,
I recently purchased and installed the full body invisibleSHIELD and thought some of you might like to see a round of photos and read my review. It can be found here: http://www.pocketables.net/2008/05/review-htc-shif.html
I'm really happy with the shield and would recommend it to anyone with a lot of patience (there are 15 pieces total so it takes a long time to apply them and allow everything to "set up") looking for a way to protect the Shift without making it thicker/bigger or covering up its good looks.

I already have the invisibleShield for my iPhone and my MacBook Pro and didn't knew that there was one for the shift too!
It's an excellent protection tough, I just bough it!
Putting it on is a mission but looks good after, but I will not call it "invisible"...But for protection it is the best thing ever...

I would have liked to come across this before buying the product, a couple of weeks ago...
My shift definitely is another device now, I really love the shiny look, lets hope I don´t have to remove the screen protector, since other users have said it decreases the use of the stylus, making it get caught up or something...

Just a heads up to anyone looking for a few accessories for the HTC flyer. Best Buy has the scribe pen for $39, the invisibleSHIELD for $10, and the Rocketfish Leather case for only $15. These prices are taken from their website. If I had not already bought a leather case, I would pick up the rocketfish from them.
Yeah. I got the pen when I bought the Flyer. It was $39 at that time also. Happy they littered the price of the Shield. What they were charging for just the screen protection was more than Zagg was charging online and only $5 less than what Zagg charges for the full body protection, which I got with free shipping. I'm not crazy about the case since there's no space for the pen, but that's definitely not a bad price.

It was on their site originally but I'm guessing they took it down because it was sold out. What' s even more puzzling is I was talking to a Best Buy associate yesterday and he told me that the flyer is discontinued. Of course I didn't really believe him but I checked on their site and saw that not only is the flyer backordered, It is unavailable at every best buy around me in a 100 mile radius. Hopefully he was just full of it.
I went to BB last night and got the Zagg screen protector. That was the last one that they had.. They had the stylus and cases, though.
I have no direct insight into HTCs management decisions, but from having owned several of their products, my opinion is;
Bestbuy is closing the Flyer out, they put it on sale and are not restocking.
This probably means that HTC has declared end of life for the flyer meaning they will not make any more.
I would not be surprised if HTC declares that the Flyer is not getting any software updates because its hardware doesn't support Honeycomb or ICS. That's completely false of course because we all know the hardware will support either, but this is an excuse they have use several times in the past.
I expect HTC to either exit the tablet market or come out with a new line of lesser quality builds at a lower price point.

Does the NT one cover all the glass (including a cutout for the n button), or just the touchscreen section?
I'll let ya know when I get it but it's difficult to tell from their screen shot.

I got the skin today and installed it. It went on easily and did have a cut out for the n button. It fit over it perfectly and went to all of the edges without issue and fit snugly.
It actually took longer to prep the NT with all the cleaning of the smudges and smegma on the screen than it took to apply the skin but it looks great now.
That was a good purchase.

How is this case any different than the verizon case? Serious question, I have one but im afraid its squeezing the phone too hard.
