I have recently gotten a Samsung Galaxy S3 and realty like the calendar and s memo apps, hoping for consistancy between devices, makes it much easier when adding appointments and finding appointments when the calendar looks and behavior is the same. Has anyone successfully installed these apks to the t300tf and know where I can download them. Thanks

Doubtful.
Those apps rely on the Touchwiz framework that comes with Samsung Roms, and so won't work others, like AOSP.
Maybe check out S3 forums, see if anyone was able to port them.

there are always ways to do it.
i was able to run the TW launcher,S voice and a couple other things from the S3 on my nexus.
i personally haven't see it done though. you can always try and throw it in system/app and see if it works.
I have the handwriting keyboard do you think it will work. I'll try and report back.

Mozyman's right, most of this relies on Sammy's TW framework. (Same reason you can't run that stuff on a CM10 GS3). Google "Touchwiz on Asus Transformer." Some work has been done I think to port TW to the ASUS, but you're going to have to run the TW launcher. Pity, because I too love the GS3 Calendar widget and haven't found anything quite like it.
Hi guys can you please help me reset my Simpson tapped out game . I can't seem to find how to do it.

I haven't found the data files or folder however I did find a working donut & money hack if you guys want it!

I don't think you can reset it. It syncs to a server. Although I could be wrong.

I think you're right, it's server based as it runs in real time whether you're in the game or not.
I have an issue though.. I have two devices and would love to have the game running on both.. the phone during the day and a tablet in the evening.. does anyone know where the account info is?, if I can copy the account data from my phone to the tablet (or vice versa) I could play from the last saved place each time.
Any thoughts?
I'm actually checking into this as well, as far as I can tell its in the root folder data/data/ea.comsimpsonsblahblahbl I can confirm that the "other" town is the files in save folder because I deleted them and now I force close ONLY when visiting other Springfield.

Your issue seems like it could be sorted by downloading it to both with same Google account no? Im not entirely sure as I only own phones but if it syncs online you would think right?

Search for "Game Killer" its like game CIH and game guardian but actually works, if you need a tutorial you'll have to wait until I'm home from work lol

i'll try that game killer..
Just reset mines last night, you have to wipe everything and reflash your rom. Seem like the file that connect our phone to their server is hidden some where. And for whoever uses GameKiller cheats, before you close the game, make sure you buy the "Homer Buddha" until you get more Donuts.
on my galaxy s3 i just uninstalled and re-installed the game and my data was gone easy

I had figured out how to work Game killer, but when I went to the alternate universe, my donuts went back down to 2, I thot I had saved the hex addresses to go back to but its not there, any way u know the hex addresses I would need to change the donuts field for?
I actually had the same problem, tried a lot to find it again as well, what did work though was I bought a crap load of land in game and just spam bought dumpsters for 1000$ as they give you exp to lvl up the fastest, lvl up = donuts((to raise search value higher again, I recommend 5 donuts or above.))

Gamekiller download
Hi, can any of you link to the gamekiller apk please? I'm can't find it to download from anywhere I trust!
Also a tutorial on how to use it with the Simpsons tapped out would be great.
Thanks
There is also a modded apk floating around out there, I'm sure if you use Google you can find it.
The real trick is how do you reload your current world after reflashing a rom? I think a hard reset also disconnects you from your current world. The game server must have some way of identifying your phone, the phone name maybe?
That should allow you to play on multiple devices too. If you could figure out what the severs look for to identify your device.
has anybody found out how to put an old simpsons game onto a new phone?
I.e. i have a long gaming going on my old phone but i want to transfer it to my new phone.
My old phone is rooted and i find a file in .android_secure
new phone isnt rooted so cant access that folder to copy into it, if thats the right folder.
Not possible at all - it's linked to your device's hardware.
Sorry if anyone else had this problem..I searched a bit and couldnt find anything. Basically...my s-note cant find any of my notes. I can find the notes under storage/sdcard0/S Note. they are all there, but for some reason S-Note wont find them. I can even hit the menu button in s-note, hit import, get to the files...then just open it. I can open and save, but it still wont pick up the file(s) in the s-note 'homescreen' where you can usually see all the notes. Maybe this happened since I dirty flashed from beanstown's jellybeans 10 to 11. Im kind of lazy to do a full reflash and set up all my homescreens again, especially as Im not sure that would even fix it.
So yeah, if anyone has any input that would be great-- I use s-note a lot and having to go to import every time for each single file, just to have it not remain there is getting pretty annoying. Also, its really slow as every time i open s-note it searches for note files.
Any ideas?

Idk what the problem could be, but have you ever flashed from a CM to Beans? Also another option in SNote is synching with GoogleDocs or Ever note...just an option.

nope, my note 2 was stock, then beans10, then 11. I tried syncing with google docs, but it just gets stuck on synchronizing as I assume its looking for the files, so.. same issue.
Only other thing I could think to do was was create a new folder "S Note" and move all my notes from the original "S Note" folder and hope it stuck, but to no avail. Appreciate the input though.
Try moving the notes from the snote folder on your internal SD, clearing the data for SNote, then moving the files back into the folder on your internal SD. I just did it on my Note 10.1 and SNote started syncing flawlessly. Have you tried that?

Damn, tried a couple times, one with just wiping from build in app manager, again with TiBackup, and once wiping with both. Wouldnt sync up any of these times. Idk what could be the problem. Wish there was a way to just point it to the damn folder.
Thanks again for your help though.
Did you dirty flash from Beans10 to 11?
Another option would be to backup apps and then clean flash B11.
Did you install the Samsung setup wizard in aroma? Beans noted it's required for some Sammy apps. On the same screen of the install where you picked S-voice.
It's worth a try.

Hey forum! Verizon note 2- touchwiz roms
I have played around with most of the touchwiz roms available, and the one thing that I actually use is the samsung account to sync my snotes with my note 8.0. VZW roms have the syncing disabled within the account(thanks vzw). I have been running Cleanrom ACE 4.7 for ever, as its the only ROM that has every feature I need (Sammy account, 5 minute setting for syncing exchange email). I did try to upgrade to Clean ACE 5.0, but the native email sync went to 15 minutes. No good, for me. Push tends to keep the phone awake and affects battery. Really, its the flasher in me that just wants to try new stuff, as there is so much good stuff to play with.
-Basically looking for International based roms that work on VZW, with Samsung account syncing capabilities and 5 minute sync in the native email setting.
-If not, the ability to ad the samsung account to a ROM that doesnt have it that works on VZW.
I feel that I am so close to finding the perfect "newer" rom. Every time I flash a new one, it is just missing one ingredient that I need. Its a vzw vs the world thing- and because of work I am stuck on vzw. Great coverage, just affects the fun with the phone!
Anybody know of a rom(besides clean 4.7) that can achieve what I am looking for?- thanks

hi. I have the exact same problem but im on i9100 I want to use custom roms but they don't have samsung account option. some roms even include samsung link app but its useless without being able to add the samsung account. you will receive an error that it cant find the Samsung account. Please somebody must know how to do this. I understand that its because that part of Samsung software is proprietary and therefore any custom rom cant include it but surely i can do it for myself?
Can you push the APK's manually from ROMs that have them? Idk if it doesn't work, most of the time I hear people try to get rid of samsung rather than inject it, lol.

I figured that would be the way about it but what packages. who knows? ... and yes I feel a deep sense of irony in the fact that im actually seeking out Samsung foulness
indeed I think the only reason im interested is because I can't have it
I don't know. Make a nandroid, wipe rom, install rom with Samsung apps, use tb, find all Samsung apps, back up those, wipe system, restore nandroid, and restore tb.
Otherwise just find a rom that has it, download, change it to a zip extension, extract Samsung files, push apk
wow. it was litterally as simple as googling samsungservice.apk
I used one from 4shared as I have a 4shared account. the app updated on first launch and works as expected.

That's excellent. Nice work! Did it ad all the Samsung apps, and sync for snote? I know I actually added aosp mail to satisfy my then needed, mail sync settings thru exchange. My company now went to Google apps, and I moved up to the note3 which vzw didn't disable snote sync. Which is a surprise!

i did a search and someone asked this about 2 years ago, and the answer was that its not possible. But maybe there is a way now.
Im wanting to install 2 instances of the same APK
The app is: Star Wars Force Collection
Reason im wanting to do this: Once you install the app and login to your account, theres no way to change accounts without uninstalling / reinstalling and logging into new account.
Looking for a way around this. I have a rooted Nexus 5.
Thanks for any help

Or get multiple profiles (by custom rom or app)

ive seen an app that does multiple profiles but after reading reviews its not that safe and can corrupt your main profile / or prevent you getting back to it.
Still looking for a solution here, must be possible

you could unpack the apk and rename the package name... I'm not sure how to do this as I'm no Recognised Themer, but if you did get an RT to help you then I'm sure you could install the same app twice if Android thought it was a different apk when it isn't, unless it'd bugger it up by having the same app loaded in ram at once. I'm no expert but this is the only way I can see of doing it.

Sorry to bump such an olf post but im looking for the same reason as op. Running multiple instances of the same app would make life much easier. Im running lollipop so all the guides iv read thus far havnt had any success. Can anyone help?
I would like to only run 1 instance of the same app ,different versions though
Sure, this is possible via Lucky Patcher (I know, we don't love Lucky Patcher here). You can use the clone app option. I'm not sure how they do it. They change the last digit of the package name, I don't know if they change anything else. If it needs to be different versions, I don't know how.
