Hi,
I used JB 4.1.2 and have a Problem with the Contacts App.
How can i import my Contacts to external SD ? I found only Storage0 (internal SD)
How can i found an Option that i can delete "ALL" Contacts ?
Also i miss: mark any Contacts for delete...
Delete (ICS): Click the menu button, then "Delete" and then mark your contacts.
Export to external SD card (ICS): Click the menu button, the Import/Export and then choose your desired option from there.

Open PHONE, press the CONTACTS -third icon on top (if you're on the CALL icon, you'll only see SETTINGS). Then press MENU. There you'll see Import/export.
Pls. press Thanks if that helped you..

Your external SD is mounted in:
/storage/sdcard1
You can also download the awesome "solid explorer" from playstore. It will always correctly locate your external SD, no matter the Rom you are using.

Your internal SD is mounted in /storage/sdcard0.
Solution:
- Run App backup & restore
- press menu button, select Preferences
- Under preferences, select Backup folder
- Select browse, and browse to its location on your SD, select use this folder

I've just replaced the stock rom with cm7 on my x10mp. looks sweet.
problem: the sdcard isnt mounted. there is an sd card icon on the top left corner, when I press it says "sd card safe to remove".
before installing cm7 I had apps2sd (with the stock rom and kernel). for the latter to work I had to partition the sdcard to two partitions.
could this be the issue? should I reformat the sdcard to a single partition?
or if I reformat the sdcard, could this break the cm7 (if it wrote some critical data into it)?
TIA

Which kernel are you using?
I've formatted the sdcard and now it seems to work fine.
does cwm7 move apps to the sdcard by default? or do I need to install apps2sd/link2sd for that?
TIA

when I long press on an app there's a menu popping up where I can choose application info->move to sdcard
I dont have a2sd/link2sd installed. it seems to be a built-in feature of cyanogen 7. am I wrong?

That's okay, ext partition is a little faster + show up apps at boot without waiting
but may decrease SD life
I personaly prefer native app to SD "move to SD"(which you're talking about)

Under titanium on the main menu it should say how much free space you have on each storage device can you see that it recognizes everything correctly

Reinstall titanium and try again. Otherwise check the download location
Settings>Prefrences> Backupfolder location, i would just point it to somewhere on your extSdCard. If it was a space issue, other from than that i dont think i can help much further.

Which didn't work at all for me.
It had been working perfectly without setting the backup location until (probably) when I upgraded to CM10.2
Did you try the other steps
I mist with?

you cannot move all folders to sd-card or generally in new path.
for example for whatsapp; that s the directory created by app itself and may use it in future
if you remove this folder whatsapp will recreate it when needed but maybe u miss some files from whatsapp.
(in Android 4.4.+ 3rd party Apps cannot create file in External Memory (only system app can do this))
sd-card is good for your media music, photos, videos
if you don't want to miss any important folder use this setting;
Settings > Storage > (scroll down) Transfer Data to SD card
:good:
Hit Thanks if it s useful

Already did that.
What I want to do is avoid whatsapp and other apps to save media in local storage.
Is that possible? Thanks in advance.

So App won't do this
unless u use Root App
app that get root access (so u need to root ur device and etc.)
example of pre-install app is Camera App that has option to store both in internal and external but other app cannot do this.
+ hit thanks Button instead of typing it

My phone's already rooted. So I have to find a modified version of whatsapp ?
YES you can do what you want, get an app called foldermount, with that you can symlink ANY folder you want (including WhatsApp, large game folders, camera directory or whatever) from your internal sd card to the external sd card.
Edit: sorry you will also need handle external storage from xposed for it to be able to use the external sd
Your welcome

I set spotify to download two playlist in order to be able to play them in offline mode.
Spotify alone is occupying 7gb of my internal memory. How can I move those files to the memory card (sd) ?
Folder mount
I tried wiping my SD card but it is asking for a PIN password.
I have no idea what is it.
I tried 0000 1245 but failed.
Does anyone know?
Any info in any of those XML files?
