Looks like I'm the first too try.Impostor my findings if any.thank-you.
Is there a way to run this from the SDcard? Thanks.
I'm gonna try this, although it may take a lil while due to the fact that I'm in school right now. Screw studies there's a new NT ROM out!

Well, I'm back on cm9 because about every 3 minutes or so it would kick my out to the boot sequence. I kept trying to download the LCD density modder to fix the screen density from hdpi to mdpi, but I couldn't due to the frequent crashes. I dunno if this is just me and I botched the install somehow or if this ROM is still extremely alpha. If these are routine problems id recommed putting "WIP" or "devs only" in the thread name. Just IMO. Hope this is just a problem with my install.

Runs nice. No problems so far.

First install caused boot loops but after wiping everything once more and flashing again it booted, no problem. Excellent build everything works great. I do with button Savior worked though. Thanks

I do not know how to do it. But I'm sure you can follow CM7's way to make 1

Make sure you do a factory reset after flashing the rom. And don't restore data from cm9 using TitaniumBackup.
Didn't restore from cm9

I have problem playing hd video on youtube with miui. Still can't find a solution. That keeps me from releasing an update
Other than that everything is working fine though.
Hi, will it work on a 8Gb Tablet or it's just for 16Gb?

Will this upcoming update of MIUI include the HW accelerations that Team B have been able to achieve?

The rom should work but the kernel is for 16g only. You need to mod it (change the irboot) for it to work on 8g.

What about Play Store and other Gapps, are they included?
I tried it; it's not better than any cm7 rom here; wifi issue is worse ; disconnect many times! Any ways; thanks for your work

CM9 has worked great with the games I have been able to download. Unfortunately I have not been able to download most of my favorite games. I know you can edit build.prop, but is that recommended? If not will there be any future changes to get Play Store to open the market for us gamers?
Use root explorer and replace build prop from the kindle fire thread.

So don't follow that link ??
this is a stretch . . . do you have a second android device -or- a friend with a different brand of an android device ? ? ? sometimes, it is possible for the second device to help the first device . . . . and the titanium backup app will be your best friend ( and a good inventment to pay the couple bucks and go 'pro' with it. )
I sideloaded about five games from my galaxy nexus..most don't work, they say the device isn't recognized or compatible or if I can play the controls are unresponsive or very off
How are you doing guys I just acquired a TouchPad guys and I wanted to flash the most stable version of android there is, I don't care about the camera or mic, as long as the other things are functional, I was looking around to see if I could find a def guide to how to do this, but all the ones I found were outdated, Am i trying to flash cm7 before cm9? hmm is there anyone who's willing to help me out a little bit?... I would deeply appreciated, btw the tablet looks great, I used to have a xoom, but had to return it.l.. anyway.. If anyone cares to help me out it would be appreciated, I just need the help because all the 'files' are all over and I wann make sure i get the right files! thanks in advance
Welcome! I used this: http://liliputing.com/2012/01/how-...-on-the-hp-touchpad-cyanogenmod-9-alpha.html . You don't need to install CM7 first. I would recommend the latest CM9 nightly, since I found that the last alpha's wifi can be temperamental. The nightlies are pretty stable. OaT also has a good stable one.
EDIT: corrected link.

Hey yeah the files I'm lookin for are the original files, the novacom drivers and the ACMEinstaller... thats what I need to root it right?
Head over to rootzwiki and check out the Official CM9 thread for the touchpad:
The OP provides links to all you need.
The attached pic contains the link. Not allowed to post links yet
I used to be on the nightlies (was using 8/19 most recently) but have switched to OaTs LnT from 7/29. Its faster and more stable for me. Great rom for the TP.

Thanks bro I really appreciated it, just one quick question ... this is a brand new touchpad... with 3.0.5 on it... If i wanted to install any ICS rom on it, are those all the files I need, from what I understand I need to get the novacom drivers, install novacomdrivers, place the acme installer in there, then mount my TP, create the cminstall folder, then copy the CWM file, the rom, and the moboot in this folder. and then follow instructions? Is that okay? is that it? the thing that is bugging me the most is that I'm not sure if I have to install the acmeinstaller1 first and then ugprade to acmeinstaller2, and if the rom I put there first has to be a CM rom or can it be any other
That sounds good. Acmeinstaller2 is fine, I believe. Any ROM is okay, it doesn't have to be CM.
Acmeinstaller (including V2) assumes the ROM and CWM zip filenames start with 'update-' and you may need to rename the files in the cminstall folder otherwise the Installer won't process them.

Correct, just AcmeInstaller2
To install CM9 on a new touchpad you'll need acmeinstaller2, Moboot for choosing the OS you want to boot when powering on your tablet, gapps for Google apps, and clockworkmod for backups and flashing things in the future.
I recommend following reverend Kyle's videos on YouTube. Look for his CM9 alpha 2 videos where he installs with acmeinstaller2
I'm running the latest nightly and it works great (smoother than alpha 2 and vibration/microphone works!)
Hi everyone, I just want to know if does exist an SD version of CM10 that works the same as the Team-B CM7 SD version? I mean, that runs Android from the SD card and keep it that way (no installing)
Thanks.

A bit more detail please.
How did you wipe the touchpad?
Which version of WebOS did you use?
And anything else that you can think of so that might be useful in for people to help you.

Thanks for the quick response.
Have you read jcsullins post #4 in his toolbox thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52765164&postcount=4
I haven't run this myself as I removed webos myself and am happy with the results.
Hopefully it will resolve your problem (you may need to run the complete reset again before if trying webos Dr 3.0.5 messed anything up).
Hopefully that will work, otherwise the Dr version you need to run 3.0.0 as that is the only one that correctly sets up the partitioning, followed by 3.0.5 to bring it up to date.
If any of the above suggestions work remember that you will have to muck about with the date to reestablish the license. If you have a problem with that just post again and I will give a link to what I'm talking about.
Or if these options don't work I will post further options but the above is probably enough to get started.
Good luck.

I didn't after installing WebOS I got the rom and the gaps I installed them. I didn't resize them I'm not sure how to. Sixohtew post is on rootzwiki it was advised by Ronald Deschain a member of this forum.
That is why you have a problem. I really think you need to do a bit more reading and I suggest that you start with jcsullins Rom Toolbox thread followed by mybe watching some of Roland's videos.
Equally l am unable to offer help on Roms that are not on the xda/hp forum as I stick to what's here.
Good luck and have fun ☺
I would agree with sstar. Do your reading on this site in the developer forums. From what I understand, the Rom you installed has not been updated since March and there is not much follow up or discussion of it.
Unless you have a specific reason for using this Rom, I would suggest you look for one on this site that is supported and is updated. Getting Android on the tablet is easy enough with Toolbox, but deciding what Rom to use requires some investigation on your part.
You can wipe and recreate the partitions using LVM and then doctor it.
