Hey guys, my x10mini will reboot sometimes and sometimes not when receiving calls. And sometime it just shut down itself. After that whenever I turn on the phone it will also reboot after the lockscreen appear. Any pros can help me with this problem please. Appreciate it. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your reboot problem.
You could check if you get the same problem using another SIM card in the phone. If you only experience reboots when receiving calls maybe it could have something to do with the SIM card.
If not you can try to reinstall the phone software using Update Service. Found here: www dot sonyericsson dot com /updateservice

Hi,
My Xperia S suddenly quit vibrating at all, not for (text) msg's, incoming mail/sms etc, and haptic feedback for the 3
bottom keys doesnt work as well as that for the keyboard. Yesterday for some reason it stopped, but after a while it
returned. However, atm there's no vibrating at all again, which is annoying since I dont like to check everytime if I have a
msg or not.
I did not turn it off myself, and checking the settings it's still on. Furthermore nothing happened to the phone in terms of
mechanical damage. I did not recently (last few days) install new apps, but updated to firmware 6.1.A.2.45 5 days ago.
I dont think that has anything to do with the problem though, since the problem occurred only yesterday.
Phone software is just the original stock software.
Anyone recognizing this problem and perhaps has an idea on how to solve it? I'd be very thankful...
Thanks in advance,
Nanoxy
Send it to Sony to repair vibration.

Hm actually I hoped it could be some software bug... I wouldnt be happy to
send it to sony etc... too much trouble
Isnt there some code I can dial to check if vibration works at all? I think I read somewhere about it but cant find it now...
And, if I use "back up and repair" function of pc companion, and repair using a back up of lets say 1 week ago, will I lose any data?
I mean of course I lose things I did this week, but for the rest are there things I should know before trying this?
Same here ever sinceci updated to ics ( any chance you live in belgium too)?

The Netherlands, so close...
But well, total reset + restore with back up does not help... I find it hard to believe that its a hardware problem though...
how's that possible for no reason :s

Yeah mine worked all the time, but stopped working at a moment not close to an update...
besides, vibration is not AT ALL working... I cant even force it to vibrate after installing some
of those sad "vibrator" apps or whatever... I'm afraid the only thing I can do is let it repair, which totally sucks.

Yeah thats what I meant, but... if I choose vibration at "service tests" it wont work...
does that mean its just 'broken'?
Got the same problem with my Acro S ...
Same problem on my Xperia S. Ran the vibrator test without any issues - doesnt seem to be a hardware problem.
There's always something.
------edit---------

The resulting questions being... how did that setting get toggled?
Cheers.

My wife's Xperia P has a strange wifi-problem:
It keeps connecting to my router, again and again and again.
When connected, the internet is fine, but within the minute it reconnects, than it's connected again, then it reconnects...
It's some kind of strange loop .
Phone runs Android ICS (4.04)
Does someone has a solution for this problem?
Have you tried a factory reset?

Hello everyone .. Im new here but i have searched all over the internet , forums etc...
I think there is a bug for cm9 xperia p ... I installed cm9 because it has minor bugs ...
So when I install it its ok ... after a few hours when i have finished downloading my apps ( facebook, chrome etc )
My xperia starts lagging and when i go to see CPU settings its ONDEMAND and it runs on max frequency ... and then when i lock it and then try to unlock it doesnt show anything... The wierd thing though is that touchscreen still in function and i can reboot ( after guessing where is reboot button)... The same thing when i try to charge it...
Does anyone else experienced the same? Is there any fix?
Thank all of you
I found it out ... its the auto brightness do not enable it if you have the same problem as I have posted
