[Q] android.process.acore need root ? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Use translator so sorry for my English.
The process "android.process.acore" asked me to ROOT rights. I was a bit curious and started looking into what it does. Unfortunately, but are written in each forum that this process they close or does not work. I work but I was asked by law Root. From the information I've found on the internet showsit was a process from google to sync contacts. Apparently the errors pop up when freezes or begins to bury in gmail, contacts list, and the same contacts. Of course, I write about the applications and not the same contacts.
It would be nice if someone wrote exactly what the process and whether it needs root.At the moment, however, admitted the right of me is a little worried.
The message appeared for the first time after updating the firmware to version 4.0.4 (Build .587)
Can someone who knows about it could something to write on this topic?

'Google Talk authentication failed' error

I just got my Atrix yesterday, I seem to have the issue where it wont successfully log in to google talk which also means that I cant download apps. I've tried making a new account which also failed to work. Are there any ideas out there for how I could fix it?
Can anybody help me?
I had the same problem and figured out that it was Droid Wall keeping Gtalk from connecting. Make sure Talk can access the network freely.

After cloning a samsung gio s5660 through a CWM backup I started experiencing the same issue. Heres What REALLY happens.
Google authenticates you in their services trought unique "keys" which are automatically generated upon system installation / factory reset, so if you clone your device or install a rom which has these "keys" pre-installed, obviously, your rom will only autheticate you in google servers if your phone is the only one using the service at that given time... Upon failure, your phone assumes to be the one who's wrong, and google servers won't autheticate you until you either tell your phone he is not wrong (by deleting the data from play store, which resets its status and errors) or you change the "keys". SO, what can we learn from this? deleting the play store data IS a temporary solution, and won't solve a thing. Let's delete the duplicated keys shall we?
Navigate with your favourite folder explorer on your android (I use X-plore, you can tell me anything, there's nothing better) to the following directory:
- "(root)/data/data/com.google.android.gsf"
Now you have two real options, either you may delete the all folder, which was the perfect solution for me, since my rom is prepared to re-create it upon phone restart and new keys will be generated, OR, you might want to just delete the contents of app_sslcache inside com.google.android.gsf whish are THE KEYS I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS ALL TIME, YEEEIHHHH and reboot your phone...
Needless to say, take a nandroid backup before you do any of this...
Thank me later
For those who remember me from symbian s60v3 phones, yes, it is me, I'm back, and I've moved to the droid world, it's much better indeed
Let me just say, I have no idea why this thread was moved or resurrected. Whoever did so was about a year and a half too late. Please close/delete this thread.

[Q] Install Google Apps on a Coby Kyros without Rooting?

Hello all,
I've searched the web and have only found solutions involving rooting and something called Cyanogenmod. Looks tricky. I'm fairly tech savvy and not totally opposed to doing this stuff, but I'd really really REALLY rather do this only as a final final last desperate resort. My only goal is simply to have Google Play up and running on my Android without rooting and putting on all sorts of fancy mods. Besides, I'm not even sure if there's a Cyanogenmod for my device. I looked and it's not in the list.
I recently got a Coby Kyros MID1042, Android 4.0 tablet. It doesn't come with Google Apps. I want to install Google Apps. I have tried doing this by using the APKs and installing manually. I found instructions on Youtube and downloaded some signed apks with Vending 3.3.12.
Things seemed to be fine until I clicked on Google Play in my apps tab, I was prompted to enter my Gmail account info, so I did. I got the message "Your phone needs to communicate with Google Servers to set up your account...", but after a few minutes, I got a message that says, "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server", followed by "Unforunately, Google ServicesFramework has stopped."
I have searched this and other forums and have come up with solutions that seem to involve something called "rooting", resetting and installing some MODs... I'd rather use rooting or modding as an absolute last resort. I'm wondering if there's any insight as to why I'm getting these messages, or if someone may be able to point me to a better .apk package. Thanks in advance!
search in the internet for a pakage called "gapps" (be sure u chose the right one cus theyre depending on the android version u use)
head to the recovery mode and flash them afterwards it should work
you dont need any root acces for this cus every phone got a recovery by stock rom

that was simple problem, you just need to change your kernel
ID LINE : mcsyber
Line Issue
Register your line while connected via WIFI
I had the same issue. It works fine if you do it that way.
There is no need for a new kernel.
I have used Line on Siyah and Chameleon (Apolo) however after a PIT change I developed issues when going back to Apolo
Hey There,
Same problem for me. Went from an Iphone with a Line account on it, and would like to transfer it to my Android device. Wasn't able to do this so far. I saw some of you might have the same problem.
I did it through WIFI, no change.
How did you guys figure it out?
Thanks!

[Q] Whatsapp stuck (again) on Initializing

Hello.
Due to some problems in my Smartphone (Android 4.0.3), I had to uninstall Whatsapp Messenger and reinstall it.
It was working perfectly before I uninstalled it.
But now, there is no way to have it working again. I should say I already have an active account till April 2014. So, I installed it both downloading from the Play Store and downloading from Whatsapp website. The result is the same:
1.- Once re-installed and being sure I have both phone line and wifi network, I start whatsapp.
2.- I accept the terms.
3.- Whatsapp ask me for my phone number. I introduce the same I always have: +34 abc de fx yz and OK
4.- Whatsapp discover the old databases and ask me if I want to recover messages from them. I answer yes, whatsapp tell me that 3.189 msgs are recovered.
5.- Whatsapp ask me for the profile details, photo and name. And the strange things start here:
5a.- It seems not having recognized my phone number, as it ask for my profile, that I feel it had to be known
5b.- In the name field, there is a number too similar to the one I introduced in 3.-, but NOT the same, no country code and the last 2 digits are zeroes: abcdefx00
5c.- By this time, no message, no phone call is received
5d.- No question about verify code is received.
6.- Anyway, I put my name in the profile name field and press NEXT
7.- Whatsapp goes to “Initializing, wait a moment ….” And nothing more…. It stay stuck there…. Non ending. Hours later, the only way to resume my phone is restarting the phone.
I already tried all the suggestions of the different forums: go without recover messages, download 2.8 and then reinstall with the most recent versión, download from market and then reinstall with the most recent from whatsapp website, erase the old databases.... Same result.
I found that last year there were similar problems that seemed to be due to whatsapp servers problems, and week ago also the verification server had also troubles... Could again be this the problem?
I am planning to do a "Factory reset" of my pone (HTC Sensation), but I would like to explore any solution before that one.
Any help, please?
Thanks and kind regards

[Resurrection Remix H850] WhatsApp doesn't find any contacts since update

Hey guys,
I think that this is may not the perfect place to ask, but because I didn't registered before I can't write in the related release thread....
I allready read that some people are experiencing problems with RR ROM and Whatsapp as e.g. infinite initialising etc.
After reading the latest posts in the release thread my Whatsapp is initialising, but doesn't sees any contact (yes, the rights for using contacts are granted).
I tried syncing them manually, what only took a few ms and also tried it in the app.
I used the RR unofficial buid for the LG H850 (G5 intl) Ver. 5.8.1-20170214 and GBWhatsApp 5.40 before and everything worked fine.
After updating today to the official 5.8.2-20170324 release I first encounterd the infinit initialising bug, wich I had solved by removing rights to use contacts before starting GBWA, but now I don't have any contact as describe before.
So I think the problem was born between these releases.
I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I hope that someone may has an idea how to fix it.
If not, I most probably have to change back to the unofficial, wich had other issiues
Thanks in regard
Dr. Console
Nerver mind,
I tried a bit arround, giving GBWA full rights even to change system settings, disabled the sync and restarted and everything works now....
I don't know whats the reason, but maybe this info could be helpful for other people experiencing the same problem....
Hope that it will be totaly fixed in the next release.
Have a great sunday
Dr. Console
